MEYERSDALE, Pennsylvania — Unless either Dr. Mehmet Oz or David McCormick pulls out a miracle between today and Tuesday evening, just over 20% of the Republican primary electorate is going to nominate Kathy Barnette for U.S. Senate. This would mark the first time in modern Pennsylvania Republican primary history that such a complete unknown wins with no statewide infrastructure to support her candidacy, zero money, and little scrutiny. If she succeeds, she will have upended a race between two capable candidates who, up until a week ago, seemed to be locked in a two-man contest. This would also mark the...

The decision seemed mutual as Brees preferred doing games over the “Football Night in America” studio show, and NBC didn’t have many NFL games to offer him. NBC soured on Brees’ potential after originally believing he could develop into the heir apparent to Cris Collinsworth on “Sunday Night Football” games. On the air, Brees, 43, had an up and down rookie season that was highlighted by a poor performance in his biggest broadcast of the year, the...

The 52-year-old Fetterman, who confirmed that he has been hospitalized all weekend, insisted the health emergency wasn’t slowing his campaign. But the stunning revelation, just two days before Pennsylvania’s primary election, created a cloud of uncertainty over the Democratic front-runner’s candidacy in what may be one of the party’s best Senate pickup opportunities. In a short video released by his campaign, a seated Fetterman, speaking clearly, explained that “I just wasn’t feeling very well” on Friday and that he decided to go to the hospital at the urging of his wife. He detailed the situation further in a written statement....

There’s a reason Finland and Sweden have enjoyed strong relationships with both Russia and most western nations simultaneously. Their longstanding position of neutrality has helped them maintain both security and economic prosperity for decades. Russia wanted to do business with them as neighbors and western nations wanted to stay friendly based on shared values. Things are changing as the machinations of the New World Order progress nicely on a global scale. Both nations have announced their intentions of joining NATO, and NATO has indicated their applications will be quickly approved. This has been a red line for Russia for decades....

Since the 2020 elections, it seems like more and more Republicans have decided to move closer to the left. Their Twitter profiles still read “Republican”, they still wear red ties when on the Hill. The constant gaslighting of America over whose fault the soaring cost of living just went to ’11’ on the ‘do you think we are all f**king stupid’ scale. As Matt Margolis points out, it has been a wild ride for the blame-shifting until now… In the course of a year, we’ve gone from “inflation will be transitory,” to “inflation is a good thing,” to “inflation started under Trump,” to “it’s Putin’s price hike.” Polls show that no one was buying the blame-Putin strategy, so Biden and the Democrats are now accusing oil companies of price gouging. And now the blame...
