The Russian attack has begun to show the tell tale signs of failure. Much like it's predecessor, the northern front, this new southeastern front is already the same logistical issues, overcrowding, and lack of actual progress that doomed Russia during the first months of the war. The Ukrainians appear to be preparing for a new series of coutnerattacks in the coming days which will once again put the Russians on the back foot.

Day 66 and the Putin Stooges are still infuriated that Ukrainians are defending their freedom.
How many times have we heard the putinettes squeal “wait ‘til next month,” only to see month after month pass while their beloved Red Army is bogged down yet again? Their delusions have gotten rather comical.
On the other side, we’ve heard “the Russians will collapse in two weeks” for months now.
Where are you reading that? Nobody here is making that claim.
Putin Stooges are trusting the plan. Putin planned for Nancy Pelosi slap him in the face by arriving in Kyiv. After his soldiers cried to their mommas on video and then ran away.
Russia is fighting WWII in the era of satellites, drones and the ability to source communications. If you don’t roll over your enemy quickly and you don’t have communication security you are screwed. A Russian tank costs between $1/2 million to 4 million. Tank busting drones and missiles cost $100k to 200K. Bad cost ratio when the west fronts the cost of the tank busters. Russia isn’t using any combined arms tactics in an effective fashion. I have never heard Russia would collapse on Free Republic.
Was that some random person on Twitter claiming that?
I agree on all points. The vaunted Russian Army is being exposed as a bloated, ineffective, undisciplined mass of sub-humanity. This conflict hasn’t even settled into an insurgency, but when it does, that will wear those Russian orcs down more than anything else. Anyone who thinks the Ukrainians haven’t studied the tactics of successful guerrilla campaigns is fooling himself.
It’s been in the echo chamber since this started. Here is an example:

Thank you
It is now a war of attrition. Both sides have functioning supply lines, so they can keep bringing men and hardware. Eventually one or both will lose enough men and hardware to have to quit.

Which is more good news: Russia has not produced a single production tank in 10 years; the Russia’s Uralvogonzavod major tank factory shuts down production. It will no longer be able to assemble any of T-72 tank (https://twitter.com/MargoGontar/status/1515373221855608834) chip shortages claimed by factory, Putin blames DJT.
Russian tanks numbers on paper are huge, however, all but about 2,500 are non-working rusted hulks, many of which are without vital parts to include engines: cost to repair - astronomical. What happened to their maintenance budgets and the missing parts? Siphoned off by commanding officers or sold on the black market. Consequence of living in a kleptocracy, run by criminal thugs.
Upshot the RGF is not getting any new tanks, unless cannibalized from other units in South and Far East. In fact, it is not getting anything new for the same reason.: no chips.
If Putin’s War continues through the full mobilization and declaration of war (with Duma approval) stage and continues to suffer huge losses and no real victories, the vultures will begin to circle, looking for the soft bits.

Sort of.
The UA is hitting military and energy targets inside Russia. (This is creating a causes belli for Russia to declare war).
The Russian are hitting the unique Ukraine/Russian locomotives, supply and fuel dumps and soon all bridges across the Dnieper River, cutting the country in half and making it near impossible to bring heavy weapons to the front.
It’s been about 60 days since the invasion. Russia clearly wanted to leave the infrastructure alone, but was left with no choice. Now, who will we blame for the coming starvation, etc.?
As I have said many times since the very first days of the war, if the U.S. and its hegemonic bloc do not back down and try to cut a deal, THE UKRAINE WILL BE TOTALLY DESTROYED.
At least one-third of it will go to Russia, and the rest will become another Afghanistan, albeit one with a number of severely under-maintained and overstressed nuclear power plants.
Several million more refugees will hit Europe at the worst possible time.
