An autopsy has determined that actor and comedian Leslie Jordan's death last October at the age of 67 was from sudden cardiac dysfunction, the Los Angeles County coroner's office confirmed Thursday. On Oct. 24, the "Will and Grace" and "American Horror Story" actor was found in his car in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles without a pulse after getting into a car accident. The L.A. Fire Department reported that his gray sedan collided with a curb and a tree. Firefighters and paramedics tried to perform CPR and other life saving techniques on Jordan, but he was eventually pronounced dead...

Raising a healthy, stable family sometimes requires moving to a new state. The reasons people choose to move are often similar: career transitions, better schools, financial challenges or a general desire to change settings. Wants and needs don’t always align in a particular state, though. For instance, a state might offer a low income-tax rate but have a subpar education system. However, families do not necessarily need to make these kinds of tradeoffs. They can avoid such problems by knowing which states offer the best combination of qualities that matter most to parents and their kids. The ideal city is...

Tuesday I [i.e., John Sexton] wrote a story highlighting the fact that the number of Virginia high schools who failed to inform students about their merit awards had risen to 13. Two days later the number has risen to 17. The count just keeps growing. Marshall High School Principal Jeremy Litz just sent parents an email, telling them that “it has come to light that Marshall High School students designated as Commended Students this past fall were notified later than we would have hoped.” This brings to 17 the number of high schools in Fairfax County, Loudoun County and Prince...

this year, dominating the main street in Davos are emissaries from India, who have taken over at least eight storefronts with appeals to the elite gathering’s political and business class. “Every 10 steps you will have either us or a state government or a private entity,” said Deepak Bagla, the CEO of national investment promotion agency Invest India. One investor, Bagla joked, had described the thoroughfare as “Little India.” India has shown up in force for good reason. In 2023, as global recession fears persist, the country is expected to log the best performance of any major economy. The World...

I rate Donald Trump along with Ike, Kennedy, Nixon and The Gipper as one of the best five American presidents of my lifetime. (I was born in 1957 on a day when Andy Williams "Butterfly" was on top of the charts.) I believe that what the Trump Presidency did for America and for the Western World would never have happened if he had not had smart beautiful women who loved him in his family and at his side. Words and images which I believe prove this can be seen by clicking the link in red type below the title of...

A federal judge on Thursday imposed nearly $1 million in sanctions on former President Donald Trump and his lawyer for filing a since-dismissed ‘frivolous’ lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and many others, which had claimed they tried to rig the 2016 presidential election in her favor by smearing Trump.“We are confronted with a lawsuit that should never have been filed, which was completely frivolous, both factually and legally, and which was brought in bad faith for an improper purpose,” wrote Judge John Middlebrooks in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in his order sanctioning Trump. The judge in his...

Santa Fe district attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies and special prosecutor Andrea Reeb said Thursday on FNC’s “The Five” that Alec Baldwin definitely pulled the trigger of the gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins while discussing the involuntary manslaughter charge against the actor. Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed has also been charged with involuntary manslaughter. Baldwin said in a December 2021 ABC News interview, “I didn’t pull the trigger.” Anchor George Stephanopoulos said, “So you never pulled the trigger?” Baldwin said, “No, no, no I would never point a gun at someone and pull the trigger at them, never.” Reeb said, “We defiantly believe...

Yet the fact that nations and whole civilizations have also collapsed, with tragic repercussions lasting for centuries, is a sobering reminder that there is not an unlimited latitude for error or misconception. Sealing ourselves off from reality within a vision risks the the kinds of catastrophes that blind rulers have brought down upon themselves and their countries, from the days of the Roman Empire to the cataclysm into Hitler led Germany. The key factor in these calamities has often been a blocking of feedback from reality, epitomized by the figurative or literal killing of messengers bringing bad news. When beliefs are...

Amid indications that Russia is planning to resume offensive operations in spring 2023, Ukraine's allies are scrambling to provide Ukraine with sufficient artillery ammunition. But this requires scouring the globe for munitions to feed Ukraine's polyglot collection of Soviet-designed guns and the dizzying array of howitzers and rocket launchers supplied by various Western countries."Ammunition availability might be the single most important factor that determines the course of the war in 2023, and that will depend on foreign stockpiles and production," US defense experts Michael Kofman and Rob Lee wrote in December for the Foreign Policy Research Institute. The US has vowed to...

A co-worker of mine here in California told me about a friend of his, Dave, who never got the COVID shot but, in late December 2021, got COVID. In his early 50s, remarkably fit, with no comorbidities, and with Christmas just a couple of days away, he figured he could ride out the virus at home. But he only got worse, ending up with symptoms so severe that his wife, fearful for his health, insisted that he go to the hospital after Christmas. With his lungs failing, Dave was put on a ventilator. But once the machine took over his...

the once-unknown, gum-chewing, no-nonsense West Virginian is infamous in Europe. European leaders, typically used to dealing with fellow heads of state, are now seeking facetime with the newfound Davos Man himself. They are getting plenty of it. ***** Manchin said that Scholz countered that the U.S. places too many penalties on European cars entering the American market. So the West Virginian pulled out his cellphone and Googled “tariff cost on autos in Germany.” In bold, the search engine’s front page excerpted the relevant part of a 2019 Deutsche Welle article: “US levies a 2.5 percent tariff on European auto imports,...

Former pharmaceutical executive and researcher Alexandra “Sasha” Latypova has laid out compelling arguments for why the “cartel” that orchestrated the dissemination and uptake of “biowarfare agents” — marketed as “COVID-19 vaccines” — operated with “very clear intent to harm” and to execute a “mass genocide of Americans.” Latypova worked more than 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in research and development, including data analysis, clinical trials, and technologies, while also co-founding multiple research organizations before retiring at a relatively young age. Having been alarmed by government policy during the COVID crisis, she began conducting several levels of investigation that...

What you are about to read is the epitome of pure evil. A journalist from Townhall.com wrote a horrifying story Tuesday about an LGBTQ ring involving a gay couple allegedly raping and pimping out their adopted children to pedophiles in the Atlanta, Georgia suburbs. Mia Cathell, the journalist who wrote the article, had been investigating William Dale Zulock, Jr and Zachary Jacoby Zulock for months after their initial arrest in July 2022. The Gateway Pundit previously reported that both men were accused of making porn with the children, who are adopted siblings. The children were rescued and taken by officials....
