We previously reported on the troubling expansion of satellite offices of the Capitol Police being planned across the country. Unlike other federal government-related police which are subject to FOIA and part of the executive branch, the Capitol Police are under the control of Congress and not subject to FOIA. So, basically you have a police force controlled by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spreading out across the country. I’m not a conspiracy fan, but you don’t have to be to find that problematic. Now, there’s more that is setting off the alarm bells in my head. Not only will they be...

It’s being kind to call the last year and a quarter of public school – basically everything since March of 2020 – a disaster. Randi Weingarten, head of the American Federation of Teachers, is determined to forget everything about it. Much like the kids who forget everything they’ve ever learned over summer break – if they learned it at all in this last year – Randi Weingarten has blanked about how her teachers’ union helped keep schools closed, then bent the ear of the CDC to push schools into either staying closed or meeting extraordinarily high distancing and masking requirements...

A cruise on one of the first vessels to restart operations in Alaska is ending early after two passengers and a crew member tested positive for COVID-19. Small-ship specialist American Cruise Lines‘ 170-passenger American Constellation is returning to its home port of Juneau, Alaska, four days ahead of schedule after the positive cases were discovered on Friday. The ship was visiting the small Alaska town of Petersburg at the time. “American Cruise Lines has implemented its COVID-19 response plan in Alaska and is coordinating with state and local health officials following the detection of COVID-19 on board,” the line said...

We who believe have been translated from a kingdom of darkness into a kingdom of light! Jesus said “come and let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow”. Jesus took our sins away from us and put them behind His back where He remembers them no more. There are some who think they are kings and can take away the freedoms we own. Jesus only takes away from us what is not good for our souls to fly free. He replaces our old nature with a new nature and the Holy Spirit...

Six minute clip of an American television series and the original British one it was based on about mad scientist types who unleash a pandemic on the world so as to be able to unleash a vaccine that sterilizes people because they believe the Earth should only have about 500 million people.

According to a report from The Tampa Free Press this month, there are now 1,930 counties – roughly sixty-one percent of total counties in the United States – that are considered safe spaces for firearms owners, and more than half of those (1,137 in total) have passed Second Amendment Sanctuary laws. Many of the other aforementioned counties are in the twenty-one states that have adopted Constitutional Carry laws, which allow gun owners to carry a concealed weapon without a permit.

A school board in Tennessee voted earlier this week to approve termination charges against a tenured teacher accused of insubordination and repeated unprofessional conduct after he gave multiple assignments focusing on white privilege but failed to present opposing points of view. WJHL News reported, “The Sullivan County Board of Education Tuesday voted 6-1 that the charges of dismissal against teacher Matthew Hawn are true and warranted.” According to the outlet, some former students gathered at the meeting to voice their support for Hawn District officials pointed to two separate incidents that they said violated the Tennessee Teacher Code of Ethics,...

This date in 1780 saw three men and two women hanged at various spots around London for the previous month’s Gordon Riots. They were the first five souls among 19 who would suffer the last extremity of the law for that disturbance. The eponymous Protestant Lord George Gordon, had inflamed a mob against the 1778 Papists Act, which disencumbered British Catholics of some of their legal disabilities. (In part to pad out the redcoat ranks as the army found itself stretched thin by the American Revolution.) The Gordon Riots started from Lord Gordon’s march on Parliament to serve it an...

o bad idea ever dies. That is the mournful lesson we are being taught daily by the partisans of so-called “critical race theory,” the disciples of “equity,” and the shock troops of Antifa and Black Lives Matter. There are some local differences, of course—differences of fashion and vocabulary, mostly—but to a large extent the present radicalisms are a reprise of the radicalisms of the 1960s, which in turn were recapitulations of the radicalisms of the French Revolution filtered through the argot of Marxism. Perhaps the biggest difference between our situation now, circa 2021, and the long decade of the 1960s...

President Joe Biden has “legalized corruption” by placing more than 15 former WestExec members in key places within his administration, the Intercept revealed Wednesday. “It’s a remarkable march through the revolving door” for the more than 15 former WestExec members to be selected for such powerful positions, “especially for a firm that only launched in 2017” according to the report. “WestExec’s consultants are so connected and pedigreed that they often hold down multiple jobs, appointments, and titles,” the Intercept wrote. *** The notable individuals who previously worked at WestExec are as follows: Jen Psaki, White House press secretary Tony Blinken,...

This experiment has derailed. It’s not similar in any way since Republicans aren’t this crazy concerning political correctness, but there was a dominant wing of the party that simply had to be told to get to the back of the bus around 2016. The neoconservative project derailed post-Iraq War. Americans were not going to keep a GOP majority in Congress over national security fears. They were tired of endless wars. They were not patient over this nation-building nonsense. They saw the bill we paid, what we got, and we’re not pleased. With Democrats, their ascendant ‘woke’ wing is more of...

Train services in Iran were delayed by apparent cyberattacks on Friday, with hackers posting the phone number of the country's supreme leader as the number to call for information, state-affiliated news outlets reported. Trains were delayed or canceled as ticket offices, the national railway's website and cargo services were disrupted, with "unprecedented chaos at railway stations across the country," the state broadcaster IRIB reported. A notice on electronic boards at stations asked travelers to call a number which in fact belonged to the office of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, IRIB and the semi-official news agency Fars said.

A Super New Theory to Explain Superconductivity By UNIVERSITY OF TSUKUBA JULY 10, 2021 Electricity Superconductivity Concept A researcher at the University of Tsukuba introduces a new theoretical model of high-temperature superconductivity, in which electrical current can flow with zero resistance, which may lead to extremely efficient energy generation and transmission. A scientist from the Division of Quantum Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Tsukuba has formulated a new theory of superconductivity. Based on the calculation of the “Berry connection,” this model helps explain new experimental results better than the current theory. The work may allow future electrical grids...

Dear Ellen, Is it rude not to answer the door when you’re not expecting anyone? — Home BodyDear Home Body,...As for strangers showing up at your door unannounced, you are absolutely under no obligation to answer. The only exception is if you live in a remote location and they need help. Even then, you might want to call a neighbour or 911 rather than fling open the door to potential thieves or post-apocalyptic zombies. Remember, it’s always better to risk being rude than risk being beaten, or eaten.

New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went to head with Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebart on Twitter Saturday, using the congresswoman’s comments to condemn "good ol conservative values." Speaking from the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Boebert, a divisive figure in the GOP spoke to a cheering crowd about her role in Congress. "We’re here to tell government we don’t want your benefits. We don’t want your welfare. Don’t come knocking on my door…you leave us the hell alone," she said to cheers. But the Republican’s comments struck a chord with another polarizing figure on the other side of the...

It’s been one of those weeks; I can’t take any more affairs of state, stories of cultural suicide or tales from the dark side. I’ve no capacity today for the arrogance and contemptuous intolerance of the woke amongst us.And since man cannot live on outrage and anger alone I give you…food! Vicarious food, so completely calorie and guilt free. Starting with a report back on last Sunday’s diversion, the vinegar free refrigerator pickles. I tasted them after 2 days as the recipe said you could and found them to be a bit meh. Then they got lost and forgotten in...
