Former President Donald Trump plans on campaigning for Illinois Republican Rep. Mary Miller at an event next week, days before she faces Republican Rep. Rodney Davis in a primary to retain their positions in the U.S. House. Trump endorsed Miller in January, saying she is "doing a fantastic job representing the people of Illinois." The event is in Mendon, Illinois, on June 25, three days before the Illinois primary.Shortly before the campaign event was announced, Miller told "Just the News, Not Noise" that she has similar views as the former president regarding equal television time to allow for opposing views."We're...

BOGOTÁ, Colombia — For more than two centuries, Colombia was considered a conservative stalwart in Latin America. Even as leftist governments came and went across the region, a center-right political establishment remained in control — a continuity that cemented the country’s role as a key U.S. ally. On Sunday night, everything changed. Gustavo Petro, a senator and former guerrilla, was elected the country’s first leftist president, galvanizing millions of poor, young, struggling Colombians desperate for someone different. His victory, unthinkable just a generation ago, was the most stunning example yet of how the pandemic has transformed the politics of Latin...

A Texas gun owner defended himself and another woman from a teenager who allegedly tried to rob them at gunpoint in Austin, Texas last week, police announced. Jaylyn Reed, 17, has now been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Reed was already convicted of a series of robberies in 2021. Police say he was released from juvenile detention on May 27 with an ankle monitor, which he cut it off two days later. Reed then committed a series of nine robberies in five days, police say. Reed reportedly approached the man and woman shortly after exiting a vehicle,...

THIS IS THE funniest part of this thing... "He said he called the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, which referred him to the FBI, which referred him to local police. He said he then called the Michigan State Police, which sent him to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department, which referred him to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources."

The fact that there is a large group of Americans who find value and esteem in being marketed as this marginalized segregative demographic that borders on being a separate species is beyond appalling. It is absolute truth that the only thing liberals have done for these people is give them a massive inferiority complex that has asphyxiated common sense and led to the denunciation of modernity. Take Joe Biden, a vulgar, diaper-wearing, drunkard haunted by accusations of sexual molestation, including strong suggestions of his participating in the sexual molestation of his daughter and granddaughter. Biden had the unmitigated gall to...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has pulled in millions of dollars for his re-election bid from former donors of President Donald Trump — a possible sign that some Trump supporters are looking for other candidates in the 2024 presidential race, according to a report. A weekend Politico analysis of campaign finance data found that at least 10 donors who spent $24 million on Trump’s reelection bid in 2020 have since donated approximately $3.4 million to the Republican governor’s political committee, Friends of Ron Desantis. The analysis found that many of the high-profile donors had never contributed in state-level Florida elections. Those...

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana residents will pay 62 cents per gallon in state taxes on gasoline starting July 1. That’s another jump from June’s record-high 56 cents per gallon. The Indiana Department of Revenue announced the move Monday. Fuel costs are expected to continue to rise in July, driven largely because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin has accused Western leaders of clinging "to the shadows of the past" as he creates a new world order with his invasion of Ukraine. The world will not be as it was before the "special operation", Putin said in his speech at the plenary session of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum."It is erroneous to believe that one can sit and wait when the time of turbulent changes goes by, when everything goes back to where it was. It won't," Putin said. According to him, the changes are fundamental, "crucial and inexorable”.However, he said that Western countries "cling to...

Scientists have developed a new technique that can repair and even regenerate heart muscle cells after a heart attack (or myocardial infarction). While it has only been tested on mice so far, if it works the same in humans it could potentially be a life-saving treatment for people who have suffered a heart attack. The technique uses a synthetic messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA). mRNA creates a 'blueprint' of DNA sequences that the body then uses to build the proteins that form and regulate our cells. By tweaking the mRNA, scientists can deliver different instructions for different biological processes. Here, the...

Hours after former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens released a video saying he would hunt members of the Republican party who he considered not conservative enough, the Republican floor leader of the Missouri state Senate said he had contacted law enforcement. “We have been in contact with the Missouri Highway Patrol and hope that former Gov Greitens finds the help he needs,” Senate Majority Leader Caleb Rowden posted on Twitter Monday. “Anyone with multiple accusations of abuse toward women and children should probably steer clear of this rhetoric.”

Venture Global LNG Inc. has struck the first binding deals by a U.S. natural-gas exporter to supply natural gas to a German company, as the European nation turns to America to help replace supplies from Russia. On Tuesday, Venture Global said it agreed to sell 1.5 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas a year in two separate 20-year deals with German energy company EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, starting in 2026. Half of the amount will come from Venture’s Plaquemines LNG facility under construction in Louisiana, while the other half will come from another proposed facility in that state, it...

The sunspot that has been growing in size recently is known as AR3038. Footage from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory on Sunday shows how the sunspot has evolved over the past day or so, twisting and contorting. "Yesterday, sunspot AR3038 was big. Today, it's enormous," reads the SpaceWeather.com website. "The fast-growing sunspot has doubled in size in only 24 hours." The magnetic field associated with the sunspot means it could potentially send an M-class solar flare at Earth—the second-strongest type. However, it is not known whether this will be the case. As of Monday morning the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's...

NASA's Artemis 1 moon mission completed a crucial preflight milestone today (June 20), wrapping up a two-day set of tests known as a wet dress rehearsal. Those tests included fueling up Artemis 1's huge Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and performing a simulated countdown that took the vehicle and NASA's Orion capsule through most of the progressions they would endure on launch day before engine ignition. The simulated countdown reached its conclusion at 7:37 p.m. EDT (2337 GMT), bringing an end to the wet dress. Not everything went perfectly smoothly. The Artemis 1 team noticed a hydrogen leak during fueling...

Several recent studies have indicated the Covid-19 vaccines actually increase the risk of contracting the disease over time, but these studies have been ignored or even debunked by corporate media and Big Pharma for months. Now, they’ll have to contend with a new study published in the highly respected New England Journal of Medicine. This study was huge in scale, sifting through data collected from over 100,000 people infected by the Omicron variant. It lends credibility to the statistical significance of the findings, which are absolutely startling. Here are the key points: * Those who have been “fully vaccinated” with...

A former Georgia election worker is set to testify in the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot’s latest public hearing on Tuesday as the panel seeks to show former President Trump’s pressure campaign on state officials to overturn the 2020 presidential election results and his role in the riot. That official, former Fulton County, Ga., elections worker Wandrea “Shaye” Moss, will appear before the committee during their second panel. Georgia was among a handful of battleground states that Trump lost during the last presidential election, baselessly claiming that election fraud had been committed. Trump had urged...

CAMP BEFORE RICHMOND, Wednesday, June 18, 1862. Another fine day! Comments on the weather have more than their visual significance here. They imply more than they express. Every day of sunshine advances the fall of Richmond. Three days' rain might postpone it essentially. My opening remark, therefore, is entitled to special attention. With the exception of Sunday's thunderstorm, we have had now in succession seven dry, warm days. The roads are becoming hard. The surface of the earth in the fields, except in low spots, is practicable for artillery. And unless we have a storm to-night or to-morrow, the commanding...
