High gas prices necessary to reduce consumption Lots of folks are complaining about the price of gasoline. Here is my thinking: 1. I love my grandkids. 2. I believe in science. 3. Climatologists tell us that human–created emissions will make our grandkids’ lives uncomfortable, and eventually horrible. 4. Twenty percent of our emissions come from burning gasoline. 5.
