Almost 40 years after his death following a bar brawl in Key Biscayne, Ricardo Morales, known as “Monkey” — contract CIA worker, anti-Castro militant, counter-intelligence chief for Venezuela, FBI informant and drug dealer — returned to the spotlight Thursday morning when one of his sons made a startling claim on Spanish-language radio:Morales, a sniper instructor in the early 1960s in secret camps where Cuban exiles and others trained to invade Cuba, realized in the hours after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas in 1963 that the accused killer, Lee Harvey Oswald, had been one of his sniper trainees.

(CNN)A Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade could bring abortion bans to as many as half the states in the country already poised to prohibit the procedure. Such a move would also have knock-on effects on the primarily blue states that would maintain access to abortion. A Roe v. Wade reversal -- and the flood of abortion restrictions such a ruling would usher in -- stands to affect the distance women would have to travel to their nearest clinic, according to a new report released this week by the Guttmacher Institute. The institute, which favors abortion rights used...

Washington (AFP) - US Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday received a Covid-19 vaccine booster shot and urged Americans to follow suit. Harris received her third dose of the Moderna vaccine at the White House and encouraged everyone to get the booster "when you are eligible." "What we have said from the beginning: It's safe and free," she said. Harris said that over 90 percent of Americans in intensive care units or who have died of Covid are unvaccinated. "So let’s get vaccinated and we will get through the pandemic," she said.

The Landlady's Tale By SWORDMAKER copyright 2000Preface The following story was told to me by the woman who rented my parents their first home in California when they moved to Sacramento in 1939. A devout Catholic (so much so that although she had been divorced by her husband, she did not consider the divorce valid and did not remarry until her husband died many years later) the landlady swore on her Bible, in front of my sister and me after she told us the story, that it was absolutely true. She was quite serious about it.In the 1970s, I personally...

The raging Democrats were screaming and chanting with bullhorns outside of a wedding Sinema attended. The mother of the bride came out to beg the leftists not to ruin her daughter’s wedding. The leftists didn’t care and screamed at the woman telling her to kick Sinema out of the wedding. This is the modern-day Democrat Party. They are no different than any Marxist regime in the world today. This is what you can expect when you offend these monsters. Not even your daughter’s wedding is safe from these demons.

Virginia’s Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin told Breitbart News Saturday that his campaign is going into Election Day with “a ton of momentum” as Virginians are rejecting Democrat Terry McAuliffe — the “Godfather of [the] modern day progressive Democratic Party” — and his divisive campaign, as voters unite around issues on education, lower taxes, better jobs, and the fundamental desire for a government that “doesn’t tell us what to do all the time.”Speaking to Breitbart News Saturday on the eighth day of his ten-day bus tour, Youngkin said his campaign has “a ton of momentum” and “enormous enthusiasm,” expressing confidence...

The Lincoln Project co-founder Stuart Stevens has refused to apologize after the 'Never Trump' group admitted to planting five people carrying tiki torches in front of the Republican candidate for Virginia governor Glenn Youngkin's bus. Stevens' statement came as liberals and Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe's staff joined conservatives in bashing the stunt. McAuliffe's campaign manager called it 'disgusting.' CNN's Chris Cuomo asked Stevens, appearing with longtime Democratic strategist James Carville, if he wanted to apologize for the smear.

Dear fellow Americans: I never thought I'd write a letter like this, but we’re living in very different times. This is my cry for help. My name is Nathan DeGrave, and as a non violent participant at the Jan 6th rally, I’ve spent the last 9 months detained as a political prisoner in pod C2B at the DC DOC…otherwise known as DC’s Gitmo. The conditions here for Jan 6ers have been inhumane. In fact, some inmates are even begging to be transferred to GUANTANAMO BAY, where even THEY have more acceptable standards. Class action LAWSUITS are being filed against this...

Sen. Josh Hawley revealed this week that President Joe Biden ordered his administration to fill up American evacuation planes from Afghanistan with as many of the country’s citizens as possible, even if they were not vetted. “This email was shared w/ me by an American official present in Afghanistan during the evacuation who was shocked by Administration’s failure to vet Afghans before they were evacuated. Email details orders from Joe Biden to fill up the planes – even without vetting,” said the Missouri Republican. “Total inflow to the U.S. must exceed the number of seats available. Err on the side...

