A 73-year-old woman was stabbed by a 100-pound sailfish while fishing with some friends off the Florida coast. The fish impaled Katherine Perkins, of Arnold, Maryland, in the groin area with its pointed bill on Tuesday while she was standing in the boat as two companions tried to bring it in on a fishing line. Her friends immediately applied pressure to her wound and called 911 as they headed towards shore, where she was then flown to nearby HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital for treatment. While her current condition remains unknown, Perkins was said to be in the hospital recovering on...

These women just marched right into the land of make believe. The Women’s March Twitter page literally just tweeted that “abortion is safer than giving birth.” And no, they weren’t being sarcastic: This is the furthest thing from true that I’ve read in a while. During an abortion at least one person dies. That is NOT safe whatsoever. Abortion results in 100 percent infant mortality and many women are also harmed during an abortion as well. According to the CDC, 5.4 infants die per 1,000 live births. While 5.4 is still 5.4 too many, based on the stats, it is...

Judicial Watch revealed recently that the Biden Administration was still sending billions of US taxpayer dollars to Afghanistan. The Biden regime is also preventing an audit of their actions. It’s been almost a year now since Joe Biden and the US Military surrendered to the Taliban terrorists. Joe Biden, General Milley and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are still in power. As part of the surrender, Joe Biden armed the Taliban with nearly $80 billion in US weapons and left thousands of Americans stranded in the country to fend for themselves. The White House and Pentagon have never admitted to how...

Heavy fighting has been taking place in the last 48 hours as Ukrainian forces continued their offensive against Russia in Kherson province, west of the Dnipro River, British military intelligence said on Saturday. Russian forces are using artillery fire along the Ingulets River, a tributary of the Dnipro, the UK's Ministry of Defence said. "Supply lines of the Russian forces west of the river are increasingly at risk," the ministry said in an intelligence update. It added that additional Ukrainian strikes have caused further damage to the key Antonivsky Bridge, though Russia has conducted temporary repairs.

CNN senior legal analyst Laura Coates guest hosted Friday’s edition of Don Lemon Tonight where she and her guests hyped California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s “trolling” of the Supreme Court and Texas on the issue of gun control. Coates portrayed the law as similar to Texas’s “bounty” law before reporting the ACLU opposes the California law and asking fellow legal analyst Areva Martin, “I'm wondering from your perspective, first, is that right to you? And will these so-called bounty laws, will this really undermine, maybe fatally, the power of the judiciary to intervene and weigh in?” Martin did not answer the...

YouTube has updated its policies to restrict certain kinds of supposed misinformation about abortion, as pro-abortion pressure on tech companies continues. YouTube will now remove content around the world that supposedly “‘promotes or provides instructions’ for unsafe or alternative abortion methods not supported by science or approved by medical professionals,” Axios reported Thursday. It is unclear whether information about pro-life alternatives such as pregnancy centers, which some leftists have dubbed “anti-abortion fake clinics,” will fall under this new rule. Axios said that YouTube will also start removing supposedly “false claims” about abortion, including evidence linking abortion to infertility or cancer....

On Saturday morning, during the heatwave that swept the East Coast, a new electrically powered public transportation bus caught on fire as it sat in the bus parking lot, according to fire officials. The Hamden Fire Department was dispatched to the CT Transit bus depot in order to extinguish the fire that had spread throughout the electric bus. According to the authorities, the lithium-ion battery was responsible for the fire that broke out on the electric bus. “Lithium-ion battery fires are difficult to extinguish due to the thermal chemical process that produces great heat and continually reignites,” the fire officials...

As reported earlier by We Love Trump a Chinese company recently paid $2.6 million for 300 acres of farmland in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The parcel of land’s location near a US Air Force base that houses sensitive drone technology has lawmakers on Capitol Hill worried about potential espionage by Beijing. The Chinese firm Fufeng Group recently purchased 300 acres of farmland in North Dakota just down the road from a US Air Force base that houses sensitive drone technology near Grand Forks. The farmland is just a 20-minute drive to the Grand Forks Air Force Base. The Fufeng Group...

