Forty years ago this month, Ronald Reagan signed the Economic Recovery Tax Act, a historic achievement of the national taxpayer revolt that found its conception in California in the early 1970s and ultimately demonstrated the powerful economic success of supply-side tax policy.
These pro-taxpayer reforms — also known as Kemp-Roth, for congressional champions Rep. Jack Kemp (R-N.Y.) and Sen. Bill Roth (R-Del.) — significantly cut the top income tax rates from 70 percent to 50 percent, reduced and indexed for inflation business and capital gains, and ushered in more than two decades of unprecedented economic prosperity.

If government were smaller big-government spending wouldn’t be such a problem. We need a party to champion smaller government. Unfortunately we don’t have one.
For my entire adult life, I’ve heard nothing but “Stop deficit spending. Stop growing the debt. End big government.”
It will never happen. The Roman Empire died because of this very same problem. There is no way to check out-of-control government except total collapse.
I’m amazed we were able to do it during the Revolution, but we were throwing off an outside power, not a corrupt government monster grown up inside the walls.
Even if we could get a true “shrink the constitutional government” party, it would take 50 years alone to swallow the crap they dumped on us in 2021 and digest it. And that assumes they won’t keep doing the same irresponsible crap year after year after year...
We need to turn out EVERY Assistant Democrat
Flimsey Grahamnesty, Micro Rubio, Hoeven, Tillis, Cornyn, Lankford, Inhofe, Scott, Scott, Romney, McConnell, Cassidy, Thune, Ernst, Boozman, Murkowsky, Wicker, Hyde-Smith, Shelby, Blunt, Sasse, Toomey, Rounds, Portman, Burr, Lee, Capito, Crapo, Cramer, Barrasso, Risch, Sullivan, Moran and Collins are ALL Bush League Republicans
And that’s just the Senate, there are 145 House members that voted for Liz Cheney in Feb. to lead them (away from MAGA)
Demographics is destiny.
Except the tax cuts did nothing to counter big government spending. None of the tax cuts have.

Federal revenue from taxes remain roughly between 13 and 20% of the GDP. Changing tax laws has only marginal effect on revenue.
Furthermore, the Feds will just print more money to overcome the shortfall, no matter what. Eventually, and probably sooner than later, the whole house of cards will collapse. And it will take the whole world with it.
yeah we need it, but we aint gonna get it
