The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary has joined several other religious and secular businesses in suing the Biden administration over its mandate requiring most private sector businesses to force their employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine or risk facing insurmountable fines or firing employees. The Kentucky-based SBTS and Asbury Theological Seminary filed a petition Friday with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit to challenge the private employer vaccine mandate, said the legal group Alliance Defending Freedom, which is presenting the seminaries, in a statement. The mandate requires employers with more than 100 employees to mandate the coronavirus vaccine...

If the end of the world came, but nobody told you about it, would you care? Here’s a stunning piece of information that appeared in exactly no American news media, right, left or center. I read about it in Global Times, the Chinese government’s English-language newspaper. The Pew Research Institute, a respected non-partisan opinion research organization, polled the world’s major countries about American democracy. Only 17% said the U.S. “is a good example for other countries to follow,” while 57% said it used to be. Twenty-three percent said it never was. It’s troubling that Americans have similar views. Only 19% of Americans...

On Saturday, a three-judge panel from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit temporarily blocked Joe Biden’s COVID vaccine mandate on businesses with more than 100 employees. White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain said he’s confident that the mandate will eventually be held up and promised that the Biden administration would fight for the mandate, which was set to take effect in January.“I’m quite confident that when this finally gets fully adjudicated, not just a temporary order, the validity of this requirement will be upheld,” Klain said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday. “If OSHA can...

The Detroit Metro Times reported: All 12 federally recognized tribes in Michigan sent a letter to President Joe Biden and his administration Friday, urging him to lend strong support to the state's effort to shut down the controversial, 78-year-old Line 5 oil pipeline owned by Canadian company Enbridge. "The Governor, the Attorney General, and our Tribal Nations need your Administration's help," the letter reads. "… During your campaign, you promised that you would heed our concerns and act to protect our fundamental interests. We view Line 5 as an existential threat to our treaty-protected rights, resources, and fundamental way of...

Can 10 months really make a real difference in America? Not normally. But weld together a hard-left socialist agenda with the control of the White House and Congress onto the combined forces of progressive woke media, Silicon Valley, the corporate boardrooms, the entertainment industry, academia, and the Wall Street borg—all in the age of instant and intrusive communications—and it’s no wonder a country, even a nation as resilient as the United States, can descend quite quickly in ways that make America almost unrecognizable. In other words, 40 weeks of relentless Bidenism finally permeates most of the nation.Fuel Prices, Inflation, and Border ChaosOut...

Early in the Delta wave of the pandemic, I remember an emphatic statement from Dr. Robert W. Malone. As Florida and the rest of the South began seeing increased cases, the drumbeat to get vaccinated became incessant. Governor Ron DeSantis was in the process of revolutionizing the delivery of monoclonal antibodies amid criticism from the media and our vaunted expert class for treating the ill rather than pushing vaccines. When an interviewer asked Dr. Malone about Florida’s response, he said: “You don’t vaccinate into the teeth of a pandemic.”Malone made that comment in the context of a more extended discussion...

So what other catastrophes does Joe Biden have in store for us, now that he's shut down the Keystone XL pipeline, halted drilling on federal lands, opened the border, brought back Jimmy Carter-style inflation, and abandoned Afghanistan in shambles?Looks like a good bet is even higher energy prices. Get a load of what he's planning now:The Biden Administration is considering shutting down a Michigan oil pipeline in another push to get the U.S, away from fossil fuels, despite warnings from Republican lawmakers who believe the move would result in fuel price shocks throughout the Midwest. The administration is exploring the possibility...

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. Exodus 20:5 KJV The legacy and shame of sexual sin has been passed down through my family, as is true in millions of others. I’m sure if the numbers of those affected were truly known, it would shock the world. This is the underbelly of a darkness that affects us to our core. And that which is left unexamined,...

Like all rational Americans, I was happy with the results of the Virginia gubernatorial election this past Tuesday. However, I’m not optimistic, one reason being that a photo-finish victory against a sleazy establishment bagman in a state that a decade ago was reliably red is an indication that we dodged a bullet rather than pulled ahead of the pack. Youngkin’s surprise comeback can be attributed solely to the freak occurrence of the issue of critical race theory arising at just the right time in just the right place to swing just enough votes his way. A month, or a county,...

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm (D) said Sunday that President Biden is considering tapping into the nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve amid rising crude oil prices. During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Granholm told host Dana Bash that Biden is looking at every tool at his disposal to address high gas prices in the U.S. Granholm noted that Biden had already asked the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries to increase supply, but it declined.

And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines. And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife. Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she...

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Vote-counting in the contest for an open seat on Pennsylvania's statewide Commonwealth Court narrowed the race to a virtual dead heat. That's as some counties continued Friday to tabulate remaining mail-in, overseas and provisional ballots. Two seats on the court are opening up next year. Republican Stacy Wallace, a lawyer, won one of them in Tuesday's election. But the latest unofficial count on the state's online election site showed Democrat Lori Dumas and Republican Drew Crompton in practically tied. That puts the contest well within the margin under state law for a mandatory recount.

Joe Biden delivered remarks on the higher consumer prices Americans are experiencing recently. The dude is out of his mind. And the fake news media hacks are the only ones in America who haven’t noticed it yet. “Why is the price of agricultural products, when I go to the store, why is it higher? What, like for example. if I had, if we were all going out and having lunch together and I said let’s ask whoever’s at the next table no matter how, whatever restaurant we’re in, have them explain the supply chain to us. You think they’d understand...

America's borders reopen today to thousands of international travelers from the UK, Europe, Mexico, and Canada for the first time since March 2020, when former President Donald Trump slammed the country's ports closed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Until now, the only people who have been able to enter the US from those countries are American citizens, green-card holders or those who obtained national interest exemptions from the ban. Starting Monday, travelers can visit the US again from anywhere so long as they prove they are fully vaccinated and have a negative COVID-19 test.

Since Friday evening, 45 people were shot in the city of Chicago. So far, eight of those shot have been reported dead. The shootings follow a crime wave in Chicago and Democratic cities across the country. Shootings are up 220% in Chicago compared to last year, according to the Chicago Sun Times. The city is on pace to have its worst violent crime wave in 25 years. The murder rate is set to increase yet again this year following a 30 percent increase in 2020. Efforts to defund the police continue to intensify despite the nationwide uptick in violent crime....

Seattle Parks and Recreation promoted and cohosted an event at Discovery Park that’s open to all — except white people. Yet again, the city is embracing a segregationist culture in the name of inclusion. The “interactive beach walk” at Discovery Park coincides with Seattle Forest Week. The event was in partnership with Sea Potential, an environmental nonprofit that seeks to connect area-youth of color with maritime through “healing activities and ocean justice conversations.” Though the City of Seattle prohibits discrimination, this event was only “open to anyone who identifies as BIPOC.” It’s not the first time Seattle Parks has greenlit...

President Biden ran on a “Build Back Better” agenda in his 2020 campaign, which included infrastructure and economic reforms. Hidden in Democrats $1.6 Trillion spending package to advance his agenda is a plan to give amnesty to 8 million illegal immigrants. Some sources, such as the Heritage Foundation, put the number even higher, at 11 to 22 million. Democratic politicians have said that amnesty and Biden’s infrastructure bill are “inextricably linked”, and will refuse to consider one without the other in the bill. “We have to have total agreement on both before we move either” said Senate Majority Leader Chuck...
