A teen contestant on Wheel of Fortune left audience members shocked after she answered G to fill in 'Fre_h Tropical Fruit.' On Monday night's show, Khushi Talluru, of Colorado Springs, froze at the worst possible moment and unfortunately offered the wrong letter to answer a seemingly easy puzzle - or so the audience thought. After correctly guessing the letter H at the end of the word, host Pat Sajak urged the teen to 'solve it or spin, but do something quickly.' The Pine Creek High School student seemed hesitant and bought herself a few extra seconds by spinning the wheel....

CNN should have taken this golden opportunity to shed one of its most embarrassing actsAs for promoting policies that actually harm women — for example, encouraging confused men to parade around in women’s clothes, compete on sports teams against women, and even mutilate themselves in a vain attempt to become women — well, such insane policies have the bad housekeeping seal of woke approval. So they are firing on all cylinders in politically correct redoubts like CNN.So Licht welcomed Lemón back from his little timeout. This morning, Lemón issued one of the those grating mock apologies that minor celebrities emit...

A fire at a uranium processing facility in the Y-12 National Security Complex led to the evacuation of hundreds of workers on the morning of Feb. 22, but officials said the fire was quickly contained and no radioactive material was released. The fire at the Y-12 in Oak Ridge, a highly secure facility where experts manufacture parts for America's nuclear weapons and provide enriched uranium to the U.S. Navy, started around 9:15 a.m. in a uranium processing area in building 9212, Y-12 communications manager Taz Painter told Knox News. Hours after the fire, officials said all evacuated workers were accounted...

Britain’s elite cultural institutions – the BBC, universities, the national trust – are dominated by the woke. Since smart people tend to get ahead in life, you might assume the woke would have higher intelligence. Not so, according to a new study. Louise Drieghe and colleagues surveyed 300 North Americans adults using the platform Mechanical Turk. To measure participants’ cognitive ability, they administered the Ammons Quick Test, which involves correctly assigning words to pictures. Previous studies have shown that people’s scores on the test correlate strongly with their scores on more comprehensive IQ tests, such as the Wechsler Adult Intelligence...

Tesla is moving its global engineering headquarters to the former Hewlett Packard campus in Palo Alto, it announced during a press conference with CEO Elon Musk and Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday. The video in the media player above is not related to the current story. The ABC7 News Bay Area 24/7 streaming channel allows you to see news throughout the day. "I couldn't be more proud of California's commitment to support Tesla over the course of the last few decades. It's demonstrable in terms of policy, in terms of direction, more broadly. An interesting regulation, dare I say, for...

Far and away the most common question I get from those who took one of the COVID-19 vaccines is: “how do I get this out of my body.” The mRNA and adenoviral DNA products were rolled out with no idea on how or when the body would ever breakdown the genetic code. The synthetic mRNA carried on lipid nanoparticles appears to be resistant to breakdown by human ribonucleases by design so the product would be long-lasting and produce the protein product of interest for a considerable time period. This would be an advantage for a normal human protein being replaced...

Gisele Bündchen, 42, is campier than ever on the cover of Vogue Italia’s March issue — so much so that some fans think her high-fashion look is verging on drag. On the Brazilian’s first Vogue cover since her high-profile divorce from oft-retired Tom Brady, Bündchen rocks a blood-red über-short ’do with matching ultra-thin red eyebrows, along with dark, graphic eye makeup and a red silk Valentino dress. But the picture made Instagram users do a double take, as Bündchen fans think she looks similar to “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 5 winner — and Broadway’s latest “Chicago” star — Jinkx Monsoon,...

A rare Blizzard Warning has been issued for parts of Southern California as the next storm system is expected to crash ashore on Thursday. Howard Stern joked that CNN managed to quickly “cure” Don Lemon of his sexist views as the scandal-ridden anchor returned to the network Wednesday after a three-day absence. The shock jock made reference to the “formal training” that Lemon has reportedly agreed to undertake after he triggered outrage by declaring GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley, 51, “isn’t in her prime” because she’s a woman. “They took Don Lemon, they suspended him for a day and they sent him right into sensitivity training and then he came back the next day, he was all cured,” Stern said on Wednesday’s episode of...

The value of the US housing market shrunk by the most since the 2008 as the pandemic boom (and M2 Money growth) fizzled out. After peaking at $47.7 trillion in June, the total value of US homes declined by $2.3 trillion, or 4.9%, in the second half of 2022, according to real estate brokerage Redfin. That’s the largest drop in percentage terms since the 2008 housing crisis, when home values slumped by 5.8% from June to December. Homebuyers, already facing record-high prices, took an additional hit from mortgage rates that more than doubled last year. With less competition in the...

The Supreme Court on Tuesday turned away an Ohio man's claim that his constitutional rights were violated when he was arrested and prosecuted for making satirical posts about his local police department on Facebook. The justices' rejection of Anthony Novak's appeal means his civil rights lawsuit against the Parma Police Department cannot move forward. With its decision, the court again declined to consider revisiting "qualified immunity," the contentious legal defense that lets police officers and other government officials off the hook in civil rights cases if constitutional violations have not been "clearly established" when they occur. At issue was whether...

One mother warned people for years that a youth pastor was a danger to children. When his arrest made the news, they started listening. A mother told Channel 9 news in Charlotte that in 2011, she attended a church in San Antonio where Benjamin Damron was a youth pastor. In an interview, she said she fought for over a decade to get Damron away from children after he got “weird” with her son. Last November, eight years after the Texas mom began expressing her concerns, police arrested Damron in Charlotte for abusing multiple teenage boys at local public parks and...

CNN’s new CEO Chris Licht is looking for a slam dunk — and he hopes to find it in Charles Barkley, we hear. But network insiders think it makes the new boss seem like a basket case. Licht — who developed something of a wunderkind reputation in the industry after he helped Stephen Colbert beat late night rival Jimmy Fallon at his last gig — took over at CNN in May 2022 after former boss Jeff Zucker was sunk by a sex scandal. But ratings at the network — which is in the midst of a another scandal after anchor...

China's Baidu Inc will use its ChatGPT-like app Ernie Bot to create a "revolutionary" version of its popular search engine, the company's CEO said on Wednesday (Feb 22).
