On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “At This Hour,” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) said the Virginia gubernatorial election “was about local issues. Those were about parental issues. And unfortunately, racism raised its ugly head and the Republican candidate used it very aptly.” And she isn’t going to tie the result in Virginia “to Democrats or anything we did here in Washington.”

McAuliffe just made the mistake of openly stating what nearly all DEMs in DC believe about parents. We damn well *are* going to tie that to the DEMs.
Racism raised its ugly head, and elected a black woman Lt.Governor. Yes those Virginia voters certainly showed how racist they are.

The same voters who voted 2xs for Obama. Elected the 1st Black Female LT Gov and 1st Latina AG in VA history, are now “racist” for not voting for an old White male Clinton thug.

McAuliffe also said 50% of the students in Virginia schools are people of color and 80% of the teachers are white. He stated emphatically the balance needed to be fixed by replacing white teachers with teachers of color. Somehow this was not a racist statement.
