A Possible Prophetic Series of Events This past February, I had the pleasure of being the guest preacher at Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Wagoner, Oklahoma. The first Sunday, I presented a message on the four types of soil Jesus taught about in Mark 4:1-20. After that, I was at a loss as to what to preach for the remaining three weeks. I sought the LORD in prayer as to what to present, and I was impressed to speak on the events that are to occur in the future, such as the Rapture of the Church, the Judgment Seat of...

There is an abundance of outrage in the United States about Russia’s alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential election. Multiple investigations are taking place, and Moscow’s conduct was a major justification for the sanctions legislation that Congress just passed. ---snip--- The extent of the Obama administration’s meddling in Ukraine’s politics was breathtaking. Russian intelligence intercepted and leaked to the international media a Nuland telephone call in which she and U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Geoffey Pyatt discussed in detail their preferences for specific personnel in a post‐Yanukovych government.

What’s next on God’s prophetic timeline? With Russia on the move in Ukraine, many see The Gog-Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39 as the next piece of the biblical puzzle to be revealed. Others see the Rapture of the Church (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17) to be the next prophecy to be fulfilled. Still, others, who don’t believe in the pre-Tribulation Rapture, believe the appearing of the anti-Christ is imminent (Daniel 9:27 & Revelation 13). While all these prophecies are in sight, I believe the next major biblical event to be fulfilled is the prophecy found in Isaiah 17, the destruction of Damascus,...

The classically-minded among you might be familiar with a set of events that are recorded by the Roman historian Livy as occurring in the early days of the Republic. These were known as the “secessions of the plebs,” or secessiones plebis, and they involved the literal withdrawal of the plebs - the common people - of the city of Rome from the city itself in acts of secession in which the common people would refuse to participate in Roman society until their grievances were addressed. As described by Livy, these grievances were indeed well-founded and involved severe financial (and even...

Faced with tough upcoming midterm elections, inflation and high gas prices, Democrats say they need to do a better job selling the American people on President Biden's accomplishments. While key priorities of Biden's domestic agenda have died in Congress – namely the Build Back Better social spending plan and voting rights reforms – members of the DNC are taking stock of what Biden has gotten done and pushing a message of monumental accomplishment. "We have a record — a record to be proud of, an agenda that addresses the biggest concerns here in America, in people’s lives, the message that...

President Biden said he expected the Russian stock market to blow up the second it reopens in response to crippling sanctions that have been imposed on the country in response to its invasion of Ukraine. “You know what the value of a ruble versus a dollar? A Moscow microbiologist has accused the Kremlin of 'pure lies' and 'propaganda' in claiming Ukraine had secret US-funded biowarfare labs which they claim could attack Russia... But Moscow State University microbiologist Dr Yevgeny Levitin analysed the documentation allegedly seized by the invasion force - and strongly criticised the Russian claims. From a scientific perspective, he says the claims are 'absurd fakes' and 'a deliberate lie, which is not justified in any way'. In a sign of rising dissent in Moscow over the war, he went public with his critique and wrote an open letter with other unnamed graduates of his...

The consternation over the Parental Rights in Education bill, passed by the legislature in Florida, continues apace. As RedState reported, the falsehoods being perpetrated about the bill are mind-numbing, including the idea that it bans saying the word “gay,” when that term is not even mentioned in the text. Of course, because major corporations think being woke is profitable, Disney decided to jump into the fray, denouncing the legislation. Gov. Ron DeSantis responded by essentially telling them to go jump in a lake. Now, Disney Corp. has retaliated by pausing all political donations, of which about 80 percent in Florida...

Maksym Borodin has spent much of the past decade battling for an improved quality of life in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol. Today, his city is fighting for its very survival. That progress now looks set to be lost amid the rubble of this city of more than 400,000 people, as Russian forces besiege it and satellite images show utter devastation. Before the Russian invasion, Borodin, an activist turned politician, was among those who felt that, however slowly, progress was being made on environmental and climate issues in Ukraine. But as the war enters its third week, the fighting is...
