He’s the best out of some really bad actors in his country. If you haven’t seen this, you’ll really get a feel of what life was like under him. Just the first 5 minutes is enough (although you’ll likely want to watch the whole show).

That was a fair program. Saw it a while ago. Assad is a SOB but he’s secular and he protects the Christians.