When you’re looking for a new job, every little advantage over other candidates helps. But is your vaccination status now an advantage you should disclose during the screening or interview process? On one hand, being vaccinated isn’t a job skill; but on the other hand, being unvaccinated is a public health liability that can’t be shrugged off by employers. The unvaccinated are already at a disadvantage A Biden administration vaccine mandate for businesses with 100 or more employees is expected to drop in the next few weeks, but many larger companies like Google, Walmart, and United Airlines already imposed workplace-based...

From tractor parts to fertilizer, farmers are plagued with problems in the U.S. supply chain. And with labor already being an issue across the U.S., some fear it could get worse as vaccine mandates are prompting some employees to walk away from their jobs. After USDA said late last week it’s not approving a vaccine mandate exemption for Farm Service Agency (FSA) employees, farmers could see another shortage: FSA field staff. The request was made by National Association of FSA County Office employees who filed the request. The Association, which represents 6,700 FSA employees, asked that county offices be allowed...

A Southwest Airlines flight on Saturday turned political when one of its pilots finished an announcement to passengers with "Let's Go, Brandon," a slur used to insult President Joe Biden. "On Friday morning on a Southwest flight from Houston to Albuquerque, the pilot signed off his greeting over the public address system with the phrase, to audible gasps from some passengers," AP's Colleen Long wrote in an article published on Saturday. Long was a passenger onboard the flight for a vacation, she explained in a Twitter thread, and was almost removed from the aircraft after unsuccessfully trying to get the...

CNN anchor Jake Tapper said Friday on his show “The Lead” that Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto should stay strong after getting death threats for his pro-vaccine messaging. Sunday on “MediaBuzz,” Cavuto urged those who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID to do so for “those around you.” [cut] He continued, “Neil is a survivor. He has multiple sclerosis, he has had open-heart surgery, he beat stage four cancer, and he is now fighting COVID. Neil recently talked about the importance of vaccines on-air, precisely to protect people like him who have compromised immune systems.” Tapper added, “Sadly, many...

[H/T Greeneyes]Oh, it's a port backlog. It's CA's emissions rules, truck rules, container rules, etc. That's a lie.Denver just tried to fill nearly a thousand jobs at their airport. They had only 100 people show up for a job fair where they expected more than five thousand.Just two percent of their expected turnout. As a "federal" place all employees must be jabbed. Nobody wants the jobs and that's why.Literally nobody will take the job if it comes with a jab mandate.Further, and equally bad news, it doesn't matter if you "today" say you won't impose one. You might be lying; indeed it...

An Illinois mayor is standing against the statewide mask mandate issued earlier this year by Gov. J.B. Pritzker, lifting the requirement and making the measure optional in Elk Grove Village, a suburban community in northern Illinois. “We have to start moving on. We’re as safe as we can be. If you want to wear a mask, wear a mask,” Mayor Craig Johnson announced at a city council meeting, ABC 7 reported. “But it’s time to move on.” Pritzker, a Democrat, announced the statewide mask mandate in late August as he also ordered every eligible student, among other “high-risk settings,” to...

When he was a kid, Marquis Grissom Jr. would sometimes shed tears in the car on the ride home from youth baseball games. He cried because he heard “racist comments” from white opponents — players and especially parents, he said — as he competed on the field with an all-Black youth team in Atlanta. As the World Series plays out this weekend between the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros, the glaring lack of Black players on both teams, and MLB in general, is not lost on Grissom. The Braves and Astros each have one Black player on their World Series...

Fires raged. Rivers flooded. Ice melted. Droughts baked. Storms brewed. Temperatures soared. And people died. Climate change in 2021 reshaped life on planet Earth through extreme weather. World leaders are gathering in Scotland to try to accelerate the fight to curb climate change. So far, it’s not working, as the world keeps getting hotter and its weather more extreme, scientists and government officials say. They don’t have to point far back in time or far off for examples. There have been deadly floods in Belgium, Germany, China and Tennessee. Fire blazed in parts of the U.S. West, Greece and even...
