Last night, the 2023 Grammys in 5 minutes showed you graphically how close to the end we truly are. Satan, brought to you by Pfizer. Just like we’ve been telling you. If you were looking for a theme song wrapped in an iconic moment to truly symbolize what it means to be here on Day 1,057 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve, the 2023 Grammys last night was just the ticket. You had LGBTQ+ transgenders, Satan, women in cages being beaten with whips, all while singing a song called ‘Unholy’. And if that wasn’t enough, the moment this demonic...

Professor Gershon Galil at Haifa University’s Institute for Biblical Studies and Ancient History, along with Eli Shukron from the Bible and Ancient History research institute, found that the 8th Century BC inscriptions – on a stone no bigger than the palm of a hand – not only include Hezekiah’s name, but also list his achievements from the first 17 years of his reign. Those include his commission to carve out the pool at Siloam and the tunnel to access the waters underneath the Gihon Spring. The action is believed to have helped saved the city by denying sources of water...

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis likes to posture as if his state is on the cutting edge within the Republican Party of setting policy to implement conservatism and beat back liberalism. However, on the issue of election integrity, DeSantis’ record is questionable, particularly considering his administration’s embrace of the far-left Soros-funded Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC). The American Policy Center (APC) has revealed that the DeSantis’ administration is laughing off concerns from election integrity activists about the ERIC system, which has been shown to inflate and misrepresent voter rolls in order to bolster Democrat political machines. According to the APC report, Florida...

One of the most important points to keep in mind though, is that water and erosion are scale-invariant. In other words we can see the same shapes and patterns, but on radically different scales. The small current ripples that you see along the creek can be found at West Bar Ripples in...

Jan Donohoe McNamara supports legislation to limit where people carry concealed firearms. Her brother, John McNamara, was among five people shot and killed at the Capital Gazette newspaper’s offices in June 2018. New York City is converting the world’s tallest Holiday Inn hotel into the Big Apple’s sixth mega-shelter for its surging migrant population, Mayor Eric Adams announced Tuesday. The deal will supply 492 rooms for adult families and single women, Adams said in a statement. “With more than 44,000 asylum seekers arriving in the last 10 months alone, we have helped provide shelter and support to nearly as many asylum seekers as the number of New Yorkers we already had in our shelter system when we first came into office,” he said. Terms of the contract weren’t announced, but The Post...

“I didn't take any bait,” MTG told me of heckling and calling Biden a liar during SOTU. “As a matter of fact, I got so many messages from people in my district and people across the country, it was like I won my election again. Eleven of the world's most dangerous cities--Baltimore, Memphis, Detroit, Albuquerque, St. Louis, New Orleans, Oakland, Milwaukee, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Houston--are in the United States. All of them are governed by Democrats. Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott attributed this statistic to "the greater courage and willingness of Democrats to take on harder challenges than the pantywaist Republicans who only want to rule orderly and law-abiding communities." If you missed any of the other Semi-News/Semi-Satire posts you can find them at... https://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,490964.0.html

American supporters of Washington’s Ukraine policy often portray Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky as a noble champion of democracy who deserves even more U.S. military assistance than he has already received. The political and media love-fest accompanying Zelensky’s address to a joint session of Congress in late December 2022 was a recent example of such hero worship. Voice of America published an article comparing Zelensky’s appearance to Winston’s Churchill’s address to Congress in December 1941. David Frum, writing in the Atlantic, asserted that Zelensky recalled us to ourselves and our democratic values. Frum added that the Ukrainian president “came to the...

The soil of Bakhmut is dusted with snow and soaked with blood. This small city in Eastern Ukraine is at the centre of an epic battle. For more than six months Russian forces have tried to claim it. Ukrainian troops have resisted, giving rise to the popular slogan here "Bakhmut holds." On the muddy shores of a lake in east-central Germany, Neanderthals gathered some 125,000 years ago to butcher massive elephants. With sharp stone tools, they harvested up to 4 tons of flesh from each animal, according to a new study that is casting these ancient human relatives in a new light. The degree of organization required to carry out the butchery—and the sheer quantity of food it provided—suggests Neanderthals could form much larger social groups than previously thought. The find comes from a trove of animal bones and stone tools uncovered in the 1980s by coal miners near the town of...

There are two kinds of prosperity, one fake, one real. Bogus “prosperity” depends on credit-asset bubbles inflating, magically creating “wealth” not from labor, production or improving productivity, but from the values of assets soaring as bubbles inflate. This bubble-generated “wealth” then fuels a vast expansion of credit and consumption as assets soaring in value increase the collateral available to borrow against, and the occasional sale of soaring assets generate capital gains, stock options, etc., which then fund sharply higher consumption. When the value of a modest home skyrockets from $200,000 to $1 million in a few years, that $800,000 in gain was...
