Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) announcement he would not vote for President Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better Act was “disgusting.” Waters said, “While Manchin is exercising unusual power because of the numbers and is willing to be one man, one person that will hold up assistance to the American people, is absolutely disgusting and amazing to me. ”

Swedish Company Implants Covid Passport Microchips in Hands.. A Swedish company is making headlines by calling to mind a nightmarish image for Christians around the world. A video from the South China Post went viral Friday for showing the microchip technology recently introduced by the Stockholm-based startup, Epicenter. The company’s “chief disruptor” Hannes Sjoblad demonstrated how their product, the size of a grain of rice, has been adapted as a Covid passport, implanted under the skin in the arm or hand. It is definitely not normal for young athletes to suffer from cardiac arrests or to die while playing their sport, but this year it is happening. All of these heart issues and deaths come shortly after they got a COVID vaccine. While it is possible this can happen to people who did not get a COVID vaccine, the sheer numbers clearly point to the only obvious cause. The so-called health professionals running the COVID vaccine programs around the world keep repeating that “the COVID vaccine is a normal vaccine and it is safe and effective.” So in response to their...

Shortly afterward, the women entered another unspecified store...

I’ve been on the road across several states since Dec. 4. For the most part, life is the most normal it’s been in the past 18 months in most locales. It’s clear that almost no one is downscaling any plans for a second straight Christmas due to paranoia or misinformation. A new national poll confirms this. It shows the majority of vaccinated Americans — 73% — will keep plans to attend in-person holiday events in the coming weeks, even as bureaucrats advise people to take extra precautions amid “surging” COVID-19 cases. An even higher proportion of the unvaccinated, more than...

Made popular in France in Paris in the late 18th century,...

Former President Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Alex Witt Reports” that her uncle has no idea “what it feels like to love somebody or to be loved.” Referencing remarks the former president made at a rally, Witt asked, “So what did you make of listening to your uncle say that if he could, he would have done more to make sure that National Guard troops were deployed on January 6. What was your reaction to that?”

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (FIRSTCOASTNEWS) — A Jacksonville woman allegedly poisoned her boyfriend’s drink because he wouldn’t stop talking. Alvis Parrish, 54, is facing charges of poisoning food or water with intent to kill or injure. According to an arrest report from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a home on Dec. 7 in reference to a poisoning. When law enforcement got there, Parrish was sitting on her front porch yelling at them, reported local NBC/ABC affiliate First Coast News. As deputies got closer to her, Parrish reportedly said, “Yeah, I did it… because he wouldn’t shut the f*** up.” As...

At the freedom protest on 4 December in York, Sarah, whose husband is a vicar in the Church of England, spoke out about the battle between good and evil we are facing.“We’re in a massive battle. And this isn’t about the North or the South, or about whether you’re left or right politically. This is not a battle about land. This is actually a battle for the mind. This is the greatest battle that you’re ever going to be in … What people are seeing now is the battle between good and evil,” she said. When asked her thoughts about vaccine...

For a variant that came to light less than a month ago, the evidence for Omicron’s potential to wreak havoc has mounted at breakneck speed. What studies have emerged are rapid first takes, but the message they convey is now loud and clear: the scientific case for more restrictions is overwhelming. Without hard and swift action to curb transmission, the NHS faces a battering.

Hillary Clinton was on television Sunday promoting her new political thriller State of Terror -- which she admitted is based on her 2016 rival, former President Donald Trump. In her third interview this month, the former first lady accused Trump of 'masterminding' the January 6 Capitol riot and said he was a 'danger' to the country. Her recent media blitz has fueled rumors that Clinton is testing the waters for her own re-election bid after repeatedly calling a potential Trump 2024 ticket a threat to democracy. This morning, CNN host Fareed Zakaria asked about claims her new novel is a...

A fifth coronavirus wave has started in Israel, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Sunday night. He addressed the public at a press briefing as the number of Omicron cases identified in the country rose to 175, up 40 from Friday. “We were the first in the world to close the entry to Israel to foreigners,” Bennett said in his opening remarks. “We needed to buy time and keep the variant as far away from Israel as possible. The time we bought is running out. “Omicron is already in the country, from the Knesset to kindergartens, and it is spreading fast,”...

Dr. Anthony Fauci does not believe the pandemic will reach a state in which Americans can go without masks in closed spaces, even with good filtration. Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly told a U.S. Senate panel on Wednesday that "masks don’t add much, if anything" in fighting the spread of COVID-19 on airplanes. In a direct rebuke of Kelly’s comments, Fauci told ABC’s "This Week" that he doesn’t believe the pandemic will reach a state in which masks will be unnecessary – especially for closed spaces. When asked point blank if he thought there might be a point where masks...

The White House accused Joe Manchin on Sunday for breaking his word after the Democrat publicly said he is a 'no' on President Joe Biden's Build Back Better initiative following months of negotiations over the social spending legislation. 'Senator Manchin promised to continue conversations in the days ahead, and to work with us to reach that common ground,' White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement on his latest comments. 'If his comments on Fox and written statement indicate an end to that effort, they represent a sudden and inexplicable reversal in his position,' she added, 'and a...

WASHINGTON, Dec 19 (Reuters) - U.S. health officials urged Americans on Sunday to get booster shots, wear masks and be careful if they travel over the winter holidays, with the Omicron variant raging across the world and likely to take over as the dominant strain in the United States. The government is gearing up for the next phase of battle in a two-year fight against a virus that has killed 800,000 and disrupted every aspect of daily life. Dr. Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health, told CBS' "Face the Nation" that the number of Omicron cases will...

...snip... That’s just a taste of what’s in the legislation. One of its most egregious features is a $2.5 billion handout to trial lawyers, and it may be here where we will discover whether Manchin is really the man of the Mountain State that he claims to be or a Washington swamp creature. The BBB would allow trial lawyers everywhere in the country to deduct their contingency-fee expenses whether they lose or win a case (even though winning their lawsuit means taking a large percentage of the monetary award, typically 30 0r 40 percent). The Joint Committee on Taxation pegs...

Salvation Army chapters across the country are reporting massive shortages in volunteer hours and toy donations just weeks after the charity distributed (and then pulled) a controversial guide calling on white people to confront their "racist attitudes." Some 20,000 volunteer hours have gone unfilled for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign this year, which historically represents about 33% of the charity's total yearly donations. The charity has also reported substantial shortages of toy and gift donations in some parts of the country, such as New Jersey, where donations are down 30% across the state.