For the second weekend in a row, Politico’s Sam Stein guest hosted MSNBC’s Velshi. On this Saturday, Stein accused pro-lifers in Kansas of “essentially trick their citizens into voting away their own rights” on an upcoming ballot measure on August 2. Stein went to commercial teasing the future segment with all the hyperbole that one expects from MSNBC, “It’s been just one month since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and the legal chaos continues to cause fallout with life or death consequences for people who need reproductive healthcare across the country. Coming up we’ll take you to one...

At the end of Act 1 of Richard Strauss’ 1919 opera “Die Frau ohne Schatten” (“The Woman Without a Shadow”), a poor woman putters about her dimly lit hovel preparing dinner for her husband, a dyer. No sooner have the fish begun to fry than she hears the hut fill with the sounds of her unborn children. “Mother, mother, let us into the house!” they cry, unseen but palpably present. “The door is locked and we can’t get in.” The Dyer’s Wife (in spite of being one of the opera’s most important characters, she has no other name) is horrified,...

BeyondWords Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk’s alleged affair with the wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin prompted the couple’s divorce earlier this year, according to a report published Sunday. The Wall Street Journal reported that Brin, who along with Larry Page co-founded Google in 1998, filed for divorce from his wife of nearly four years, Nicole Shanahan, in January just weeks after learning that she had a brief affair with Musk in December.

My father was a Korean Vet and passed away several weeks ago. He was buried with military honors so I bought a nice, 5x9 display case. Unfortunately the flag is too thick on one end to put the back on the display case. Was thinking about a couple options but open to other ideas. First, contact the local VFW and see if they can refold it so it sits flatter and doesn't have a lump on one corner or try pressing the flag with a couple boards and some books. I checked the box that the case came in and...

This essay by David Stevenson of the Caesar Rodney Institute Center for Energy & Environment appeared in May, but I just ran across it today. It analyzes data from the PJM electrical grid, America’s largest, between 2019 and 2021. This comparison of actual regional grid carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions between 2019 and 2021 shows increased use of wind and solar did not reduce emissions. Wind and solar electric generation are actually poor technologies no one would use without permanent government mandates and massive subsidies and taxes that are adding $1 billion a year in power cost. They are also unreliable,...

Former President Donald Trump called on Congress to investigate the “anti-American” practice of censorship rampant across America’s corporations and big tech platforms.Trump’s comments came during Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit on Saturday in Tampa, Florida. Trump said:But I’ll talk about the next critical fight we need is for your energy to be put behind the battle to restore free speech in America. We have canceled culture we have fake news media that reports certain news incorrectly. He also called out...

The Chinese military has become significantly more aggressive and dangerous over the past five years, the top U.S. military officer said during a trip to the Indo-Pacific that included a stop Sunday in Indonesia. U.S. Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the number of intercepts by Chinese aircraft and ships in the Pacific region with U.S. and other partner forces has increased significantly over that time, and the number of unsafe interactions has risen by similar proportions. “The message is the Chinese military, in the air and at sea, have become significantly more and noticeably...

This has nothing to do with "climate change". The real reason why Nero is setting Rome on fire is because his ego was touched when Trump walked away from the nuclear deal with Iran, wants to end the centrality of the US Dollar in Global Financial System so no future US President can impose sanctions on Iran again By Ezequiel Doiny In 2015 Obama signed the nuclear deal with Iran. On July 14 , 2015, Daniel Greenfield wrote in Frontpage Magazine that Obama signed the nuclear deal with Iran to cripple American power in the Middle East: …Obama did not...

Dinosaurs once roamed the earth. They were the kings of the land. That’s why paleontologists have been studying these majestic creatures to see how they lived. They have come across interesting discoveries that have left them stunned. While so much has already been discovered, they have recently come across the fact that these large reptiles may have had belly buttons. This is new information and one that they’re looking into more. How is that possible when these creatures laid eggs? More about the Mystery Credit must be given to an ‘incredible’ fossil that the paleontologists found. Because of this, they...
