Because mainstream media outlets have generally gone out of their way to shield Fetterman from criticism, the Washington Free Beacon has been forced to act unilaterally when it comes to exposing the truth about the Democratic candidate. Most journalists feel morally obligated to help Democrats win elections, which is why they have refused to cover what is perhaps the most shocking development of the 2022 election: Fetterman giving what appeared to be a Nazi salute at a campaign event earlier this week. Fetterman made the offensive gesture at a pro-abortion rally in Blue Bell. It's worth noting that early abortion...

Upending the political debate, Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham introduced a nationwide abortion ban Tuesday, sending shockwaves through both parties and igniting fresh debate on a fraught issue weeks before the midterm elections that will determine control of Congress. Graham’s own Republican Party leaders did not immediately embrace his abortion ban bill, which would prohibit the procedure after 15 weeks of pregnancy with rare exceptions, and has almost no chance of becoming law in the Democratic-held Congress. Democrats torched it as an alarming signal of where “MAGA” Republicans are headed if they win control of the House and Senate in November....

Idlib (Agenzia Fides) - Mass was celebrated in a church that had been closed for ten years. This happened in the province of Idlib, in an area still controlled by the anti-Assad Islamist militias. Permission to re-open the Christian place of worship and celebrate the Eucharistic liturgy in a serene and festive atmosphere was the same head of the jihadist faction that, in past years, had seized property and the houses of Christians as "spoils of war". This event is emblematic of the real situation experienced by the Christian communities in this region of Syria. On August 28, after a...

They look at what they’re seeing at the table. And inflation...

The ostensible premise of The Godfather, the film version of which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is that American society is so prejudiced against Italians that extraordinary men such as Vito and Michael Corleone have no choice but to turn to crime. In a way, then, author Mario Puzo was a kind of goombah Ibram X. Kendi, director Francis Ford Coppola the dago Ava DuVernay, and The Godfather the guinea 12 Years a Slave. If you doubt my claim, consider two scenes. In the first, Michael, back from hiding in Sicily, finally decides to get married (again) and so...

Russia’s budget surplus for 2022 has almost evaporated after a sharp drop in energy exports during August led to a monthly deficit of as much as Rbs360bn ($5.9bn). Russia recorded a surplus of almost Rbs500bn in the first seven months of the year. But the cumulative total fell to only Rbs137bn last month, suggesting a big deficit in August which economists attributed to sharp declines in oil and gas revenues.
