Source: Townhall Media/Julio RosasIt’s religious dogma to the left: our immigration system is broken and the only fix is more cowbell. Ok, maybe not more cowbell, but a complete overhaul of the system – “comprehensive immigration reform” – which is code, or “dog whistle,” to put it in terms Democrats will understand, for amnesty. Sure, it would also involve a lot of other things progressives leftists admit we need to “fix” about the system, but without amnesty, they aren’t interested in any of it. Which goes to show you that, in fact, the immigration system is not broken, Democrats are....

When Elon Musk tweeted on Friday, “The far left hates everyone, themselves included!” the only thing he got wrong was his use of the word “far.” The hatred, anger and resentment of liberals is not exclusive to the extreme Democrat. It’s now the entire party. The Democrats have become a party of perpetually miserable people. When was the last time anyone encountered a happy Democrat? They don’t exist. They’re perpetually miserable, annoyed that normal people have moved on from COVID, offended that anyone objects to public schools teaching 7-year-olds about sexual identity, and frustrated that their fetish with “critical race...

In the latest move in China’s delicate balancing act over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Chinese drone maker DJI has suspended its operations in both warring nations. The Shenzhen-based company is the world’s largest drone manufacturer. This move makes DJI the first major Chinese company to stop business in both countries amid a conflict that the West has condemned and sanctioned but China has so far stood mostly on the sidelines despite its alliance with Moscow. In an April 26 statement, DJI announced that it will suspend all of its business activities in Russia and Ukraine, pending an internal assessment of...

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has led a congressional delegation to Kyiv to meet with Ukraine’s president before heading to Poland for talks with officials there on Sunday. Pelosi, a California Democrat who is second in line to the presidency after the vice president, is the most senior American lawmaker to visit Ukraine since Russia’s war began more than two months ago. Her visit to Kyiv on Saturday marks a major show of continuing support for the country’s struggle against Moscow. “Our delegation traveled to Kyiv to send an unmistakable and resounding message to the entire...

PHOENIX (AP) - Former Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel, who recently resigned amid controversy over her performance in office, died Saturday of unspecified health complications, her family announced. She was 45. Adel's husband, David DeNitto, said in a statement released on behalf of the family that they were “utterly heartbroken by this unimaginable loss." The family’s statement did not elaborate on the cause of death but said that relatives requested that the “the press and the public honor her, her legacy and our family by respecting our privacy at this difficult time,” Adel, a Republican and the first woman elected...

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) appeared in a campaign ad for Rep. David McKinley (R-W.Va.) released on Friday as the congressman faces a primary match-up against Trump-endorsed challenger and fellow GOP Rep. Alex Mooney (W.Va.) “I’ve always said if I can’t go home and explain it, I can’t vote for it. And that’s why I opposed Build Back Better. For Alex Mooney and his out-of-state supporters to suggest David McKinley supported Build Back Better is an outright lie,” Manchin says in the 30-second ad. “David McKinley has always opposed reckless spending because it doesn’t make sense for West Virginia. Alex Mooney...

Further Russian reinforcements to the Izyum axis are unlikely to enable stalled Russian forces to achieve substantial advances. Elements of unspecified Eastern Military District units and several air-defense assets are reportedly deploying from Belgorod to the Izyum front to support likely degraded Russian units attempting to advance south of the city. These forces are unlikely to enable Russian forces to break the current deadlock, as Russian attacks remain confined to two major highways (toward Slovyansk and Barvinkove) and cannot leverage greater numbers. Several successful Ukrainian counterattacks out of Kharkiv city in the last 72 hours have additionally recaptured a ring...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky in a secret visit to the war torn country’s capitol city, footage released Sunday shows. Zelensky shared the footage showing him joined by an armed escort coming to meet Pelosi at the steps of a building in Kyiv as Ukrainian forces continue to resist bombardment from invading Russian forces. “Nice to meet you, thank you for coming,” Zelensky tells Pelosi in English. Pelosi, the highest-ranking US government official to visit Ukraine, was joined at the meeting by Rep. Adam Schiff and other congress members, the video showed. Later, Pelosi and...

