People who battled COVID-19, including those who weren’t sick enough to be hospitalized, may face an increased risk of major heart problems one year after infection, according to a new report. Researchers at the Veterans Affairs St. Louis Health Care System in Missouri found that COVID survivors who weren’t hospitalized had a 39 percent increased risk of developing heart failure in the first year compared to someone who never had the virus, Bloomberg reports. They also had a 119 percent increased risk of developing a potentially fatal blood clot and a 24 percent increased risk of having a stroke, the...

Beloved, in our EXPONENTIALLY lawless day, it is a time for Almighty God's blood-bought saints, who are possessors of ETERNAL LIFE to be faithful, NOT fearful. So many believers today are so fearful about the present and are shrinking away from Almighty God's ETERNAL TRUTHS while finding refuge in hiding in man-made vain solutions (Psalm 20:7-87, Prov. 3:5-6). Though they believe in God, they are just NOT WILLING to trust Him in the daily exercises of this life (Gen. 15:1, Josh. 1:6,7,9; Matt. 7:25-34,1 Cor. 10:31, 1 John 4:18; Rev. 1:17-18). These fears and unbelief produce division, disunity, discord, and...

We have all seen the horrible violence in Seattle in the last year or so. But now there’s a new battle, virtually under the radar. In 1932, the Union Gospel Mission began serving the poor and downtrodden in Seattle. But now this ministry which has been serving millions of meals through the years and providing many other services may have to shut its doors because of a decision by the Washington Supreme Court. The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is defending the mission. They write: “A Washington Supreme Court decision forces a religious nonprofit, Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, to hire employees...

New FBI statistics show that our nation is suffering a historic surge in violent crime — one that was entirely predictable. From 2019 to 2020, the US murder rate rose by an astounding 27 percent, the largest annual increase in at least the past 100 years. This spike is so far off the charts it’s hard to fathom. Even during the great surge of violence at the start of Prohibition, the murder rate never rose by more than 19 percent. Over the past three decades, the biggest prior increase was in 2015, the year after the Ferguson riots, when the...

New Zealand largely kept out Covid-19 by closing to the outside world, a policy accompanied by stimulus to keep the economy moving. Now the resulting labor shortages and surging demand, notably for housing, have led it to become one of the first developed economies to raise interest rates since the pandemic began.

This is the supplemental data from the latest Lancet study on Pfizer vaccine effectiveness after 5 months. I am trying to back into the ARR since I can't see where they mention it. I am specifically looking at Table 6 a. and b. and not understanding what I am seeing. It almost appears that 5 months after taking the Pfizer vaccine, you are MORE likely to test positive for Covid than if you had never received the vaccine. I doubt this is true or at least that they would make numbers public that reflected such an outcome. Can someone help...

Long before last month’s release of a 2016 FBI report about Operation Encore, the bureau’s probe into possible Saudi complicity in 9/11, top Trump administration officials swore under “penalty of perjury” that information in the report was a “state secret” whose public release was likely to cause “significant harm to the national security.”But when the 16-page report was finally made public on Sept. 11 following a declassification review ordered by President Biden the week before, no state secrets were apparent. A “redaction key” provided by the FBI to explain some deletions shows that only a few short bits and pieces...

Thursday, CNN political correspondent Dana Bash reacted to a statement put out by former President Donald Trump, which he described November 3, 2020 as a day of insurrection rather than the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6. Bash said on “New Day” that she was “physically sick reading that statement.” She said what makes her sick is that Trump continues to push that narrative.

resident Biden did not want to get booed by 9/11 family members at this year’s September 11th remembrance ceremony at the Memorial in New York City, as 1,800 family members and first responders sent him a letter saying he should not attend. In 2002, a group of family members filed suit against the Saudi government in federal court. It took 15 years and Congress amending the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act to get the lawsuit to the discovery phase. Yet the CIA, FBI, National Security Council, and the entire intelligence community continued to fight the declassification of the FBI’s investigation of...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—President Biden took a much-needed break from his 4-hour workdays and late-night Matlock binges to attend the Congressional Baseball Game this past weekend, but things quickly went south when he attempted to join the crowd in a rowdy "F*** Joe Biden" chant. "Yeah, that Biden guy is the worst!" said Biden. "F*** Joe Biden! F*** Joe Biden! Hehe, nothing like a rowdy chant at the old ball game, eh folks?" Panicked aides quickly grabbed him by the arms and dragged him out of sight to administer some additional meds. According to witnesses, Biden later returned to the game and...

“Educated idiots” is how my old man described college-educated people who were completely devoid of common sense and moral intelligence, or what Aristotle called “practical wisdom.” But what made them especially annoying was their arrogance, their assumption that because they were professionally credentialed in one area, they were equally knowledgeable about everything else. This perennial character flaw was recognized by the ancients. Socrates in his defense speech noted this presumptuous claim among the Athenians he questioned during his search for someone wiser than he. The poets and artisans, for example, because they had many useful skills and technical knowledge, “thought...

Americans are no longer living under representative government. We are living under government by the screen people, of the screen people, for the screen people. Joy PullmannBy Joy Pullmann OCTOBER 7, 2021 Yes, we’ve heard all about Joe Biden’s alleged vaccine mandate for private companies employing 100 or more people. It was all over the news even before he announced it on September 9. His announcement has jeopardized the employment of millions of Americans and increased worker shortages in critical domains such as health care. There’s only one problem. It’s all a mirage. Biden’s so-called vaccine mandate doesn’t exist —...

VIDEOSo why has Joe Biden PLUNGED so rapidly that he is now challenging Jimmy Carter for the lowest poll numbers in history? Well, Brian Williams completely ignores Biden's obvious incompetence and blames his poll plunge on "really crappy reporting." Of course, what Williams means by "really crappy reporting" is that the news media in unable to keep sad reality, such as the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, from seeping into their reports at times. What Brian wants is the media to lie as much as he does so as to protect Sleepy Joe from the consequences of his incompetence. As for "really crappy...

Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Tuesday put a bright spotlight on President Joe Biden's imprudent withdrawal from Afghanistan. At one point, Republican Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa asked Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, some simple yes-no questions about its consequences. "Has the military's task to defeat terror threats from Afghanistan gotten harder?" Ernst asked. "Yes," said Milley. "Does the Taliban and its other terror partners have more ability to train and prepare in Afghanistan now that we've left?" she asked. "More ability, yes," said Milley. Ernst then cited an inexplicable statement Biden made on...

Richard L. Cravatts, Ph.D., a Freedom Center Journalism Fellow in Academic Free Speech and President Emeritus of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East, is the author of Dispatches From the Campus War Against Israel and Jews. While vice president Kamala Harris has been conspicuously absent from her alleged role in securing the nation’s border, she did find time for an impromptu visit with students at George Mason University in Virginia recently. At that meeting, one of the tendentious students, clearly schooled in the heterodoxy in which oppressed and oppressor animate all discussions about the world, raised the issue of...
