A group of Republican lawmakers is demanding the Committee on Oversight and Reform investigate the “extremely troubling” election fraud allegations made in the documentary “2000 Mules.” “The film documents activities that raise serious questions about potential widespread coordinated efforts to illegally harvest and cast votes,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) states in a letter sent to Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) on Wednesday, which was provided exclusively to Townhall. Reps. Andrew Clyde (R-GA), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Mary Miller (R-IL), Debbie Lesko (R-AZ), Randy Weber (R-TX), Pete Sessions (R-TX), Byron Donalds (R-FL), Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC), Rep. Researchers have found that a popular soup, bak kut teh, has the potential to cause liver failure by clashing with prescription medication. "Our team studied the recipes of four locally purchased packet mixes of bak kut teh, otherwise known as meat bone tea," said Professor Roger Byard. "When mixed with liver cells, the ingredients killed up to 83% in one concentrated soup formula. "People have been warned for some time that herbal medicines and therapies may have harmful side effects that can include significant liver damage. In rare cases this has required transplantation and even led to death. "For the...

ATLANTA (AP) — Republican Herschel Walker’s $6.2 million in fundraising looked impressive when unveiled Wednesday, until Democrat Raphael Warnock rolled out his $17.2 million total a half-hour later. The dueling Senate campaign numbers underlined two truths. Georgia is again going to be one of the most expensive races to run for office in 2022, and Democrats are building a strong fundraising advantage. Like Warnock, Democrat Stacey Abrams heavily outraised incumbent Republican Brian Kemp in the race for governor, collecting almost $50 million compared to the $31 million Kemp has brought in over a longer period. Abrams and Warnock plan to...

A Columbus man has been charged with impregnating a 10-year-old Ohio girl, whose travel to Indiana to seek an abortion led to international attention following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade and activation of Ohio's abortion law. Gershon Fuentes, 27, whose last known address was an apartment on Columbus' Northwest Side, was arrested Tuesday after police say he confessed to raping the child on at least two occasions. He's since been charged with rape, a felony of the first degree in Ohio. Columbus police were made aware of the girl's pregnancy through a referral by Franklin County...

Inequality is not the same as unfairness. For example, small children are not the equals of adults. There is no unfairness in that. On the contrary, try to imagine the disaster that would ensue if three-year-old children were expected to earn their own living. True, we are all equal in many respects, particularly in regard to our God-given rights (which are different from the contrived rights invented by the social left). But there are also many inherent inequalities among people — so many as to make it obvious that we cannot reasonably hope for equal outcomes. This is patently true...

Harrison Ford has played some of the most memorable and iconic characters in the history of cinema. Han Solo, Indiana Jones and Rick Deckard in the Bladerunner films despite making their first screen appearances, decades ago, and still remain audience favorites. In addition to the Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Blade Runner series, Ford has starred in many hugely successful films, such as The Fugitive, Air Force One, Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger. But the downside of superstardom is that some among Ford’s efforts were dwarfed, not because of their lack of eminence, but because of the tendency...

UPDATE6:41 PM PT -- LeBron is following up on his comment regarding Griner ... saying it wasn't meant to "knock" America, but an attempt at understanding how she's feeling throughout her incarceration. "My comments on 'The Shop' regarding Brittney Griner wasn’t knocking our beautiful country," LeBron tweeted minutes ago. "I was simply saying how she’s probably feeling emotionally along with so many other emotions, thoughts, etc inside that cage she’s been in for over 100+ days!" "Long story short #BringHerHome" LeBron James says Brittney Griner's been in captivity for way too long without the U.S. bringing her home, so if...

An Ohio pro-life organization has been attacked twice since the overturning of Roe v. Wade last month by the US Supreme Court as some heated pro-choice supporters have targeted many centers across the country. Executive director of the Right to Life of Northeast Ohio, Allie Frazer, told Fox News the center was targeted immediately following the overturning of Roe on June 24 and again on July 8. 'As pro-lifers, we know what our work might cost us something and that very well could be our physical safety,' Frazier said. 'I think that it's important in moments like this for the...

WASHINGTON — Stanford University law professor Pamela Karlan, best known for her 2019 testimony in favor of impeaching then-President Donald Trump, quietly left the Justice Department this month as a conservative group ratcheted up attacks on an “unethical” arrangement in which she continued to earn nearly $1 million a year from Stanford while working for the government. Karlan joined the department on Feb. 8, 2021, shortly after President Biden’s inauguration, and served about 17 months as principal deputy assistant attorney general for civil rights before she departed on July 1 with little fanfare. Karlan’s role was slated to last until...

(NASA, ESA, CSA, and STScI) This morning we were in a frenzy over a sneaky side-glimpse of a galaxy revealed in the first full-color James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) images. But if you thought that was wild, then wait for this: it turns out JWST has also dropped some stealthy images of Jupiter! And they're ridiculously beautiful. These images, taken while JWST was being tested, were provided in the JWST commissioning report. umm who else saw this in the commissioning report document?? 😍😍😍😍🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯https://t.co/AzwQCf6rat pic.twitter.com/nq13fxdsAM — Erin M. It's totally not strange at all that numerous legacy media firms and craptivists who declared Desantis worse than Adolf Hitler due to his COVID response all of a sudden are heaping praise on him. This ain't my first rodeo. I know shenanigans when I see 'em.

Republican pollster Rick Shaftan is like a lot of political junkies: He looks to his mother for hints on what real America is thinking. Lately, their talks have been about former President Donald Trump and whether he should run again. SNIP Of course, Trump does make some news, but it's mostly complaining about the 2020 election results and cheering on some 140 GOP candidates he has endorsed for 2022 who have won so far. SNIP “It’s actually even worse than it appears for Trump,” said Shaftan, whose new poll shows a dramatic drop in support for Trump in Iowa and...

Insufferable NeverTrumper Bill Kristol should know by now that putting dumb inflation hot takes on Twitter minutes before devastating economic news is released doesn’t return dividends. Kristol tweeted at 8:00 a.m. a laundry list of predictions he claimed were “[s]traightforward from here.” One of his crystal ball items he mentioned was: “Inflation subsides.” That prediction only had a shelf life of about 30 minutes. The Bureau of Labor Statistics released a report at 8:30 a.m. revealing that inflation had skyrocketed a whopping 9.1 percent year-over-year in June for the fastest pace since December 1981, wiping out Dow Jones expectations of...

Amid the restructuring of the global order that has been accelerated by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the evolving position of China had been lost in the fog of war. The heads of the UK’s security service (MI5) and US Federal Bureau of Investigation sought to disperse this fog with a rare joint press conference warning of the “immense threat” from China. For China, the invasion of Ukraine has provided substantial intelligence about how the west would respond militarily, economically and politically to a Chinese invasion of Taiwan: they know that the western response will entail a large package of sanctions, cyber...

Leftist outlets warning about potential data privacy infringements for those seeking abortions pushed for the surrender of people’s privacy when it came to COVID-19. MRC Free Speech America found at least eight major publications that seemed to have respective major epiphanies on the importance of data privacy. Once the news broke that the U.S. Supreme Court would — and eventually did — overturn the infamous pro-abortion Roe v. Wade (1973) decision, liberal outlets like The Washington Post, The New York Times, BuzzFeed News and Fortune went into apparent shock and hypocritically warned about Big Tech’s threat to women’s abortion-related data...