On April 28, 2022, a meeting took place at the former site of Auschwitz. The president of Poland, Andrzej Duda, right-wing politician, joined in the March of the Living with Holocaust survivors and 2,000 others at a ceremony on Israel's National Holocaust memorial day, and laid a wreath at the Death Wall in Auschwitz. He commented on the parallel with present-day events. Just as Adolf Hitler was acting to wipe out all Jews, as well as many Poles and Roma, so the war criminal Vladimir Putin is trying to kill and eliminate the Ukrainian people. The Russian forces were committing...

The Russian attack has begun to show the tell tale signs of failure. Much like it's predecessor, the northern front, this new southeastern front is already the same logistical issues, overcrowding, and lack of actual progress that doomed Russia during the first months of the war. The Ukrainians appear to be preparing for a new series of coutnerattacks in the coming days which will once again put the Russians on the back foot.

Is this the hill that patriots will die on? Is this the moment when MAGA nation says, "Hell, no"? Is this the time when hardworking blue-collar Americans say with a unified voice: "We will not comply"? Is this the legal case where the Supreme Court act as if they are...the Supreme Court and declare Mr. Biden's newly created Bureau of Disinformation unconstitutional from its inception? Is this the final straw, where a clear plurality of Republicans "man up" and act as the opposition party should, and refuse to fund Mr. Biden's "Ministry of Truth"? I think America and the rest...

Just as the internet has been roiled by the news that Elon Musk is buying Twitter and plans to turn it into a free speech forum, the administration announced its nifty plan to stifle free speech. Of course, the creation of such an office is a tell that their ideas cannot withstand the sunlight of open debate. It’s also a distraction from the real issues a competent administration would be dealing with. Under Biden and as a result of his misbegotten policies, the price of natural gas is up 192%, diesel 176%, regular gasoline 74%, foodstuffs 59%. Supply chain problems...

Russia this week stopped the flow of natural gas to Poland and Bulgaria. The two former Soviet satellite states have defied the Kremlin by supporting Ukraine in its efforts to repel the Russian assault. And in some places, the effects of the gas shut-off are already being felt. Wilson Dizard has more in this report. ...

The enemy also lost 517 tanks, 1,578 armored fighting vehicles, 267 artillery systems, 80 multiple rocket launchers and 47 air defense systems. "The data are being specified. The calculation is complicated by the high intensity of hostilities," the General Staff stressed.

The Ghost of Kyiv was a Ukrainian fighter pilot. A lone warrior in the aerial defense of Ukraine’s embattled capital city in the early weeks of the Russian invasion. Deftly maneuvering his 30-year-old, twin-engine MiG-29, the Ghost jealously guarded the sky over Kyiv. Fighting against the odds with antiquated weaponry, he shot down 40 Russian warplanes before finally succumbing to enemy fire three weeks into the war. The Ghost of Kyiv, real name Stepan Tarabalka, died in the cockpit of his trusty MiG on Marchth 14, The Times reported. Just one problem. The Ghost of Kyiv legend isn’t true. Even...

“The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion” (Proverbs 1:1-4).

China was able to reverse-engineer much of the former Soviet aircraft carriers and improve its own related technologies -- despite previously having no experience with them. But if the armor of the Varyag is based on former Soviet standards, the sinking of the Moskva will only make Chinese leaders fret over its vulnerability to incoming advanced missiles. Since its commissioning in 2012, the Liaoning has been considered one of the Chinese navy's key assets. It often sails near Taiwan, including through the Taiwan Strait. But following the war in Ukraine, if Chinese President Xi Jinping, chairman of the Central Military...

Attorney General Merrick Garland continued to refuse to address questions over his refusal to appoint a Special Counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation despite new evidence tying President Joe Biden to the controversial business deals. The New York Post is reporting that President Biden agreed to cover more than $800,000 in bills of Hunter, including legal fees tied to the foreign deals. While President Biden’s denial of knowledge of Hunter’s deals has been repeatedly contradicted (including by Hunter himself), White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki declared that President Biden stands by his denials. However, she declined to explain new information...
