As a Canadian (Canadian mother and Swiss father) I must say I am not proud at all of my government and its political actions. In three days, Trudeau grounded the unvaxxed in perpetuity, banned handguns across the board, and is set to legalize hard drugs in BC. This man is crazy insane. If he was trying to destroy Canada, what would he be doing different? On May 31st, 2022, members of parliament voted 202-117 to keep the current travel ban against unvaccinated Canadians in place…

Galerie Danieli stood out from its...

On Wednesday’s “CNN Newsroom,” White House Senior Adviser and Infrastructure Implementation Coordinator Mitch Landrieu stated that President Joe Biden has “done everything within his power” to lower gas prices even though releasing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve didn’t work to bring down prices. Landrieu stated, “[T]he president has already enacted a massive piece of legislation called the Infrastructure Act, which is designed to actually help rebuild the supply chains and to fix the rails and to fix the roads and to fix the air and to fix the water. All across California, residents are being told to scrimp and save water because of historic drought conditions. Meanwhile, state officials are dumping freshwater into the ocean while intentionally depriving rice farmers of the water they need to grow food. Colusa County in Northern California is the top producer of rice in the Sacramento Valley. The area generates more than 150,000 acres of rice in a normal year – but as you can probably tell by now, 2022 is anything but a normal year. Officials there say that only a fraction of the usual rice crop will be grown there this...

The veteran Facebook executive said on Wednesday she is stepping down. "I'm not entirely sure what the future will bring - I have learned no-one ever is," she wrote. "But I know it will include focusing more on my foundation and philanthropic work, which is more important to me than ever given how critical this moment is for women." That may be a reference to the Supreme...

A retrospective review of more than 24,000 patients who underwent an EKG at Mayo Clinic finds that nearly one-quarter of the patients had mitral annulus calcification, a chronic degeneration of tissue at the base of the heart's mitral valve. Mitral valve dysfunction was more than twice as prevalent for those patients, who also were at higher risk of all-cause mortality. Mitral annulus calcification has been associated with cardiovascular diseases and events, as well as higher mortality rates. The research suggests that mitral annulus calcification is a predictor of mortality, as well as a marker of valvular and cardiovascular disease. "Mitral...

[Catholic Caucus] Pope Francis: Guarding ‘dead traditions’ is dangerous for the Church’s lifePope Francis on Wednesday criticized people who “call themselves guardians of traditions, but of dead traditions,” saying that failing to move forward is dangerous for the Church today. Speaking to the organizers of a conference on education on June 1, the pope said that it was vital to make progress by “drawing from the roots.” He said that “there is the fashion — in every age, but in this age in the Church’s life I consider it dangerous — that instead of drawing from the roots in order...

The Texas gun store where teen school shooter Salvador Ramos got an AR-15-style rifle before his rampage was previously part of an ammunition smuggling case involving the Mexican drug cartel, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In 2009, a businessman from Uvalde’s neighboring town of Eagle Pass was accused of trying to smuggle more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition into Mexico, ICE said. The firepower was purchased at Oasis Outback LLC in Uvalde — the same gun shop where Ramos got one of the rifles found inside Robb Elementary School after he massacred 21 people there last week. Businessman Fred...

The majority of the 51 Intel “Experts” who pushed the fairy tale that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation are connected to the Bush dynasty. No wonder they were on the side of the Biden clan. It was clear that the information coming from Hunter’s laptop that was reported by legitimate sources like this site was accurate. This all occurred weeks before the 2020 Election. But then came the report from a group of so-called Intel experts who claimed that the Hunter laptop story was Russian disinformation. A couple of weeks ago the Trump team noted that they would sue...

When Republican legislators in Georgia last year passed S.B. 202, a law overhauling the state's election procedures, Governor Brian Kemp made a prediction: "This new law," he said as he signed the bill, "will expand voting access in the Peach State." He was right. Turnout in Georgia's primary election this month set new records, with more than 857,000 ballots cast during the three-week early voting period that ended on Friday. That was not only three times the number of early votes recorded in 2018, as The Washington Post noted, but higher even than the tally during the 2020 presidential election....
