White House defends decision on easing Venezuela sanctions for oil Monday After the White House claimed that U.S. oil producers have "plenty of opportunities" to drill domestically, some executives are slamming the administration’s "completely inaccurate," "flat-out lie." "We've basically tracked about 125 specific actions that this administration and the Democratic Congress have done to slow down or stop oil production in America," American Energy Alliance President Tom Pyle said on "Varney & Co." In a newly published phone call SBF claims, "reporters freak the f—- out if you donate to a Republican because they’re all super liberal." Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of FTX, says he donated equally to both Democratic and Republican politicians before his cryptocurrency platform filed for bankruptcy earlier this month, wiping out billions of dollars in customer deposits. And that fact is going to come as a real shock to right-wing political operatives on Fox News who’ve tried to claim Democrats were the only ones beholden to FTX cash. “I donated to both parties. I donated about the same amount...

When Twitter began suspending conservatives and others who voiced opinions that differed from the staff at Twitter, they essentially began creating a liberal social medial platform of conformity to ideas deemed worthy by whoever was checking posts. Thousands were suspended, including, of course, the President of the United States, and those who love the U.S. Constitution and free speech were horrified. Other platforms sprung up. But it was not enough to clear Twitter of opposing voices, libs banded together and the new platform Parler suffered at the hands of app stores. President Donald Trump launched his own Truth Social which...

The use of flash drives in the election process has been well documented. New evidence suggests that these flash drives aren’t used for reporting election results by the media. We first became aware of the use of flash drives during the 2020 Election when an individual in Milwaukee misplaced a flash drive and was forced to turn around and go get it at about the same time that 145,000 votes were recorded for Joe Biden only in the state. There were other reports on the misuse of flash drives and the related lack of controls that we shared over the...

The Chinese government is warning of an impending crackdown on protesters opposing the country’s “zero-COVID” approach to containing the coronavirus as protests spread. China’s Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission released a statement Tuesday saying it would “resolutely crack down on infiltration and sabotage activities by hostile forces” following rare protests that have become the largest in decades. The protesters are pushing back against China’s policy to try to keep the number of COVID-19 cases in the country to as close to zero as possible. This has led the government to consistently order widespread lockdowns throughout the pandemic, often for...

Around 8,000 soldiers of Fort Carson’s 4th Infantry Division (ID) were tear-gassed by mistake during a physical morale event Nov. 23, according to a spokesperson for the military base. U.S. Army recruits are routinely exposed to gas during basic training in order to experience the painful effects of the gas on their skin and eyes, Insider reported in 2020. Exposure for 4th ID troops deviated from standard training, however, when division leadership apparently did not inform soldiers of the use of tear gas prior to the event, Military.com reported. The division devised the large-scale event to simulate the Battle of...

The widow of slain El Monte Police Sgt. Michael Paredes and her attorney are scheduled to announce legal action against L.A. County District Attorney George Gascón and the county Tuesday over the sergeant's shooting death in June. The D.A. faced criticism following the shooting deaths of Paredes and Officer Joseph Santana in June after it was determined the gunman -- Justin William Flores -- was on probation for a weapon violation that critics contended should have landed him behind bars. "It is the D.A.'s responsibility to make sure that he is following his legal obligations and following the law," Paredes...

On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) accused President Joe Biden of lying when he claimed that a rail strike had been averted back in September and now is begging Congress to avert a strike and “take the bill up tomorrow when people have not even read it.” McCarthy said President Biden called the leaders to the White House because he “intentionally misled us. He said he had a rail strike solved…in September, when he knew that he didn’t want the American public to know before the election that he didn’t....

On Monday, election officials in two counties in the swing states of Arizona and Pennsylvania declined to certify the results of the midterm elections in their respective counties, potentially bringing overall certification to a halt for both states. ABC News reports that Republican election officials in Cochise County, Arizona and Luzerne County, Pennsylvania voted to reject their official certification measures. Cochise voted straight Republican on November 8th, supporting gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake and U.S. Senate candidate Blake Masters, while Luzerne County voted for Democratic gubernatorial nominee Josh Shapiro and Republican Senate nominee Dr. Mehmet Oz. The vote in Cochise County...

The November election is long over, but one item of business remains: a mysterious contribution from one of the top executives at FTX, the high-flying cryptocurrency exchange that recently declared bankruptcy after an old-fashioned run on the bank. The Oregonian reported that the contribution to the Democratic Party of Oregon Political Action Committee, the largest in the PAC’s history, was made in the name of a Las Vegas-based crypto startup called Prime Trust. But it actually came from Nishad Singh, director of engineering at FTX, and the DPO PAC didn’t correct the information until the paper called about it, The...
