Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) said on this week’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Alex Witt Reports” that Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) announcement he would not vote for President Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better Act was “disgusting.”
Waters said, “While Manchin is exercising unusual power because of the numbers and is willing to be one man, one person that will hold up assistance to the American people, is absolutely disgusting and amazing to me. ”

And Maxine loved the quick turnaround from “marriage between one man and one woman” voted into law in many states, followed by a one vote SCOTUS vote for gay marriage. Bingo. Now everybody admires gay marriage. Or else./S
And many important votes in the past decades with one vote or the VP presiding to cast the one vote.

Manchin strikes me as an attention whore. He undeservedly gets acclaim from the right and deservedly gets abuse from the left as he simply walks a line that maybe get him reelected in deep red WV. Wake up WV, if Manchin was a republican he would be a RINO. He’s not onboard with MAGA.
