In my opi9nion, when that sort of calculus leads you to support Nazis against Christians as is the present case in Ukraine, then you’ve gone a bit too far with it.

It is a fact that we have elements in our Government who are operated by Traitors to the nation. (many of them today) But they do not represent the USA.

The Russians invaded Ukraine. They are not the good guys. It is probably true that we wouldn’t care if the Russians were serving our interests but often times we do the right thing for wrong or self serving reasons, but it is easier to justify to the public when the cause is also just.
As for the fact that neo nazi groups are fighting with the Ukrainians, this is just the standard compromise people have to do when fighting a more dangerous evil, same as when we used the Soviets as allies and then became enemies when the alliance had served its purpose.

It was entertaining to watch Assad pose as morally superior, accusing the West of supporting Nazis, when his Ba’ath Party operates the last Nazi- modeled Government on Earth.
The Ba’ath Party was founded upon the same principles as the Nazi Party - socialism based on race (albeit the local Arab race, in place of the Aryan race). The Ba’ath were Allies of the Nazis in WWII. Saddam’s uncle, who raised him, spent time in a British prison for his participation in a Ba’ath Parry plot to take over Iraq to bring it (and its oil) to the Nazi side in WWII.

You may want to check out the timeline on that part. The Nazis there were part of the government long before Russia invaded.
That was a fair program. Saw it a while ago. Assad is a SOB but he’s secular and he protects the Christians.
