Hundreds of requests for details on the specifics of the container shipping backlog. So, I spent 3 days calling sources, digging for details and gathering information on the substantive issue at hand. The epicenter of the problem is not what is being outlined by financial media, corporate media and politicians who have a specific interest in distracting from the issues at hand. This has nothing to do with COVID-19. The issues being discussed today relate to events that happened a long time ago. As a matter of fact, it was so predictable that Amazon, Walmart, UPS, FedEx, Samsung, The Home...

The ABC and NBC evening news networks tried to sweep major warnings that Americans will face skyrocketing energy prices this winter under the rug for two straight days of coverage. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) released a devastating report Oct. 13 showing that “households across the United States will spend more on energy this winter compared with the past several winters.” The reason is because of “higher energy prices and because we assume a slightly colder winter than last year in much of the United States,” noted the EIA. The price spikes are enormous. The nearly half of U.S....

Nikolas Cruz will plead guilty to murdering 17 people in the Parkland school shooting massacre three years ago, his lawyer said Friday. The 23-year-old will change his plea during a scheduled court hearing in Florida next Wednesday. His attorney told Circuit Judge Elizabeth Scherer during a brief hearing on Friday that Cruz will plead guilty to 17 counts of first-degree murder in the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. The plea comes with no conditions, according to his attorney, which means Cruz will be fighting against the death penalty and hoping for life without parole.

VIDEOMSNBC's Mehdi Hasan says, "Sinema is DESTROYING Joe Biden's governing agenda, perhaps his entire presidency." Well, I think Sleepy Joe is accomplishing that all by himself but if it irks the left to think that Senator Kyrsten Sinema is the culprit, so be it especially since their hysteria over her is quite hilarious as you can see in this video.

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said Friday that she took her fight with the head of the city’s police officers union to court, arguing that his call for officers to ignore the order to report their COVID-19 vaccination status was illegal. The mayor said in a statement that the city’s law department filed a complaint in Cook County Circuit Court for injunctive relief against Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara, whom she accused of “engaging in, supporting and encouraging work stoppage or strike.” Lightfoot asked the court to prohibit the union and its officers from “engaging in...

The Biden administration will officially rejoin the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), reversing a 2018 Trump administration decision to leave the controversial body infamous for its relentless hostility toward Israel. Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley slammed the move Thursday to re-enter a cabal with odious abusers among its members. “If President Biden truly cared about human rights, he would keep us far away from the cesspool that is the UN Human Rights Council,” Haley told Fox News. Current members include China, Cuba, Russia, Venezuela, and some of the worst regimes in the world.

Odierno’s death Friday was announced in a statement by his family, according to The Associated Press. “The general died after a brave battle with cancer; his death was not related to COVID,” the family said. Chris Christie has joined the cavalcade of Republicans boosting party efforts to recapture Congress in midterm elections as a primer for a 2024 presidential bid. The former New Jersey governor is lending his political muscle to the Republican group handling redistricting, fundraising for the Republican Governors Association, and possibly hitting the road to stump for GOP candidates on the 2022 ballot — as so many of his ilk are already doing. But there is a key difference between Christie and the others: his willingness to criticize Donald Trump and his insistence the former president’s 2024 plans will not affect his...

[Catholic Caucus] Surviving “Synodality”For years now, ordinary Catholics have been barraged with a number of trendy buzzwords and catchy slogans: “A listening Church,” “accompaniment,” “pastoral,” and more. While these words are not necessarily wrong or inappropriate for ecclesial discourse, they often serve as a Trojan horse through which heterodoxy and heteropraxy emerge. As preparation for the “Synod on Synodality” begins, news regarding the extension of the German Church’s “Synodal Way” into 2023 has ensured that such ordinary Catholics will continue to hear the word “synodality” for the unforeseeable future. In his opening remarks for the synod’s preparatory phase, Pope Francis...

In the northern city of Trieste, for example, over 5,000 protesters flooded the port and rejected offers of free coronavirus tests while in Genoa the ferry terminal as well as the international airport terminal have been blocked by large anti-Green Pass manifestations. Along with strikes, employers are reporting unusually high numbers of workers calling in sick, Italian media report. Some 80 percent of Italians have received the vaccine, along with the four and a half million who have been infected with coronavirus...

It’s just the flu, bro. About half the country believes that the freedom of Americans is worth less than the perceived incremental increase in saving lives that would be achieved by a vaccine mandate. The only way to change this is some combination of 1. Americans changing their attitude about the importance of freedom, 2. educating people about the benefits of non-vaccine treatments, and 3. informing people that the benefits of the vaccine are considerably less than is being touted. Improving the American understanding of the importance of freedom requires taking back the education system. This is critical to do...

During an interview with ABC News on Thursday, Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo stated that the economy is in transition, “and as part of that transition, we are seeing high prices for some of the things that people have to buy.” And “the only way we’re going to get to a place where we work through this transition is if everyone in America and everyone around the world gets vaccinated.” Adeyemo said, “Today, we face an economy that’s in transition, and as part of that transition, we are seeing high prices for some of the things that people have to...

Thousands of British citizens may have received false negatives and been incorrectly told they don't have the coronavirus after receiving negative PCR tests but positive rapid lateral flow device (LFD) exams, according to The Associated Press. The United Kingdom's National Health Service said about 400,000 samples had been processed through a now-suspended testing lab, but 43,000 people may have been given incorrect negative PCR test results between Sept. 8 and Oct. 12, The Guardian reported. The Immensa Health Clinic Ltd. lab in central England has been suspended by the U.K. Health Security Agency (UKHSA) after the false negatives amid widespread...

[Catholic Caucus] Nancy Pelosi and Her BishopNancy Pelosi continues to stand against her Church’s teaching on abortion by literally calling out bishops she disagrees with (even the one in charge of her very own diocese). Not only does she speak about abortion from a contradictory Catholic position, she also explains her opinions in a fashion that proves that she has an anti-science perspective on the topic as well. Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone, the Archbishop of San Francisco and shepherd of Pelosi’s diocese, has continuously spoken out against her outlandish and hypocritical statements. Over the summer, Pelosi spoke about the Hyde Amendment...
