There is no single formula for living wholly dependent upon the Lord. All I can offer you is what God has been teaching me in this area. He has shown me two ways where I must give him full control. First, I must be convinced that the Lord is anxious and willing to make his will known to me, even in the smaller details of my life. I must believe that the Spirit who abides in me knows God’s will for me, and that he will guide me and speak to me. “When he, the Spirit of truth, has come,...

As the American left argues openly for socialism, it's helpful to keep in mind just how dreadfully those policies have failed — and just how viciously socialists have responded to those who got in the way — in countries throughout the world. Watch the recent protests in Cuba and you will see how regular people feel about the direction the American left wants to take. They aren't happy. Since the Communist revolution in 1959, leftists in America have celebrated purported Cuban progress in areas such as health care and education. Little mention was made in those quarters about the Cuban...

NFL Network commentator Rich Eisen says he has been infected with the coronavirus despite being fully vaccinated. Yet, he still suggests that people get vaccinated. “Double-vaxxed. COVID+. It’s possible, folks. As someone sitting Day 4 in quarantine fighting off symptoms, I can personally attest you still need to be careful and, most importantly, get vaccinated,” Eisen wrote on his Instagram account. Eisen sys he took both doses of the Pfizer vaccine in February but now he is experiencing symptoms, though he did not specify what symptoms. Still, he claimed that his infection would be worse if he hadn’t taken the...

RICHMOND — Republican gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin’s campaign announced Monday that the political newcomer with ties to Virginia Beach would not debate Democratic nominee Terry McAuliffe at a perennial event hosted by the state bar association, in part because of the journalist moderator. Jeff Roe, a strategist for Youngkin, told The Associated Press the campaign felt veteran journalist Judy Woodruff would not be an impartial moderator of the Virginia Bar Association debate that had been scheduled for later this month. He said the campaign took issue with a $250 charitable donation Woodruff made over a decade ago to Clinton Foundation...

The most highly cited physician on the early treatment of COVID-19 has come out with an explosive new video that blows the lid off the medical establishment’s complicity in the unnecessary deaths of tens of thousands of Americans. “We have now a whistleblower inside the CMS, and we have two whistleblowers in the CDC. We think we have 50,000 dead Americans. Fifty thousand deaths. So we actually have more deaths due to the vaccine per day than certainly the viral illness by far. It’s basically propagandized bioterrorism by injection.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) blamed the “absurdly cruel” U.S. embargo of Cuba on Thursday for the nation’s turmoil, singling out “Trump-era restrictions” on the socialist state as driving the unrest. In her first formal statement responding to the protests that have rocked Havana’s Communist dictatorship, the Bronx Congresswoman says she backed the protesters. In a statement posted on Twitter, she then laid out where the blame should be laid: She said the repressive Havana regime was not the only cause of the island nation’s troubles: We also must name the U.S. contribution to Cuban suffering: our sixty-year-old embargo. Last month,...

Source: Gabriella Borter/Joy Reid, in May, aired a clip of an “angry white parent” in Missouri who’d had enough of the distorted critical race theory (CRT) being crammed down her kid’s throat by a smug mob of woke educators. “Just because I do not want critical race theory taught to my children in school does not mean I’m a racist, damn it!” she blurted through tears. She, and others in places like Loudoun County, Virginia, speak for millions whose kids are taught CRT without their input, against their wills, with threats to keep silent. When parents do speak up, they’re...

Brinvilliers, Marie Marguerite, Marquise de (English Wikipedia entry | French) who obtained infamy as a poisoner in the time of Louis XIV, was a daughter of the Dreux d’Aubrai, a lieutenant civil, or judge having a certain limited jurisdiction, at whose hands she received a careful education. In 1651, whilst still very young, she became the wife of the Marquis de Brinvilliers, with whom she resided at her father’s house, in Paris. Her husband, who was the colonel of the Regiment de Normandie, entertained at his house a young officer of cavalry of the Regiment de Tracy, named Gaudin de...

VIDEOS AT LINK............. Maricopa County in Arizona has been ground zero for a forensic audit of the 2020 election. Audit teams have painstakingly gone through ballots to look for any discrepancies. The results were partially given today during the Arizona Senate hearing (see bel0w). According to the audit team, there are “major discrepancies with ballots from the election. There are numerous other troubling details (see below). According to the Arizona GOP Chairwoman, “This is far from over.” They haven’t even gotten to the good stuff yet. After the hearing, the news blew up on social media with video from the...

