Together, we will change the trajectory of this Commonwealth. And friends, we are going to start that...

Are NFTs the next big thing for high-end whisky collectors? Two entrepreneurs that were behind a record-breaking $2.3 million sale of a 1991 The Macallan cask earlier this month certainly think so. The double-size cask, a first-fill sherry butt distilled at The Macallan, which currently holds about 600 bottles of 30-year-old whisky, was sold at auction. It included a digital asset from artist Trevor Jones called “The Angel’s Share,” which is an uncompressed scan of Jones’ oil painting as well as an animated component. The sale was a partnership between Origin Protocol, a company that drops NFTs, one-of-a-kind digital assets...

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been fined $48,000 this year for not wearing a mask on the House floor — and she’s vowing to keep defying the mandate. The House Ethics Committee issued a statement Monday regarding the Georgia Republican, indicating she most recently broke the rule on Sept. 28. The outspoken mask critic — who was suspended from Twitter for railing against the COVID-19 vaccine — previously flouted the mandate on Sept. 27 and Sept. 22. She did not file an appeal in any of those incidents. Greene has been spotted without a mask in the House chamber at...

Joe Scarborough didn't name names. He wants, after all, to be able to walk through the MSNBC cafeteria without being hit in the back of the head with a kale-quinoa salad. But the Morning Joe host did take repeated shots this morning at MSNBC colleagues like Nicolle Wallace and Joy Reid who last night blamed Terry McAuliffe's loss on Glenn Youngkin focusing on Critical Race Theory even though, they claimed, it isn't "real." Scarborough's point was that even if CRT isn't being explicitly taught in public schools, wokeism is indeed present, has angered many parents, and is hurting Democrats at...

The U.S. military "absolutely" could defend Taiwan from a potential Chinese attack if asked to do so, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley said Wednesday. Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum, Milley said he did not expect China to attempt to seize the self-governing island in the next 24 months, but should it happen, U.S. forces “absolutely have the capability” to defend Taipei, “no question about that.” He also allowed that Beijing is “clearly and unambiguously building the capability to provide those options to the national leadership if they so choose at some point in the future.”

The pro-life advantage has been around for decades and it showed up again on Tuesday night in Virginia. When it comes to the issue of abortion, pro-life candidates always have the advantage over pro-abortion candidates. And that was the case against last night in Virginia, where pro-life Glenn Youngkin defeated pro-abortion Terry McAuliffe. Youngkin ultimately won the race by 2.1%, with a 50.7-48.6 percentage point victory over McAuliffe. But that victory is thanks in part to abortion. According to Fox News exit polling data, 5% of Virginia voters made their decision primarily based on abortion, and that provided a 12%...

Vice President Kamala Harris may be regretting her message to Virginia voters last week now that the commonwealth will be governed by a Republican. During a campaign event last week with Democrat gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe in Norfolk, Virginia, Harris told voters that what happens in the commonwealth will be a preview of “how the country will move” as we get closer to the midterm elections. “Tuesday will determine whether we turn back the clock on move forward,” she said. “What happens in Virginia will in large part determine what happens in 2022, 2024, and on." In another pro-life election victory last night, pro-life Republicans captured the Virginia state House from pro-abortion Democrats, where they can begin the process of restoring pro-life laws that Democrats took down when they were in power.
