Farewell to prayer to St. Michael the Archangel; Latin Mass wars heating upSince the late 19th Century, Catholics have recited the Prayer to St. Michael when facing disease, disaster and despair. It proclaims, in part: "St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. … O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls."Before Vatican II, this prayer was often recited after Mass, although it wasn't in the rubrics. Democratic strategist James Carville said on Sunday that Democrats should “quit being a whiny party” and instead focus on what accomplishments they've been able to achieve so far during the Biden presidency. During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” host Chuck Todd asked Carville what the president should do to fix an increasingly downtrodden mood among Biden's coalition from progressives not happy with what they see is a lack of progress on a host of issues to African Americans critical of a lack of effort on voting rights.

The man suspected of murdering a 19-year-old Burger King employee earlier this week ranted about social justice and demanded reparations as police officers escorted him out of an East Harlem police station. Winston Glynn, 30, is accused of murdering 19-year-old Burger King employee Kristal Bayron-Nieves during a robbery in the early hours of Sunday morning. As officers led Glynn out of the police station into a police vehicle, video captured Glynn shouting social justice slogans at an angry crowd who gathered outside the station. Winston Glynn was arrested by “The Greatest Detectives in the World” for the murder of a...

The FBI is facing backlash on social media after an official said that the Texas synagogue hostage taker’s demands were "not specifically related to the Jewish community." "The FBI is now an organization solely focused on destroying the domestic enemies of the Democratic Party," conservative talk radio show Jesse Kelly tweeted Sunday morning. "Any Republican Congress or Presidential candidate who doesn’t loudly proclaim his intention to massively reform or disband this organization should not be considered. Kelly’s tweet came in response to the Associated Press reporting that FBI officials said "the Texas synagogue hostage taker's demands were specifically focused on...

A former employee who alleged rampant sexual discrimination and harassment inside the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was using “disturbingly false allegations” in a “systemic and continuous internet smear campaign” to get people to stop donating to, or working with the organization, CAIR said in a lawsuit filed last spring. Lori Saroya’s “public lies are damaging CAIR and the American Muslim community in ways that are significant and long lasting,” CAIR’s lawsuit claimed. But CAIR may have seen that damage as less harmful than a discovery process which could expose organizational secrets. CAIR abruptly filed a stipulation to dismiss the...

The Salt Lake City Tribune editorial board published an editorial on Saturday that called on the Utah governor to use the National Guard to prevent unvaccinated citizens from going anywhere. In an editorial titled, "Utah leaders have surrendered to COVID pandemic, the Editorial Board writes" the paper lays blame at elected officials for failing to mandate the vaccine for all citizens. The paper asserted that if Utah was a "civilized place," Republican Gov. Spencer Cox would implement a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for the state and have the National Guard enforce the mandate by not letting unvaccinated people go "anywhere."

President Biden on Sunday called the hostage situation at a Texas synagogue on Saturday an "act of terror." "This was an act of terror," Biden told reporters. Over the past three years, dozens of cities across the country have banned natural gas hookups in newly constructed buildings as part of a growing campaign to reduce carbon emissions from homes. The movement scored a major victory last month, when New York City’s outgoing Mayor Bill de Blasio signed into law a ban on gas hookups in new buildings. Though new laws apply to the entire home, the policy debate often focuses on one room in particular: the kitchen. Gas stoves account for a relatively small share of the emissions released by a typical household, but they’ve become a...

No real description of the video, other than the title, so here's mine for those too busy to watch long videos: Fascinating discussion of LtCol. Scheller's career, his values, and why he chose to expose the failures of America's senior military leaders and America's botched "war on terror" as the hill he would die on. He sacrificed his reputation, his career and his marriage for his Marines and his country.

VIDEOJake Tapper castigated President Trump over "Who Counts the Votes" during his January 16 "State Of The Union" show. Guess what? Joe Biden also angrily declared that what matters isn't so much who gets to vote as "WHO COUNTS THE VOTES." Thus far no comment from Tapper on Biden's declaration.

Federal has introduced a new cartridge that has been specifically designed for those who carry a concealed pistol for personal protection. They’re calling it the 30 Super Carry. From an external and terminal ballistics standpoint, the 30 Super Carry will run right with the 9mm, but offers some advantages. It generates between 10 and 20 percent less recoil, for one thing. And maybe more importantly, given magazines of the same size, it offers a higher capacity than the .380 Auto or 9mm Luger. How did Federal achieve this? They borrowed from what they learned in 2008 while developing the .327...

Russia again expects the US and EU countries to provide written responses to demands for security guarantees related to NATO's refusal to expand to the east. In particular, this was stated by Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov, who shared his own assessment of the results of his country's dialogue with the United States in an interview with Newsweek. "It must be admitted that the discussions held last week with the United States and NATO have not yet yielded any significant results. We expect written responses from Washington and Brussels to our draft agreements. Based on them, we will make...

Just last month, CAIR’s Dallas-Fort-Worth chapter held an event called "In Pursuit of Freedom" at the East Plano Islamic Center in Plano, Texas, calling for Siddiqui’s release, claiming she had been "kidnapped, ripped apart from her children, shot at, renditioned to the U.S., and is currently serving an 86-year prison sentence for a crime she did not commit." On Nov. 18, the CAIR chapter held an online fundraiser for Siddiqui’s defense team. Russia has three ways to influence the US. One of them is a nuclear warning strike on a test site in Nevada. You can even use missiles strategically. This proposal was made on the air of the National Course YouTube channel by State Duma deputy from United Russia Yevgeny Fedorov.“This is a training ground where the US military is located , there are no civilians there, and if you warn two or three days in advance, then it’s quite a good action to demonstrate the seriousness of intentions, ”the deputy expressed his opinion.Fedorov noted that Russia can afford such actions and...
