Dr. Anthony Fauci said a booster shot specifically for the Omicron variant of COVID-19 may not be necessary for vaccinated people. The White House chief medical advisor said that the existing shots could be enough to provide protection against the new variant. “I’m not so sure that we’re going to have to get a variant-specific boost vaccine to get an adequate protection from Omicron,” Fauci told the health website STAT in an interview published Friday. “Because if you look at protection against variants, it appears to relate to the level of immunity and the breadth of the immunity that any...

Officials in Europe said this week that the Omicron coronavirus variant could overtake Delta in becoming the dominant strain of the virus in just a matter of days, and warned of a possible "tsunami" of new infections. "We expect it to overtake Delta within days, not weeks," First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon said Friday, according to the Washington Post. The U.K. Health Security Agency issued a similar warning, noting that Omicron has a "high growth rate," over Delta and that it will likely become the dominant version of the virus in Great Britain by mid-December. Meanwhile, in Denmark, researchers...

There’s something creepy about the culture at CNN. We see their hosts and employees oddly defending perversion, including pedophilia and sexual misconduct. We see them embroiled in lawsuits and criminal cases involving sexual harassment and even sexual assault. For CNN to continuously hire the most hideous humans available explains why they defend evil while trying to destroy anything good about America.

NBC’s The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon gushed over President Joe Biden, telling him that he is “bringing class back” to the presidency by attending events at the Kennedy Center and mingling with the elite, unlike former President Donald Trump. “I was at the Kennedy Center, and I saw Republicans and Democrats in the crowd,” Fallon told Biden. “Everyone was laughing at jokes and listening to great music — everyone seemed cordial and nice, and I go, ‘This seems like this should be much easier to get along with everybody.'”

VIDEOStolen Valor Serial Fabulist Brian Williams signed off forever from his MSNBC exile. Of course in all the tributes to himself was nary a reference as to why he was leaving a low rated late night MSNBC show rather than from his NBC News anchor gig. Also interesting was that in all the personal tributes to Williams, notably missing was Lester Holt who owes Brian his current NBC Nightly News anchor slot due to Williams being forced to vacate it thanks to his serial lying. Also note that Brian signed off by taking an ominous shot at the MAGA "deplorables"...

Is this guy running for president? As a Republican, I mean. These comments are disqualifying in a Democratic primary. DeSantis/Polis could be the fusion ticket America needs to heal. If this post feels familiar, it’s because Jared Polis said something similar a month ago, which I wrote about at the time. He’s the only Democratic governor I know of who’s openly skeptical about the utility of extra COVID precautions, to the point where he finds himself fending off calls from the left to use his executive power to order new ones. Last month he argued that it’d be silly to...

According to his attorney Nenye Uche, actor Jussie Smollett considers his recent trial and conviction for staging a fake hate-crime “riveting entertainment” and hopes to “film two sequels.” “One of his ideas is that while he is out on bond during his appeal the Nigerian brothers, Ola and Abel Osundairo, stalk him in order to finish the job,” Uche said. “After several narrow escapes, Jussie lures them into a trap at a donut shop where an undercover cop overhears their threats. The truth finally prevails as former President Trump is implicated for inspiring the original assault. The brothers are killed...
