Insufferable NeverTrumper Bill Kristol should know by now that putting dumb inflation hot takes on Twitter minutes before devastating economic news is released doesn’t return dividends.
Kristol tweeted at 8:00 a.m. a laundry list of predictions he claimed were “[s]traightforward from here.” One of his crystal ball items he mentioned was: “Inflation subsides.” That prediction only had a shelf life of about 30 minutes. The Bureau of Labor Statistics released a report at 8:30 a.m. revealing that inflation had skyrocketed a whopping 9.1 percent year-over-year in June for the fastest pace since December 1981, wiping out Dow Jones expectations of an 8.8 percent increase, according to CNBC.
But Kristol wasn’t alone in pumping out terrible takes on inflation before the news broke

Real inflation is actually more than 15% but the Bureau of Labor Statistics changed the way they measure inflation. All federal agencies have been weaponized to help democrats retain power. The US federal government, led by the Quisling Puppet Biden and his Gaystapo FBI are the greatest threat to freedom loving citizens throughout the world.
The globalists will do all they can, by any means necessary, to keep the America hating Democrats in power.
As a young man, Kristols father was a trotskyist /marxist who was against Stalin and part of a group who were disillusioned with the Soviet Union and its brutality.
Despite whatever wikipedia or others may claim, it did not mean he other neocons automatically became a small government, free-market libertarians.
Since spreading “liberalism” around the globe is the crux of modern neocon ideology, they need strong central government and a war-state to achieve that.
What’s left for the execretable Kristol other than try to land a date with AOC?

The published CPI numbers are backward looking. Oil price is the main driver of inflation right now. Oil peaked in late June at 123 and now it’s in the mid 90s and falling. So yes, inflation growth is easing.
