When Twitter began suspending conservatives and others who voiced opinions that differed from the staff at Twitter, they essentially began creating a liberal social medial platform of conformity to ideas deemed worthy by whoever was checking posts. Thousands were suspended, including, of course, the President of the United States, and those who love the U.S. Constitution and free speech were horrified. Other platforms sprung up.
But it was not enough to clear Twitter of opposing voices, libs banded together and the new platform Parler suffered at the hands of app stores. President Donald Trump launched his own Truth Social which continues to this day.
Enter Elon Musk. Musk announced his plans to buy Twitter, and after a dance with the platform, took over and has been cleaning house of unnecessary, unconstitutional, and detrimental people and initiatives at warp speed.
One of those steps that Musk immediately took was addressing the suspended users, acknowledging that the platform was crippled by the partisan blocking of so many.

According to Platformer, Twitter has begun the process of reinstating roughly 62,000 accounts with more than 10,000 followers since Musk’s poll.

No wonder the left is having a fit. ‘How dare anyone allow the free flow of information’. Do they understand or are they too blind to see. I think the understand completely. 😎👍
It must have been a lot of fun for the libs to ban all those people. To silence an opposing voice with the click of a mouse is a liberals dream come true.
More like “The Holocaust II” for libs who think free speech is the greatest threat to democracy since private property.
"During a sit down with journalist Kara Swisher, ex-Twitter safety chief Yoel Roth said that despite concerns about the authenticity of the laptop story, it still did not reach a point where he wanted to remove the content—which was later censored anyway. Initial reporting suggested that Roth blocked user access from the October 2020 story, but the former Twitter division lead said the decision was not up to him." -FoxNews.com
Mine was cancelled for two years. I appealed after Musk took over. I got reinstated. They said they mistook my account as a bot or something. I forgot the exact word they thought I was. I joined Twitter almost immediately after they became a thing too. Lost all I was following for all those years.
Good. Now can we have Adam Schiffhead and Alyssa Milano banned, just for karmic principals?

Bull’s eye!
I quit when they banned Trump. He’s back if he wants it, so I opened a new account. It’s still boring and stupid, though.
There will still be many more accounts left to reinstate after Twitter restores the ones that have 10,000+ followers.
