"And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me. " "For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to...

The Volcanic Eifel is a peaceful region in western Germany. For hundreds of thousands of years, volcanic forces raged here, before settling down. But could these natural forces reawaken?Today's Volcanic Eifel was formed from cooled lava and volcanic ash. But deep below the surface, the earth is still bubbling. In fact, there are many indications that the rumbling underground is actually hot magma making its way to the Earth’s surface. How great is the danger of another eruption here in the Eifel, by far the youngest volcanic area in Central Europe? On the shores of the region’s Laacher See, a special...

Hundreds of slave laborers at Amazon’s sweatshop facilities have signed an open letter calling on the e-commerce behemoth to immediately cease all business operations in pro-life states so people will have “time to grieve.”

Lightning strikes! Inflation has been a disaster for millions of Americans. As inflation grows (highest in 40 years), fears of recession are jolting markets. The Dow today is down 2%. Then again, Europe is down even more. My favorite chart for explaining the surge in inflation is M1 Money Stock around the Covid outbreak in early 2020. Which has NOT been removed. No, this is not a real ECB currency, but it might as well be.

Russia is poised to temporarily shut down the European Union’s single biggest piece of gas import infrastructure, stoking fears of a delayed or only partial return of gas supplies. Some fear the Kremlin could use planned maintenance works to turn off the taps for good. “If it doesn’t come back after maintenance because President Putin plays games or wants to hit Europe while it hurts, then the plan to fill up gas storage by the end of summer will probably not work,” said Eurasia Group’s Henning Gloystein.

Joe Biden is celebrating July 4th with a massive expansion of the IRS. How better to celebrate the colonists who chased British tax collectors out than by replacing them with Biden's tax collectors. But every progressive person knows that Independence Day is for extremists. The dream of the new post-national nation is Co-Dependence Day in which we all live happily together in a planned economy.

The Euro fell to its lowest level in two decades on Tuesday as fears of a recession in the euro zone ramped up, with gas prices soaring and the Ukraine war showing no signs of abating...The Dollar's strength continues, meanwhile, as risk-averse investors seek a safe haven, and the U.S. Federal Reserve embarks upon what looks to be an aggressive rate hike regime.

Iran’s Quds Force, which the Biden White House has reportedly discussed removing from the terrorism list, has more than a hundred active agents operating inside the United States, according to former U.S. and Iranian intelligence officials. Their current goal is to penetrate the security perimeter surrounding former President Donald J. Trump and to kill him. The Iranian plot is not a secret: Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamene’I, boasted in January that Iranian agents inside the United States were tracking the former president’s movements, and could penetrate the security systems protecting him. That boast appeared in the form of a...

Obergefell, like Roe, was a particularly arbitrary, extreme, and unjust imposition on the people. Like Roe, it had no basis in the Constitution’s text or American custom. It was simply dreamed up by a group of unelected judges who decided the time had come for them to impose a radically new understanding of the most fundamental institution of human society. Like Roe, Obergefell took away from the people the power to decide the most basic moral questions and daily life in their communities. As Justice Scalia put it at the time, the Court was violating “a principle even more fundamental...

On June 23, 2022, the US and other western states gathered in Geneva, Switzerland, UN headquarters along with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, to collect voluntary contributions for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). UN Watch, a UN watchdog organization also based in Geneva, chaired by Alfred H. Moses and run by Executive Director Hillel Neuer, urged western democracies to stop funding hundreds of UNRWA teachers and other employees who call to murder Jews. In a new 42-page report, the independent non-governmental organization (NGO) UN Watch, “Exposed antisemitism and incitement to terrorism propagated recently by 10...

Masters is such an arrogant candidate, constantly bragging about his youth and bashing the other candidates over their age (Brnovich is Gen X), he doesn’t care what damage his mouth is doing. He needlessly turned off black conservatives by declaring that “it’s black people, frankly” who are responsible for shootings. In reality, expanded homicide statistics from the FBI for single victim/single offender cases show that of around 6,500 murders in 2019, 3,218 people were killed by black offenders while 2,948 were killed by white offenders and 874 were killed by Hispanic or Latino offenders. To pin the blame solely on...

This is one of the letters in the article: The ConstitutionBy Yeonmi Park I read the Constitution for the first time when I finally made it from North Korea to South Korea. I was studying English, and collecting letters of recommendation in the hopes that I would win a visa and be able to travel across the ocean to America. Even with my broken English, I teared up reading the sentences. I didn’t know then what the word dignity meant, but that was what I felt for the first time in my life. My mother and I didn't risk our...

Day One, second day, third day:Genesis 11 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called (named) the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first...

Greasing the skids for speed-limiting technology.. From tomorrow, all new vehicles sold in the EU will have mandatory black boxes fitted that record technical data and will be accessible by authorities, greasing the skids for surveillance-powered speed limiting technology. While for the time being, drivers can opt-out of using the feature, privacy advocates fear the technology will become mandatory once it is properly rolled out. Back in 2019, the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) announced that July 6 would mark the day when all car manufacturers would be forced to fit new models with a system that keeps track of...

President Joe Biden and his liberal compatriots in politics, the media, and social media constantly are crowing about “misinformation.” Although the type of censorship they seem to support is not the answer, reconsideration of the legal standard governing defamation, as Justice Clarence Thomas has urged, might be. The Supreme Court denied certiorari Monday in the case of Coral Ridge Ministries Media v. Southern Poverty Law Center. In his dissent from the high court’s refusal to accept the appeal, Thomas once again urges fellow justices to reconsider the double standard for defamation that the court established in New York Times v....

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney suggested the Second Amendment and the United States Supreme Court were too lenient when it came to gun rights, following a shooting that injured two police officers near a Fourth of July event on Monday night. Standing outside the hospital where the two police officers were treated for gunshot injuries, Kenney told a group of reporters that only police officers should be allowed to own guns and that he is looking forward to retiring, so he no longer has to deal with gun violence.

The war in Ukraine risks turning into a protracted conflict that Russia will eventually win, a leading think-tank has said. The report by the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) warned that current Russian advantages and Ukrainian weaknesses are leading to a style of conflict that favours Moscow. The capture of the city means that Russia has essentially gained control of the entire Luhansk region, marking Russia's biggest victory since it captured the southern port of Mariupol in late May.Ukraine's military intelligence chief Kyrlo Budnov said his defence forces had withdrawn "to advantageous positions in order to gain tactical superiority" after the Russians...
