It never ceasing to amaze me what cops will do just because they know they can get away with it.

Cops have only two modes: donuts and attack. They do not understand the meaning of “response proportional to the situation.” If you do anything in front of them except act like a compliant sheep, you will be arrested/cuffed/sprayed/beaten/shot.
Is this much better than living under taliban rule?
I watched the press conference where their benevolent leaders were assuring parents they would take care of their children with plenty of police and nurses on hand. They will be physically restrained and given the jab.
As for the guys in blue, I support you, my son is one of you but you have a decision headed your way. Will you follow an illegal order or keep your oath. Spraying 12 year olds and rounding kids up from parents for forced medical treatments is not what peace officers do. The possible continuance of the USA may rest upon the decisions you officers make in the next few months. Choose wisely.

Lets be clear that NOT all LEOs are A@@HOLES like the ones in the video. However, the ones in the video make it hard to feel bad when bad things happen to LEOs. Until they clean their ranks of SCUM like these in the video, LEOs will reap what they sow. Clean your own house first before pepper spraying 12 year olds!!!!
Defunding the police is an nihilist / anarchist idea.
We need to put the blame squarely where it belongs...at the root.
The politicians.
The police aren't making up these mandates on their own. They are told by the politicians, to whom they report to, to enforce these mandates.
Now, they shouldn't "just follow orders" is a valid point to a degree (what orders/laws to they themselves choose not to follow or enforce?)....but the root of all this is the politicians.
They are the ones that deserve the blame, our wrath, our condemnation.
....and obviously, the idiot who pepper sprayed the 12 year old should be put on administrative leave (unpaid) and investigated for abuse of power.

The police officer needs to be charged with assault of a minor.

They’re powerless without enforcers.
Formerly, it was common to see remarks on FR that when it came down to brass tacks "they" would not be able to withstand "us" because the cops would not side with "them." That reflected a total misunderstanding of the bureaucratic mentality. Cops, after all, are bureaucrats in uniform. They are more often than not extremely helpful. But when it comes down to it, they wear a uniform and people who wear uniforms follow orders.
