Watched the last half hour of SNL last night when I got home from work, I was intrigued by the name of the musical act, "Japanese Tea Garden", and it was really annoying, when the female lead singer would bang a gong every 10 seconds, was it a tribute to T Rex? Well I digressed, at the closing everybody on stage was wearing a mask. What were they trying to convey? They are such hypocrites.

The first shipment of foreign-produced infant formula imported under “Operation Fly Formula” is scheduled to touch down in the U.S. on Sunday. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will be on hand to receive 132 pallets of formula produced by Switzerland’s Nestle S.A. set to arrive in Indianapolis, the White House said Saturday. This shipment includes bottles of both Nestlé Health Science Alfamino Infant and Alfamino Junior formula, which the administration prioritized due to the “critical medical purpose” they serve. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin ordered military aircraft to transport the shipment from Ramstein Air Base in Germany. The administration announced Thursday...

Some of the EU countries are pushing forward the idea of doing away with Russian hydrocarbon supplies in the wake of the special ,military operation in Ukraine. The bloc has been failing to negotiate a ban on purchasing Russian oil for weeks, and severing much stronger ties in the gas sector will be even more difficult. The European Union is facing trouble finding replacements for Russian hydrocarbons, especially gas, amid EU threats to refuse Russian energy resources, French newspaper Le Monde diplomatique has stated in its article. The article explains that in their effort to stop purchases of Russian hydrocarbons,...

A Republican amendment to the Domestic Terrorism Act intended to exclude prosecution of parents for criticizing school policies was rejected by the Democrat majority on the House Rules Committee. The amendment was championed by Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn) who argued that "last fall, parents across the United States were accused of being 'domestic terrorists' for speaking out against their child's school's curriculum. My amendment would bar the federal government from initiating a terrorism accusation against parents for peacefully questioning the instruction of their children." House Judiciary Committee chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) characterized the Democrats position as "an abuse of...

A former correspondent with Fox News suggested on Saturday that law enforcement agencies will have to take action against Fox News and Tucker Carlson to "stop the lying." Carl Cameron, Fox's former chief political correspondent, told CNN's Jim Acosta that Carlson in particular has been "screaming fire in a crowded movie house for years." "The fact of the matter is, if you disturb the peace by starting a riot in a movie theater, cops are going to arrest you and you might end up in jail or you might end up in something worse," Cameron said. "And that kind of...

Three cruise brands are suffering from crew shortages, but the reasons the lines cite for the lack of extra hands on deck couldn’t be more different. Norwegian Cruise Line’s, Carnival Cruise Line’s and Cunard Line’s recent moves are likely examples of a broader industry staffing issue that could impact service levels on many cruise ships this spring and summer. Norwegian caps capacity Norwegian Cruise Line has been forced to limit passenger capacity on its United States-based Pride of America ship, which reentered service in April and sails exclusively around the Hawaiian Islands. As reported by Travel Pulse, NCL President Harry...

An elderly hiker who was missing for six days was found dead in a rugged forest in Arizona with his loyal dog still alive at his side, officials said. The body of 74-year-old Donald Hayes was located by authorities on Wednesday near Mingus Mountain in north-central Arizona — about 85 miles north of Phoenix, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. When responders arrived on scene, they found Hayes’ dog, Ranger, “very dehydrated and malnourished,” lying next to his body, officials said. Responders took the pup to an animal hospital before he was returned to Hayes’ wife, a...

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures earlier today. During their discussion Senator Cotton argued that the US Congress had to give $40 billion to Ukraine in military aid or China will attack Taiwan. This was after they were discussing the record inflation rate in the US today. Tom Cotton: It’s important that we support the Ukrainians as they defend themselves against this war of aggression by Vladimir Putin. So, first off I do understand the reservations some people had about the legislation. And there was some excessive or unnecessary measures. But a lot of that...

As I write this, Australia has a Prime Minister-Elect from the Socialist Left Faction of the Australian Labor Party. Daniel Andrews, the Premier of the State of Victoria, is from the same faction. The next state election in Victoria is due on November 26 which is the anniversary of the cremation of the ashes of Fidel Castro in 2016. The centralised planning mentality of Andrews turned the city of Melbourne into the most locked down city in the world. The economy is in ruins with massive debts. The people have been deeply traumatised. As a lover of freedom, whose dad...

Ukrainian fighters were overjoyed after they blew up one of Russia's deadly vacuum bomb launchers in an enormous explosion. Vladimir Putin's war effort was once again damaged as Volodymyr Zelensky's troops destroyed another piece of Moscow's military equipment. The Ukrainian 80th Air Assault Brigade hit a TZM-T (TOS-1 reloading vehicle) with a Stugna-P ATGM, a Ukrainian anti-tank guided missile. Footage shows missiles being fired at a Russian TOS-1 launcher on the side of a hill before the thermobaric missile launcher explodes with a massive ball of fire and thick smoke.

A loyal dog was ready to lay down her own life to rescue her best friend during a recent mountain lion attack in Northern California. A few minutes after twenty-four-year-old Erin Wilson parked her truck and began walking down a trail to the Trinity River, the unthinkable happened, NPR reported Saturday. “I’m just walking down the slope and the dog had run ahead of me. And I turn around and there’s this cat just growling at me and it reaches up and it swipes at me,” she recalled of the harrowing incident. “At first, I was just like, Wait, what?...

Imagine being a parent on a budget, down to your last container of formula: You drive to four different grocery stores, two Wal-Marts, a Target and a Rite-Aid, racking up more than 60 miles in pursuit of nourishment for your child. You not only have zero luck finding anything to feed your baby; you have also used up a lot of gas. Along that drive you likely also saw significant evidence of a drug problem — either in the gaunt, vacant faces on people walking along Main Street or the batch of new treatment centers that have popped up where...

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have 'lost another key aide' after parting company with their global press secretary - the latest of at least 12 of their top staff to leave since 2018. Toya Holness, who has a degree in strategic PR from the University of Southern California, joined the Sussexes in October 2020 and was promoted to oversee their PR on both sides of the Atlantic in March last year. She has previously been described as 'Meghan’s shadow' - having often been seen wearing the same style of power suits and Hollywood sunglasses. The former football player had been...