Republican "anti-voting" laws, President Joe Biden claimed during his demagogic speech at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia this week, are the most "significant test of our democracy since the Civil War." These laws are "odious," "pernicious," "vicious," "unconscionable," a "subversion" and "suppression," the "21st-century Jim Crow" and the sure sign of an emerging "autocracy." Biden's fabricated panic offers lots of space for hyperbole but precious little room for specifics. I was prepared to fact-check Biden's contentions about new election laws, but the president offered few details. Perhaps he comprehends that most Americans would probably find voter-integrity laws rather innocuous....

Arizona senator Wendy Rogers demands Biden electors be recalled and new election held. to turn over, & tens of thousands of unauthorized queries demonstrating how insecure the election was, I call for the Biden electors to be recalled to Arizona & a new election must be conducted. In the 2020 CARES Act, Congress gave student-loan borrowers a temporary break from repaying their loans. President Trump extended that twice and President Biden once, with loan payments now set to resume Oct. 1, 2021. Borrowers could have kept paying if they wanted to, but almost nobody did. As Tom Lee of the American Action Forum recently explained, the portion of borrowers repaying their student loans dropped from 46% at the beginning of 2020 to 1% today. The portion of borrowers in forbearance rose from 10% to 57%. The rest include borrowers who are still in school, who have gotten...

Just before last November's presidential election, two former Army officers wrote an open letter to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a man called Mark Milley. The letter was published on a left-wing blog called "Defense One." Within minutes it was all over the Internet. The authors of the letter had a direct order for Mark Milley, who strictly speaking did not report to them. "If Donald Trump refuses to leave office," the letter began, "the United States military must remove him by force, and you must give that order." You must remove the president by force. That...

LEVELLAND, Texas (KCBD) - An LSO SWAT Commander was killed and four other officers were injured in a deadly SWAT standoff in Levelland. Law enforcement secured the area near 10th Street and Avenue J around 2 p.m. Thursday, and worked to push back the perimeter as the subject, later identified by law enforcement as 22-year-old Omar Soto-Chavira, fired shots “in all directions” from inside. Soto-Chavira then surrendered to officers around 11:30 p.m. He was transported to Lubbock to be treated for his injuries. Three responding officers were treated for their injuries and released. Sgt. Shawn Wilson with Levelland Police was...

More than two dozen electric Proterra buses first unveiled by the city of Philadelphia in 2016 are already out of operation, according to a WHYY investigation. The entire fleet of Proterra buses was removed from the roads by SEPTA, the city's transit authority, in February 2020 due to both structural and logistical problems—the weight of the powerful battery was cracking the vehicles' chassis, and the battery life was insufficient for the city's bus routes. The city raised the issues with Proterra, which failed to adequately address the city's concerns. The city paid $24 million for the 25 new Proterra buses,...

Doug Ross runs a Top 20 Tweets from BadBlue Tonight feature: last night this came in at #16. Not something you often see. Route of the Tour de France temporarily blocked by llamas in fog. Photo from TdF Race Radio. pic.twitter.com/RSC5abj6I0 — John O'Connell (@jdpoc) July 15, 2021It turns out the photo is actually from the Tour de France a few years ago but since it got retweeted it qualifies and I think it deserves a much higher ranking than 16, based solely on the responses it engendered. While many observed that “Llamas in the Fog” would make an exceptionally...

It looks like the post-modern lot has finally reached what many would think to be a sacred science that usurps the boundaries of racism, equality or wokeness: mathematics. In Ontario, students in Grade 9 are now being taught about the “subjective” nature of math, including the historical use of math to “normalize racism”, according to the Toronto Sun. Education Minister Stephen Lecce announced last year that changes in Ontario’s curriculum are inclusive of a ‘subjective’ and ‘decolonial’ approach to mathematics, the report says. The Ontario Ministry’s website says “an equitable mathematics curriculum recognizes that mathematics can be subjective”. The post...

Background: I’ve known Jackie for at least a decade. I met her while she was working at a local gym as a personal trainer, a grueling 12 hour/day job. A few years ago, she was experiencing burnout and decided to move to Spain to teach English in primary school. We reconnected a few weeks ago after not speaking for a few years. As we were catching up it became clear to me that several of her political opinions had changed. I remembered her as a typical New York liberal and now she sounded like … a libertarian. I asked her...

Did you know that Black people are not going to be allowed to vote in America anymore? At least in states controlled by Republicans. Sounds a bit unlikely, but that's a conclusion you might have come to if you took seriously what President Joe Biden said in Philadelphia on Tuesday. Biden decried Republicans' proposed changes in election laws as "the 21st century Jim Crow assault" that tries "to suppress and subvert the right to vote in fair and free elections, an assault on democracy." This is, to be polite, unhinged nonsense. Biden is old enough to remember what real Jim...
