On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) said that the Build Back Better reconciliation bill was “Bernie Sanders’ bill” and that there was only one Democrat who was willing to oppose spending trillions of dollars with high inflation. Toomey stated, “I mean, I give Joe a lot of credit, the amount of abuse and flack he has taken from some of his colleagues, from the left wing all over America. It’s really pretty shocking when you think about it, here’s one Democrat in the United States Senate, one Democrat, who thinks maybe...

A USA Swimming official resigned in protest of transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, saying she can’t back a sport that allows “biological men” to compete alongside women. Cynthia Millen, who had officiated USA Swimming meets for three decades, stepped down ahead of last week’s U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships in Greensboro, N.C. “I can’t do this,” Millen wrote in her resignation letter, the Washington Examiner reported Thursday. “I can’t support this.” Millen is now hoping others in the sport will agree that Thomas, 22, has an unfair advantage over female competitors after coming out as transgender in 2019 following three years...

A new independent study using analysis of excess deaths showed that our estimate of the number of excess deaths was consistent with what they found. Here are some quotes from the paper: Results from fitted regression slopes (p<0.05 FDR corrected) suggest a US national average VFR of 0.04% and higher VFR with age (VFR=0.004% in ages 0-17 increasing to 0.06% in ages >75 years), and 146K to 187K vaccine-associated US deaths between February and August, 2021. Comparing our estimate with the CDC-reported VFR (0.002%) suggests VAERS deaths are underreported by a factor of 20, consistent with known VAERS under-ascertainment bias...

The CDC has announced the results of an alarming new study: everyone who has ever been infected with COVID-19 will die at some point in their life... "This is a terrifying statistic," said Don Lemon on his nightly CNN broadcast. "The correlation between being infected and eventually dying is too high to dismiss. The important takeaway here is that we should all be terrified." In a statement from the White House, President Biden expressed that he was “shook” by the study and would take aggressive action by infringing on a few more liberties just to be on the safe side.

Cities across the world are now undergoing a new wave of lockdowns due to the coronavirus. But are these new—and in some cases draconian—lockdown policies actually a result of the Chinese regime using its network of communist parties, politicians, and scientists to orchestrate the whole thing? Using Britain as an example, Trevor Loudon exposes how the Communist Party of China uses lockdowns.

The Progressive left has complained vociferously about the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict. One of their strident hypotheticals is to claim a black man in Kyle’s situation would never have made it to trial, let alone been found not guilty by a jury. From Julian Castro on twitter: You know damn well that if Kyle Rittenhouse were Black he would have been found guilty in a heartbeat—or shot dead by cops on the scene. This is demonstrably false.A case that received no attention in the national media has numerous similarities to the Kyle Rittenhouse case. Davion L. Jones was found not guilty in...

Dr. Oz asked his pal and fellow TV star Oprah Winfrey to stay out of the Pennsylvania Senate race where he is seeking the Republican nomination. “I asked her to stay out. Don’t support me because if you get involved in any way, you’ll get hurt and I don’t want my friends hurt,” Oz said. Oz made the remarks during a meet and greet with Manhattan Republican grandees at Smith & Wollensky steakhouse in midtown on Dec 16. The confab attracted around 50 people and was hosted by billionaire John Catsimatidis and his wife Margo. Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani and...

Coal and nuclear energy made up 40% of the overall energy mix in Germany. Meanwhile, renewables fell to 41% of the mix. Still, Germany is stuck on kicking its coal and nuclear habit—coal because it’s dirty, and nuclear because of Fukushima. The decision to retire the latter was made shortly after the Fukushima disaster, but since then, coal use has risen to fill in the gaps left by nuclear. This year, Germany plans to shut down the Grohnde, Gundremmingen C, and Brokdorf nuclear plants, which will leave Germany with just three. Those final three will be retired by the end...

The incident happened Tuesday night around 9:45 p.m. in the 2000-block of South 20th Avenue. Police said three men driving a Durango took a black Mercedez Benz SUV that belonged to Lightford. The state senate majority leader said she was dropping off a friend at the time. Lightford, who said she feared for her life, described it like a scene out of a movie. "Three guys just hopped out with guns and...

But rushing to replace gasoline-powered cars with electric vehicles would hand the keys to the American transportation sector to China, given Beijing’s near-monopoly on rare-earth elements like neodymium and dysprosium, which are used in the high-output motors of most electric vehicles. ... manager at a state-owned rare-earth enterprise based in Ganzhou: “The new company will enforce stricter rules on the production quantity as well as the export volume of rare earths, which may also drive up prices.” In May, the International Energy Agency reported that an electric-vehicle motor requires “upwards of 1 kilogram,” or more than 2 pounds, of rare-earth...

It seems like this Christmas is all Krampus and no St. Nick. People are in a foul mood, and politically it seems every day brings little offerings from the Caga Tió — from failed legislative measures to calls for packing institutions or sacking individuals in righteous indignation. Indeed, if you expect your holiday events are going to be an emotional powder keg, just think of dinner for Justice Sonia Sotomayor with the three newest justices after she said a “stench” of politics followed them to the Court. Then there is the happy gathering of the Democrats with senators like Joe...

WASHINGTON, Tuesday, Dec. 24. Extensive preparations have been made in nearly all the camps for the celebration of Christmas. Dinners, fetes, balls, and games are to be the order of the day and night. Many officers have obtained three days' furlough to visit their homes. Gen. SICKLES left for New-York to-night. Arrangements had been made by Lord LYONS to have a Christmas dinner with diplomats to-morrow, but it is probable that it will not take place, on account of the news of the death of the Prince Consort. The President and members of the Cabinet will proceed down the Potomac...

The British government’s all-out media blitz to make sure there can’t be a single person in the country who doesn’t know Downing Sreet wants them to take a third coronavirus vaccine continues unabated, with every cell phone in the nation due to ring out after Christmas Day with a reminder. An agreement with mobile phone network operators means the British government will be able to push a text message to every UK handset on the day after Christmas — Boxing Day — telling adult owners to get a third coronavirus shot.
