HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Vote-counting in the contest for an open seat on Pennsylvania's statewide Commonwealth Court narrowed the race to a virtual dead heat.
That's as some counties continued Friday to tabulate remaining mail-in, overseas and provisional ballots. Two seats on the court are opening up next year.
Republican Stacy Wallace, a lawyer, won one of them in Tuesday's election. But the latest unofficial count on the state's online election site showed Democrat Lori Dumas and Republican Drew Crompton in practically tied.
That puts the contest well within the margin under state law for a mandatory recount.

Let me guess, a U-Haul truck appeared at 3:00 with pallets of ballots.
This is such horsesh**!! Never fails and nobody ever goes to jail except maybe a voter or two thrown under the bus.
This is the Democrats bread and butter. If it wasn’t for fraud, there wouldn’t be a Democrat in office.

Finally a bit of possibly bad election news the FR doom-and-gloomers can cling to! The poor things have had such a bad week.
They can count millions of votes within hours on election night, but that last bundle of votes they find a week later can take weeks to count.
As soon as the right side has enough votes, they can stop finding votes and declare a winner.
The best part about PA is we aren’t NJ...
And our Republican legislature voted to widen mail in voting, So nice of them!!!! /S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remember the time they found ballots days after the election and it pulled the republican ahead of the democrat.
No? I don’t either!
the DemoNaziCommie bosses will continue to steal our elections forever
since nobody has bothered to stop them
it is a proven winning strategy
The mail in vote is extremely heavy D. In Virginia Election Day vote was R+14.3 but the mail in vote was D+50.3.
The mail in vote was D even in the ruby red counties that Youngkin won by 60 points.
The mail in vote is going to always swing D as long as people who vote R refuse to use it.
If mail in vote is going to exist, then Florida level controls need to be placed on it.
I did Pennsylvania before I did those two, so maybe I'll have to revisit Pennsylvania to see if the same pattern exists.
The same resistance to "election" scrutiny by the Republican-majority PA state legislature exists as existed in Wisconsin and Michigan.
Republicans in every state should have their people embedded in every aspect of every election; from how ballots are printed, to poll watchers, to being in the room during adjudication, to counting the votes.
This needs to be a national Republican priority starting today.
Said it before and will say it again, Pennsylvania has replaced Louisiana as the most corrupt state in the Union.
The bookie nods
Yes.
They could have done this with McAwful but didn’t.
As for this, they need to call fraud now.
Say it now, say it out loud, say it to everyone nonstop.
It’s fraud. Happening now.
Thanks to George Soros...
