A beauty YouTuber has claimed that she was forced to carry her dead fetus inside of her for two weeks after Texas doctors refused to remove it because they said she needed 'additional evidence' to prove it didn't have a heartbeat amid abortion bans in the state. Marlena Stell, 42, from Houston, recalled being ecstatic when she learned that she and her husband, Ab DeSilva, were expecting their second child together last year. However, the makeup guru's excitement soon turned to heartbreak when she found out around nine weeks into the pregnancy that she had tragically lost the baby. She...

Joe Biden has COVID. Yesterday, he decided to abscond to Massachusetts to deliver remarks about his climate agenda. Biden issued more executive orders on global warming and led by example by mobilizing his gas-guzzling motorcade for this event. First, we must save the planet, but let me burn a ton of gas to get to the location to make such an announcement. He could have delivered this address from the Rose Garden. Yet, that's not the story. No one cares because today, Biden tested positive for COVID. He got it. I thought this was a pandemic of the unvaccinated, Joe?...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court won’t allow the Biden administration to implement a policy that prioritizes deportation of people in the country illegally who pose the greatest public safety risk. The court’s order Thursday leaves the policy frozen nationwide for now. The vote was 5-4 with conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett joining liberal Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson in saying they would have allowed the Biden administration to put in place the guidance. The court also announced it would hear arguments in the case, saying they would be in late November. The guidance, issued after...

A Boston subway train caught fire on a bridge Thursday morning, causing chaos as commuters escaped through windows and one straphanger resorted to jumping into the river below. Wild video taken from inside the train showed passengers climbing through windows of the train and fleeing onto the tracks. Footage from the tracks also shows passengers-turned-good Samaritans catching one another as they jumped out the windows with smoke billowing around them. --snip-- The Orange Line train on Boston’s MBTA system was traveling over the Mystic River when it burst into flames just before 7 a.m., the Globe reported. Local authorities said...

Explanation: Imaged on July 15 2022, comet C/2017 K2 (PanSTARRS) had a Messier moment, sharing this wide telescopic field of view with globular star cluster Messier 10. Of course M10 was cataloged by 18th century comet hunter Charles Messier as the 10th object on his list of things that were definitely not comets. While M10 is about 14 thousand light-years distant, this comet PanSTARRS was about 15 light-minutes from our fair planet following its July 14 closest approach. Its greenish coma and dust tail entertaining 21st century comet watchers, C/2017 K2 is expected to remain a fine telescopic comet in...

Cubans Reproach Pope Francis: Spoke of his Human Relationship with Castro, Remains Silent as Cubans Face TortureThe Assembly of the Cuban Resistance, a platform of opposition organizations from inside and outside the island, wrote Tuesday to Pope Francis to express “surprise and pain” for his recent statements on Cuba and ask him to mediate in favor of the Cuban people. Not the “regime.”“From this letter, we inform you that the Cuban people will not accept a fraudulent change, will not accept an agreement behind their backs that guarantees permanence and stability to the regime in exchange for the freedoms and...

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Thursday that it doesn’t matter where President Biden contracted COVID-19, and that the most important thing is that he was fully vaccinated and double boosted. Biden tested positive for COVID-19 Thursday morning and is experiencing mild symptoms, including a runny nose, occasional dry cough and fatigue, the White House said. Reporters asked Dr. Ashish Jha, White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, during a press briefing where Biden may have caught the virus. After Jha said he didn’t know, Jean-Pierre interjected to say it’s not important. "Look, I don't think that that matters, right? I...

According to a financial disclosure, Paul purchased 20,000 shares of Nvidia on June 17, one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies that designs and manufactures graphics processors and other technology, and is heavily reliant on semiconductors. Pelosi got defensive when a reporter asked her if her husband has ever made stock trades based on information she was able to provide him. “No, absolutely not” the speaker shot back before she stormed off. Sounds like a similar scenario to how President Joe Biden has demanded he has “never” discussed his son’s business dealings with him.

Just weeks ago, Ukraine’s military was being pummeled relentlessly in the East, taking heavy casualties as it slowly gave ground to the Russian advance. Western support appeared to be softening, amid skepticism that Ukraine could win a war of attrition, or that an influx of sophisticated weapons would turn the tide. Through it all, the Ukrainians’ message to the world did not change: We can win. Our strategy is working, if slowly. Just keep the weapons coming. No one can say yet whether Ukraine might prevail against an invading Russian military with superior numbers and weaponry — or even what...

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) claimed on Thursday her fixation with former President Donald Trump is not political. In an interview with the New York Times, Cheney alleged her alliance with Democrats on the partisan January 6 commission to attack Trump is not political but rather educational. “I don’t look at it through a political lens,” she claimed about her work on the committee. “I look at it through the angle of: People need to understand how dangerous he is and how unfit for office he is.” Cheney, who has received praise from Democrats for joining them in combatting Trump, is...

SAN BRUNO, Calif. (AP) — YouTube will begin removing misleading videos about abortion in response to falsehoods being spread about the procedure that is being banned or restricted across a broad swath of the U.S. The move announced Thursday by the Google-owned video site comes about a month after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the case that had protected the legality of abortion in the country for nearly 50 years. YouTube said its crackdown will expunge content promoting unsafe at-home abortions, as well as misinformation about the safety of undergoing the procedure in clinics located in states...

The abortion pill (mifepristone) was first approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on September 28, 2000, in a regimen with another drug called misoprostol. Shortly after the abortion pill was approved, women began dying.* In years since its approval (between 2000 and 2018), the abortion pill has ended the lives of nearly four million preborn children and has caused thousands of serious adverse effects. How the abortion pill came to the United States In 1992, Ron Weddington — a co-counsel for the plaintiff in Roe v. Wade and the ex-husband of Roe attorney Sarah Weddington — wrote an...

I was there when the United States military was great, when it inspired fear instead of laughter, when it smashed whole armies in a hundred hours instead of letting a bunch of seventh-century freaks drive it out of a country that would have to work up to join the Third World. The American armed forces had a culture of winning then; it now has a culture of not only losing but of turning on its own, destroying itself through social justice nonsense, and rejecting the warrior ethos. Predictably, the normal, patriotic Americans who traditionally answer the call to the colors...

What does a president do when Congress won’t pass the legislation he wants? Grab a pen and try to cram it through via executive order, apparently—at least if that president’s name is Joe Biden.Congress just shut down Biden’s hopes of passing major legislation intended to address climate change through massive taxpayer spending, subsidies, and regulations. But the president isn’t giving up. Rather, the White House is planning on issuing several executive orders taking unilateral action to supposedly halt climate change. And the president is even reportedly considering declaring a “climate emergency” to unlock more emergency powers Biden could use to...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — According to sources within the White House, Kamala Harris is once again losing another staff member as her top aide is leaving the administration after taking a new job. Sabrina Singh, Harris' current deputy press secretary and main speechwriter, has been poached by Sesame Street to write speeches for them instead. "I'm at a point in my career where I need to grow and be challenged and that's not going to happen here with Vice President Harris. I want to move into the big leagues and start writing for legends like Big Bird, and Bert and Ernie,"...

Hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing California for states like Texas and Florida, but it's not always easy to adjust to life in an American state. Let's look at the 10 biggest adjustments fleeing Californians have to make in their new states: Strange wet stuff falls from the sky once in a while. Try not to drive your car into a pole when this happens. Take a deep breath. You will get through it. People don't say "The" in front of highway names. If you're driving on I-10 in Texas, you'll feel the urge to say "The 10," but...
