The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today released results from a recent statewide survey done in Oregon that shows Democrats’ decade-long trifecta in the state is vulnerable ahead of November. The recent polling reveals legislative Republicans are in a strong position, as voters are feeling overwhelmed by the rising cost of living and skyrocketing crime in Oregon and want their legislatures to push back against President Biden’s failing agenda. The survey, which was conducted by Cygnal, found: Only 36% of Oregonians believe their state is headed on the right track compared to the 58% who believe it is on the...

"And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him." "For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of...

Megan Kelly was interviewing former Gambino family underboss turned FBI informant Salvatore 'Sammy the Bull' Gravano when she shared with him the breaking news of Caan's death yesterday. Gravano then claimed that Caan, 82, was connected to the mob and was present when the actor allegedly asked Colombo family boss Joe Colombo for permission to star as Sonny Corleone in The Godfather. 'He was in the mob,' Gravano told a confused Kelly. 'James Caan was in — was hooked in with the mob.' 'I was there when he came down and asked permission to be in that movie. I was...

Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes is pushing for a chance to publicly testify before the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack as it prepares to review the role extremist groups played in the riot. Rhodes, the leader of the far-right militia group, is incarcerated and awaiting trial on seditious conspiracy charges that carry up to 20 years in prison. “He’s willing to speak directly with the January 6 Select Committee. He has a few what I consider to be extremely reasonable conditions to be met,” his attorney James Lee Bright told The Hill. Bright said Rhodes...

WASHINGTON - Vowing to continue the fight against last month’s Supreme Court overruling of the 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade that made abortion legal nationwide, President Biden signed an executive order on Friday that would push back against Republican efforts to limit reproductive choice. He also denounced those he described as "Republican extremists," who want not only to restrict abortion in individual states but also to enact a nationwide abortion ban. “This is not some imagined horror, it’s already happening,” Biden said from the White House. He was flanked by Vice President Kamala Harris and Health and Human Services...

Abe’s own grandfather, Prime Minister Nobusuke Kishi, was stabbed in the thigh in 1960 and severely injured during a reception at the Prime Minister’s Office. That same year, Inejiro Asanuma, then head of the Japan Socialist Party, was fatally stabbed by a 17-year-old rightist while making a speech at a public hall in Hibiya, Tokyo. In the years that followed, Prime Minister Takeo Miki, Deputy Prime Minister Shin Kanemaru and Prime Minister Morihiro Hokosawa were either attacked or shot in 1975, 1992 and 1994, respectively. They all survived the attacks. Local-level politicians have also been attacked. In 1990 — two...

The RINOs are at it again. For years now, the Republican establishment has attempted in bad faith to manipulate President Trump and reduce his immense popularity among conservatives in order to maintain their power while stifling Trump’s America First agenda and policies. This Fifth Column in the GOP continues to suck away at President Trump’s time, money, resources, and support, while offering Trump and the MAGA movement nothing in return. One of the worst offenders in this regard is Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler of Missouri, who is now running for the U.S. Senate. Big League Politics has previously reported on Congresswoman...

Stock market values have collapsed 20% this year compared to last. Many 401K and defined contribution pension plans have retirement benefits, or some portion, pegged to stock values. When those plans start registering their stock losses, there will be some decline in pension benefits for some segment of retireees. As that takes place that demographic will make adjustments including reduced spending in some areas. While that will be somewhat deflationary, it will also support an advancing recession. Together that could complicate some expected additional Fed Reserve rate increase(s). Its all a hot mess. In 2009, my Pension benefit lost $400+...

We're now a little over a month away from the Wyoming primary, in which Rep. Liz Cheney will face Harriet Hageman, a challenger backed by former President Donald Trump. As Harry Enten highlighted for CNN on Thursday, Cheney "is in a lot of trouble." Some local outlets in Wyoming have criticized the polling is out there, which Enten acknowledges is limited. He does offer what's out there is "illuminative," including a larger academic survey that asks how constituents feel about their member of Congress: Polling from Wyoming is limited, but what does exist paints an ominous picture. The Cooperative Election...

The hard lesson that suburban parents learned in 2021 is despite the Democrats and the media blame game — and despite the GOP’s hand-wringing — Trump was not the cause of the omnipresent American Culture War. Yes, he answered nearly every call to battle, but rarely did he instigate any major cultural conflicts. Perhaps to moderates and McConnell’s great surprise, in schools, professional sports, playgrounds, city halls, amusement parks, and entertainment companies across the country, the culture war has continued in his absence. In many places, it’s even heated up. That’s why suburban parents from all types of political, religious,...

A major outage of mobile and internet networks caused widespread disruptions across Canada on Friday, affecting banks, police emergency lines and customers in the second outage to hit one of the country’s biggest telecom providers in 15 months. Customers gathered at coffee shops and public libraries to access alternate networks, while financial institutions reported problems with everything from automated machines to cashless payment systems. Rogers Communications said its technical teams were working to restore services as quickly as possible. The outage is likely to add to concerns about competition in the industry that is dominated by Rogers. The company, which...

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. Border Patrol agents on horseback engaged in “unnecessary use of force” against non-threatening Haitian immigrants but didn’t whip any with their reins “intentionally or otherwise,” according to a federal investigation of chaotic scenes along the Texas-Mexico border last fall that sparked widespread condemnation. In a 511-page report released Friday, Customs and Border Protection blamed a “lack of command control and communication” for mounted agents using their horses to forcibly block and move migrants during an influx of Haitians arriving last September at the U.S. border outside Del Rio, Texas. “We’re gonna learn from this incident and...

Republican state lawmakers in Ohio were reportedly sent fecal matter through the mail, sparking a federal criminal investigation. All 25 GOP members of the Ohio state Senate were recently sent "envelopes full of feces," according to a Thursday report from The Columbus Dispatch. The origin of the unwelcome deliveries, which the Republicans received on Thursday morning, is being investigated by the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), the law enforcement arm of the United States Postal Service (USPS). Ohio Senate Republican Caucus spokesman John Fortney told the newspaper that the still-unknown party that sent the envelopes were "pathetic, little cowards,"...

MORTON’S SPEAKS UP The harassment of conservative Supreme Court justices manifested at Morton’s in the District of Columbia on Wednesday evening. While Justice Kavanaugh ate dinner at the downtown steakhouse, protesters were tipped to his presence. The protesters showed up out front, called the Morton’s manager to tell him to kick Justice Kavanaugh out, and later tweeted that the justice was forced to exit through the rear of the restaurant. In response to to a request from Politico for comment, the Supreme Court offered nothing on the justice’s behalf. Morton’s, however, was not so shy. A spokesman for Morton’s sent...

Precious metals expert and former auditor lifts the lid on the scale of regulatory malfeasances common among big banks with the tacit approval of the government in the paper Gold market, Commodities Exchange (COMEX). The physical supply of real Gold is small in comparison to the derivative products and when there is a crisis (as we see all these crisis on the horizon) and people run to Gold and Silver they won't run to the derivative product because that can't be converted to real Gold and Silver. Derivative markets are not real markets you need physical Gold.

Intriguing new research has pinpointed a special population of T cells—tissue-resident memory T cells—as key players in the development of chronic autoimmune disorders that affect the central nervous system, opening a new window of understanding into conditions such as multiple sclerosis and many others. Tissue-resident memory T cells—technically known as CD8+ TRM cells—are also more familiarly called squatters, or squatting T cells. As the latter name implies, these cells are squatters in specific sites throughout the body, lifelong residents in tissues they are supposed to protect. But researchers writing in Science Translational Medicine are revealing how these cells, critical constituents...
