Irish Viagra An Irish woman of middle years visited her physician to ask his advice on reviving her husband's libido. "What about trying Viagra?" asked the doctor. "Nary a chance" she replied. "He'll not even be takin' an aspirin". "Not a problem," said the doctor. "Give him an Irish Viagra.” "Faith and begorrah," she says, "And what on Earth be Irish Viagra?" "It's Viagra dissolved in his morning cup of coffee. He won't even taste it," said the doctor, handing her some pills. "Let me know how it goes," he said. She called the doctor the very next afternoon. "How...

Day 809 Of The Dictatorship Of COVID-19, Day 809 of America And The World Held Hostage To COVID Shots, Runaway Inflation And... Welcome to Your Weekend. Again your currently sober drunk host your Hypochristian host reflecting in his post surgical-state relaxed mode. The range of emotions out there or the rage of emotions out there either way a toxic mix I see in the videos I've looked at this week. I have to figure what to share with you and how to share it with you. Some of Keith Green's lyrics in that song we just heard. "Throwing away the...

The original Gerber baby, whose face has been on the jar for more than 90 years, died at age 95 on Friday, the company confirmed. The firm said it was 'deeply saddened' by the loss of Ann Turner Cook and offered their condolences to the family. 'Many years before becoming an extraordinary mother, teacher and writer, her smile and expressive curiosity captured hearts everywhere and will continue to live on as a symbol for all babies,' Gerber wrote in an Instagram tribute. Cook, who was born in 1926, only spent a few months of her life not being the iconic...

A notorious vegan activist stormed into a restaurant and demanded diners stop eating meat while she played sounds of animals being slaughtered. Tash Peterson, 28, shouted 'their blood is on your hands' at the patrons eating out at Outback Jacks Bar and Grill on James Street, in Perth, on Saturday. She wore a white outfit stained in red paint, to symbolise blood, as she walked up and down the restaurant while holding a speaker above her head. 'The sounds you hear now, are the sounds of animals screaming for their lives inside Australian slaughterhouses,' she bellowed. 'They fought until their...

On October 29, 2021, the U.S. Director of National Intelligence released a declassified report on the origins of COVID-19. The report acknowledges that, "the first human infection with SARS-CoV-2 most likely was the result of a laboratory-associated incident, probably involving experimentation, animal handling, or sampling by the Wuhan Institute of Virology."

Below is my column in The Hill on the calls for gun bans after the massacre in Uvalde, Texas. The massacre has already been used as the basis for calls to end the filibuster, pack the court, limits on gun ownership, and outright bans. One member called for all of the above. The rhetoric is again outstripping the reality of constitutional and practical limits for gun control. Last night, President Joe Biden formally called for banning “assault weapons” while repeating the dubious claim that an earlier ban sharply reduced mass shootings. Here is the column: In our increasingly hateful and...

A protein that destroys hard to treat cancers has been discovered by scientists - offering hope of effective new treatments. Experiments on mice and human tissue found it is effective against the most aggressive tumors. They include those of the breast, pancreas, ovaries and brain. The compound, known as ERX-41, leaves healthy tissue unscathed. It is one of the most promising breakthroughs to date - offering hope of a "one size fits all"' pill that was once thought impossible. Results were so encouraging clinical trials are expected to begin in the next few months. Lead author Professor Ratna Vadlamudi, of...

I previously wrote a column on the one year anniversary of the Hunter Biden laptop story that marveled at the success of the Biden family in making the scandal vanish before that 2020 election. It was analogized to Houdini making his 10,000-pound elephant Jennie disappear in his act. The Biden trick however occurred live before an audience of millions. Now, in an encore, a new major story on Biden’s Chinese dealings has surfaced. Once again, poof! ...more The media has made the story disappear except for a couple of the usual outlets. Even with the New York Times reporting on...

“The Centrality of Baptism: On Pentecost and in Your Life” (Acts 2:1-42) Today is the Day of Pentecost, one of the three great festivals of the Christian church year, along with Christmas and Easter. This festival commemorates the day of Pentecost that we read about in Acts chapter 2. And what happened that day--the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Peter’s preaching of Christ crucified and risen and repentance and forgiveness in his name--what did that result in? The baptism of 3,000 souls that day. And we even see what happened in the life of the newly baptized in the days...

John Coltrane’s sessions for the Prestige label proved to be supremely fertile and prolific, marking the saxophonist’s creative rebirth. It’s 1958 and John Coltrane is looking to rebuild his career. The reputation of the Philadelphia-raised musician, then 32, had seemed in serious jeopardy a year earlier, after his heroin addiction got him fired from Miles Davis’ group. As a rising star of the tenor saxophone – the man who had lit up a clutch of Davis albums recorded for both Prestige and Columbia during 1955-56 – the high-flying Coltrane seemed an indispensable component of the trumpeter’s band, but the shock of...

Russian troops in the occupied city of Melitopol have stolen all the equipment from a farm equipment dealership -- and shipped it to Chechnya, according to a Ukrainian businessman in the area. But after a journey of more than 700 miles, the thieves were unable to use any of the equipment -- because it had been locked remotely. Over the past few weeks there's been a growing number of reports of Russian troops stealing farm equipment, grain and even building materials - beyond widespread looting of residences. But the removal of valuable agricultural equipment from a John Deere dealership in...

On Friday, HBO’s Bill Maher made clear the Uvalde school attacker’s advantage was not the type of gun he used but the amount of time he had to use it. Maher said, “I mean, this kid was in the room for 40 minutes before anybody came in. It wouldn’t have mattered what kind of gun he had. Any kind of gun could do any amount of damage in that time.”
