The United State Postal Service has suspended all mail service, including parcle post and Priority Mail, to Australia and New Zeeland. Labor shortages are cited as the cause.

If they have an ounce of sense(yeah, right!) they’ll cut off all outside communications as well. Not just mail. Ya never know when some nefarious germs are gonna piggyback in on the 5G network or on some tiktok video. And close the ports while your at it. No flyovers. Make all NSW a restricted air space zone. Even alter the ISS if it makes a pass over any piece of Australia.

DeJoy, the US Post Master Genetal, I mean General, is shutting diown the mail service because....insert fake reason here....to further harm American business and such. Reduction and stoppage is happening in-country as well.
Much air freight goes in the belly of commercial flights carrying passengers. When places like Australia and New Zealand almost totally shut down passenger travel to their country, there is not enough space on the airplanes still flying.
Well, how do they expect any manual labor to be done if everyone is locked down in their home?

Last week or the week before we got no Saturday mail delivery, then we got a Sunday mail delivery. Not the special delivery kind which the PO now does on behalf of some private services, but the regular bills and junk mail delivery.
But "skilled migrants" and "foreign students" will be let in...
