The union representing Pennsylvania’s teachers is urging the state’s K-12 schools to require students and staff to wear masks. The Pennsylvania State Education Association said masking is a key step to ensuring students can go to school in person all year long. The question of mask requirements in schools has emerged as a volatile topic nationwide, even as COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations have spiked dramatically in recent weeks. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends students wear masks in school, regardless of their vaccination status, but it is not a requirement. Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf has said repeatedly...

New satellite images obtained by CNN show Russia may be preparing another test of its nuclear-powered cruise missile, known as "Skyfall"-- a controversial weapon that is designed to defeat US defense systems. The photos, which were captured on August 16 by the commercial satellite imaging company Capella Space, offer "strong indications Russia was preparing to test a nuclear-powered cruise missile" at a known launch site located near the Arctic Circle, experts at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies Center for Nonproliferation Studies who analyzed the photos told CNN. US officials are aware that Russia could be preparing another test of...

The FUBAR in Afghanistan is so large in scope and failure, the Pentagon appears to be throwing the White House under the bus; and they are being considerably obtuse while doing it…. or are they? If these reports from Daily Mail and Wall Street Journal are accurate, the Pentagon is claiming that Joint Chief’s Chairman General Mark Milley and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin warned Joe Biden about the pending collapse of Afghanistan if 2,500 troops were removed. However, both Milley and Austin are on record only a few weeks before the collapse saying exactly the opposite. (Via Wall Street Journal)...

A group of restaurants and other small businesses sued New York City and Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday for requiring customers show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter many indoor establishments. De Blasio’s mandate is “arbitrary, irrational, unscientific, and unlawful,” the business owners said in the 18-page suit, which was filed in New York State Supreme Court. Plaintiffs noted that the mandate contains no exceptions for people who cannot get a vaccine or those who had COVID-19 and have recovered, as studies have shown they enjoy some protection against re-infection. It also does not allow customers to choose instead...

Numerous videos have surfaced online that show the extent of the amount of weapons that Taliban terrorists have seized in Afghanistan following Democrat President Joe Biden’s debacle in the country. The New York Times reported that the Taliban have seized “hundreds of Humvees and pickup trucks they captured along with countless caches of weapons and ammunition,” which they have shown off on social media. White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan admitted during Tuesday’s press briefing that “a fair amount” of the billions of dollars in weaponry that the U.S. provided to Afghanistan had “fallen into the hands of the...

Woke General Mark Milley is running cover for the Biden regime, U.S. intelligence, and himself after reports that they warned Joe Biden not to pull out all troops from Afghanistan without negotiating a peace agreement. He admitted today that though they warned a “rapid collapse” was a very clear possibility, they didn’t expect it to be THIS rapid. “There was nothing that I or anyone else saw that indicated a collapse of this [Afghan] army or this government in 11 days,” he said at a press conference today. MILLEY: "There was nothing that I or anyone else saw that indicated...

On Wednesday’s broadcast of “CNN Newsroom,” Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) stated that after going to war against the Taliban, “we’re relying on that same Taliban to keep Americans safe,” and “to not start massacring people today.” And he doesn’t see how America will be able to get its allies out of Afghanistan. Moulton stated, “We went into Afghanistan 20 years ago. Because the Taliban harbored the terrorists that attacked us on 9/11. And now we’re relying on that same Taliban to keep Americans safe, to keep American citizens — they estimate between 10 and 15,000 American citizens are still in...

Customers at an Australian supermarket got an unexpected wildlife encounter after happening upon a 10-foot python slithering about the shelves. The accompanying 12-second footage shows the brilliantly speckled diamond python — which resides in coastal areas of New South Wales — jutting out from the spice aisle like a prop on a Disney “Jungle Cruise” ride. “It just wanted to say hello,” the surprised shopper said. “Dozens of people must have walked past it.” Alati, who coincidentally used to serve as a volunteer snake catcher, added that she was lucky it had popped out at her, saying, “Most people would...

Exchanging views on opposing the politicization of virus origins tracing and safeguarding history of World War II, the phone call between Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov covered major issues that concern the two countries and the world. Wang said that Russia has participated in the joint statement along with other countries and also sent a separate letter to the World Health Organization (WHO), opposing the politicization of the COVID-19 origins tracing and questioning the WHO's plan for the second phase of origins studies put forward by the WHO Secretariat. Former CIA analyst Matt Zeller said Wednesday on CNN’s “Newsroom” that the Trump Administration shut down the visa program for Afghans so “they’re as complicit” just as the Taliban were in the deaths of those trying to flee. Anchor Alisyn Camerota said, “It was so interesting to hear former senior advisor to President Trump, Stephen Miller, last night say the U.S. doesn’t owe these people anything. Listen to him.”

Chesa Boudin faces second recall after San Francisco saw more deaths from fentanyl overdoses than COVID last year. A second recall effort launched against San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin demonstrates how residents are "fed up" with his progressive policies, as his push to reduce jail funding and refusal to prosecute repeat offenders ensures the streets remain marred with open-air drug dealing and violent crime now stretching into the suburbs, a leader of the prominent local police union tells Fox News. Last week, the first Republican-backed recall effort fell just 1,714 signatures short of the 51,325 required to trigger a...

Forty years ago this month, Ronald Reagan signed the Economic Recovery Tax Act, a historic achievement of the national taxpayer revolt that found its conception in California in the early 1970s and ultimately demonstrated the powerful economic success of supply-side tax policy. These pro-taxpayer reforms — also known as Kemp-Roth, for congressional champions Rep. Jack Kemp (R-N.Y.) and Sen. Bill Roth (R-Del.) — significantly cut the top income tax rates from 70 percent to 50 percent, reduced and indexed for inflation business and capital gains, and ushered in more than two decades of unprecedented economic prosperity.
