The U.S. Supreme Court is due to hand down a major ruling on American’s Second Amendment rights. The court recently announced it will hear a case soon, which could potentially increase the number of people able to carry a gun in public. According to gun rights advocates, a favorable ruling by the Supreme Court would make it harder for Democrat-led cities to deprive citizens of the right to carry guns in public. “We feel that the suit is: One, to bring equal justice and equal protection to the people, the gun owners in New York state,” explained Tom King, President...

People who have received COVID-19 vaccinations are able to spread the delta variant within their household despite their vaccination status just as easily as unvaccinated individuals, a new study published on Friday shows. According to the study published in The Lancet Infectious Diseases journal, people who contracted COVID-19 had a similar viral load regardless of whether they had been vaccinated. The study further found that 25 percent of vaccinated household contacts contracted COVID-19. while 38 percent of unvaccinated individuals were diagnosed with the disease.

While more studies with larger numbers of participants are needed to say for sure, there does seem to be a connection between coronavirus (COVID-19) infection and tinnitus. One study found that 23.2% of individuals experienced tinnitus after their COVID-19 diagnosis, most commonly described as recurrent or occasional. It was suggested that this may be due to inflammation of the blood vessels supplying the inner ear. Another study found that 40% of individuals with preexisting tinnitus felt that their tinnitus was exacerbated after experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. It was suggested that the lifestyle changes brought on by COVID-19 illness—quieter environments, social isolation,...

This week, it was strawberry Pop-Tarts — with a lawsuit claiming damages over what it calls "deceptive" marketing by Kellogg's of its pastries that contain just as much apple and pear as strawberry. Before that, there were the fudge lawsuits, with claims against Keebler and Betty Crocker and others over "fudge" cookies and baking mixes that contained no milkfat. And of course, the 120 or so vanilla lawsuits, each alleging that consumers have been duped by companies marketing "vanilla" products that contain little to no actual vanilla bean. If the flavor on the label doesn't match the ingredient list, that...

[H/T LilFarmer]Warning - heartbreak ahead. Unfortunately, some parents believe the CDC/FAUCI/MSM 'machine,' which is dangerous because our weaponized medical agencies are lying, telling parents the 'vaccines' are safe and urging them to get their children 'vaccinated'. Note the pro-vaxers turn on her when her son has myocarditis as a result.LilFarmer wrote:

As the West careens toward the COVID-centered anthill society, nobody defends the individual’s personal autonomy. It matters not that the few “Republican governors crusading against vaccine mandates are [allegedly] facing significantly lower approval ratings on their handling of the coronavirus pandemic than their counterparts,” as Politico purports. (Don’t believe Politico!) What matters are governors like Texas’ Greg Abbott, who “flat-out banned vaccine requirements, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, [who] followed up by vowing to sue the Biden administration.” These two governors are unique in upholding natural, inalienable, individual rights—the right of self-ownership and bodily dominion; the stuff mocked by Joe...

WASHINGTON, Wednesday, Oct. 30. NOT GOING INTO WINTER QUARTERS. I think I have sufficient authority for explicitly denying the statement that the army of the Potomac would go into Winter quarters within the lines of the present encampment or intrenchments. No such purpose is entertained by the Government, and no such suggestion has been made by Gen. MCCLELLAN. Indeed, within the past fortnight the activity of preparation has been greater than within the same time for the last two months. Of course, an army is to remain in and around Washing to defend the Capitol, and doubtless we shall have...

The suspects are a man and woman who spoke English and gave staff the impression of being a refined couple who checked into the hotel and dined at its restaurant. They then asked a hotel front desk clerk to serve them more food and when he went to the kitchen —- leaving security camera monitors unattended — the man slipped into the cellar and stole the bottles, Polo said. The couple checked out in the early hours of Wednesday, paying with a credit card and leaving with bags full of bottles. Polo said no one noticed their booty, which included...

Mayoral candidates across the country are closing out their campaigns pledging to restore law and order, a major setback for racial justice protesters who only a year ago thought they had permanently reshaped the debate on policing in American cities. As voters head to the polls Tuesday, local elections are dominated by discussions about safety and law enforcement amid a surge in violent crime. The tone of the debate, even in many liberal urban communities, highlights how major policing reforms have stalled. From Buffalo to Seattle, Democratic politicians who once championed significant reductions or reallocations of police department budgets are...

Previous studies had indicated that while most mammoths likely died out around 10,000 years ago, a few had managed to survive in small populations on remote islands off the coast of Siberia. There had even been suggestions that some of these isolated island populations had held on until around 4,000 years ago. Now though, the results of a ten-year study involving the collection and analysis of 535 samples of sediment and permafrost from Siberia, Canada, Alaska and Scandinavia have yielded evidence to suggest that mammoths had still been roaming the wilds of mainland Siberia as recently as 3,900 years ago....

The phrase "Critical Race Theory" appears on the Virginia Department of Education website despite Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe’s repeated claims the curriculum is not taught in Virginia. On the Virginia Department of Education website, several examples of the department promoting Critical Race Theory can be found, including a presentation from 2015, when Terry McAullife was governor, that encourages teachers to "embrace Critical Race Theory" in "order to re-engineer attitudes and belief systems." Additionally, superintendent memo 050-19 can be found on the site from February 2019 promoting both Critical Race Theory and the idea of "white fragility." Also in 2019,...

“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15). Jesus Christ provides us with the perfect example of how to defeat temptation. Perhaps you’ve heard the joke, “I can resist anything but temptation!” Unfortunately, that is all too often true in our lives. Learning how to successfully resist temptation is vitally important, for we sin only when we yield to temptation. Christians throughout history have recognized the importance of resisting temptation. One early believer wrote, “Fly from all...

Biden-and-company are looking for redemption through destruction, or as disgraced foreign correspondent Peter Arnett once incorrectly penned about a Vietnam village, “We had to destroy it to save it.” They are, of course, looking in all the wrong places. For conservatives, this is sad and ironic truth because under the cover of American success, many of us have become pawns in the crescendoing progressive upheaval. As Lloyd Billingsley states, “In America alone, our political class has exploited the pandemic to override the rights of the people, cast themselves as heroes, expand government, and justify vast amounts of spending… Freedom is...

An Oregon man accused of attacking conservative journalist Andy Ngo and stealing his cellphone during a 2019 confrontation has been indicted, authorities said. John Colin Hacker faces a third-degree robbery charge after a Multnomah County grand jury reviewed the evidence against him, the Multnomah County District Attorney told Fox News. "I hope last week’s indictment of Mr Hacker signals a change in the prosecutor’s office in Portland," Ngo said in a news release distributed Friday by the Center for American Liberty, which is representing him in a lawsuit against an Antifa group. "For years, too many violent extremists falsely claiming...

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was paid nearly $128 million over the past two years through his salary, bonuses and other benefits, according to The New York Times. That figure, per the report, was discussed at the league-wide owners meeting in New York earlier this week. About 90% of Goodell’s pay over the past two years came from bonuses alone, four sources told The New York Times — which was so large “because he had helped secure such favorable labor and media deals.” Specifically, Goodell was paid $63,900,050 each year — which totals up to $127.8 million. That, per The New...
