Pray For The Peace of JerusalemExodus 8The Plague of Gnats 16 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground,’ and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats.” 17 They did this, and when Aaron stretched out his hand with the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats came on people and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became gnats. 18 But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, they could not. Since the gnats were on people...

A federal grand jury has indicted an Illinois family of three siblings for conspiracy to kidnap and commit forced labor of two Guatemalan minors, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said on Thursday. The family, Domingo Francisco-Juan, Lorenza Domingo-Castaneda, and Catarina Domingo-Juan, who are also Guatemalan nationals, allegedly conspired to bring two minors from Guatemala to the United States to work at their homes between December 2015 and March 2021, according to the indictment. "The defendants compelled the victims to provide childcare, cooking, and cleaning within the homes and to work outside the homes in local hotels, factories, and a restaurant....

A religious school in Florida says it will only refer to students by their sex assigned at birth, while pupils who are gay, transgender or gender nonconforming "will be asked to leave the school immediately." NBC News obtained an email from Grace Christian School in Valrico, about 20 miles east of Tampa, sent before the beginning of the school year by Administrator Barry McKeen. The subject line of the email reads: "Important School Policy Point of Emphasis. ... Please Read." The June 6 correspondence to parents cited scripture and said that students will be referred to by the "gender on...

This is one border barrier President Biden doesn’t seem to mind spending extra time and money on. The under-construction security fence around the commander-in-chief’s beach house, thought to be scheduled for completion late last year, actually won’t be done until the spring of 2023 — while the cost to taxpayers has ballooned by nearly $35,000. The Department of Homeland Security initially doled out $456,548 in September 2021 to Delaware-based construction company Turnstone Holdings LLC for the purchase and installation of security fencing at Biden’s Rehoboth Beach home, according to USAspending.gov, an online database tracking federal outlays.

"McConnell is telling you now what people like me have been telling you for years — the GOP would rather lose to Democrats than lose control of the party to its base,” tweeted Steve Deace, an influential conservative talk show host. “That’s what ‘electable’ means — someone they approve of. Ditch would rather have [Arizona Democratic Sen. Mark] Kelly than [Republican challenger Blake] Masters, for example.” Fellow radio host John Fredericks also said McConnell “has given up because he doesn’t want Trump candidates to win.” “McConnell would rather lose the Senate than win with primary candidates he tried to knife....

As the top elected Republican in the country, Mitch McConnell has an obligation to immediately and dramatically improve his performance. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was asked yesterday about Republican prospects for the November elections. “I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate. Senate races are just different, they’re statewide, candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome,” McConnell replied. The media and others on the left were of course thrilled with the Republican leader’s “notable quotable” disparagement of Republican candidates and the voters who chose them, which somehow came off even worse...

With all the fanfare and foundry expansions around the signing of the $280 billion CHIPS and Science Act, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the semiconductor shortage will soon be over, and the US will emerge as a silicon powerhouse rivaling that of Taiwan's TSMC and South Korea's Samsung and SK Hynix. But that is a nationalist fantasy that proponents of the bill on both sides of the political aisle have peddled for well over a year, and one companies like Intel, Micron, and others have only been too happy to play into. The reality is the $52 billion in...

October 2020 admission gets fresh attention. At the height of the pandemic, the United Nations recruited over 100,000 “digital first responders’ to push the establishment narrative on COVID via social media. The revelation actually slipped out in October 2020 during a World Economic Forum podcast called ‘Seeking a cure for the infodemic’, although it is only going viral on Twitter today. In the podcast, Melissa Fleming, head of global communications for the United Nations, explains how the COVID pandemic and lockdowns created a “communications crisis” in addition to a public health emergency. Fleming acknowledged that in order to fight so-called...

The forty-two seconds of the Rumble video embedded below are truly shocking. Courageous journalist Sharly Attkisson testifies to a congressional hearing about the depths to which the FBI has sunk in its attempts to discredit one of its most effective critics. In case you don’t know, while she was working as a reporter for CBS, Ms. Attkisson’s work and home computers were invaded and taken over by the FBI, evidently because she had incurred their ire over her reporting. You can watch the CBS report on the incursion here: (youtube video at link, this is not the referenced Rumble video)...

A Pennsylvania judge ordered three counties to count undated mail ballots in their certified results for the primary election, breaking a standoff between those counties and the Department of State. “[T]he lack of a handwritten date on the declaration on the return envelope of a timely received absentee or mail-ballot does not support excluding those ballots from the Boards’ certified results under both Pennsylvania law and … the [federal] Civil Rights Act,” Commonwealth Court President Judge Renée Cohn Jubelirer wrote Friday. The ruling marked a significant victory for the state and proponents of counting undated mail ballots, as Cohn Jubelirer...

Gay Pride and other select LGBTQ events will be a target for monkeypox vaccine distribution as a new pilot program to stem the spread of the virus gets underway, U.S. health authorities said Thursday. A two-dose regime is planned for those deemed at risk. The federal government “is launching a pilot program that will provide up to 50,000 doses from the national stockpile to be made available for Pride and other events,” White House monkeypox response coordinator Bob Fenton told reporters at a special briefing.

Recent explosions deep behind Russia's lines in Crimea have had a major psychological effect on Moscow's leadership, with its invasion of Ukraine at 'near operational standstill', Western officials have said. More than half of the Russian navy's Black Sea Fleet combat jets were put out of action in blasts last week at the Russian-operated Saky military airfield in western Crimea, an area Moscow previously considered secure, according to Britain's Ministry of Defence (MoD).

A series of explosions rocked Crimea and a border region inside of Russia overnight, punctuating a new phase of the war in which Ukraine is targeting enemy bases and infrastructure deep behind the front line. An ammunition depot in Russia’s southern Belgorod region bordering Ukraine ignited late Thursday, the region’s governor wrote on his social-media pages. Around the same time, unverified videos on social media showed billowing clouds of smoke and fire in the city of Kadiivka in Ukraine’s eastern Luhansk region, which Russian forces captured in early July. Russian-installed authorities in Luhansk said Ukrainian forces had struck the city...

A brutal unprovoked assault from behind by Bui Van Phu was made on Jesus Cortes as he was leaving a diner in New York City. Originally charged with attempted murder by the arresting officers, his offense was downgraded by the Bronx District Attorney to a misdemeanor. This made Phu eligible for release without bail, which Judge Giyang An promptly ordered. Mr. Cortes' skull was fractured. He is currently in a coma with bleeding on the brain at the hospital. The victim's sister, Veronica Cortes expressed disgust and anger with the quick release of the assailant, saying "that kind of person...
