A new poll published over the weekend indicates that 64% of those surveyed believe it's "time for someone else" to occupy Sen. Chuck Grassley's (R-Iowa) Senate seat, the Des Moines Register reports. Why it matters: Grassley hasn't said yet whether he plans to seek re-election in 2022, but with an evenly divided Senate, "Iowa's race is one of the most closely watched" in the country, according to Politico.

Aside from the medical and scientific community having blood on their hands over politicizing the biggest medical calamity of our time, their future credibility is shot. For the past year and a half of COVID, we have been told by those supposedly in the know, to “follow the science.” Those who question the science are at best called names, like “deniers” or “racists”, and at worst, lose their jobs and reputations, and are banned from social media. One gets an appreciation for what scientists of centuries ago endured as they questioned science dogma of the day such as the Earth...

Donald Trump has endorsed conservative Rep. Ted Budd in North Carolina’s critical Senate race, the former president's first foray into an open primary in a battleground. That state's retiring Republican senator has other ideas. Sen. Richard Burr praised North Carolina's former GOP governor, Pat McCrory, as “the only one in the race that can win the general election" for the seat Burr is vacating. “Pat McCrory has a commanding advantage," Burr added. Behind the scenes, Burr is even less subtle about next year's Senate battle. One Republican senator said Burr is “telling everyone that McCrory is the only one that...

Politics is downstream from culture, and when the "madness of crowds" takes over, blood is never too far behind. How far along are we into America's Maoist Cultural Revolution? Well, Tumblr encourages users to choose from 112 different genders and another 73 distinct sexual attractions that can be mixed and matched in order to "create the orientation that best describes you." Hmmm. Math is racist. White Democrats think black Americans can't figure out how to get a voter ID. And Tumblr believes there are at least 8,176 gender identities — for right now, mind you. A year from now, Tumblr's...

After fifteen months of assiduous reading, study, observation, and research, I have come to some conclusions about what is called COVID-19. I would like to emphasize that I have done this work obsessively since it seemed so important. I have consulted information and arguments across all media, corporate and alternative, academic, medical, books, etc. I have consulted with researchers around the world. I have read the websites of the CDC, the World Health Organization, and government and non-government health organizations. In other words, I have left no stone unturned, despite the overt or covert political leanings of the sources. I...

Despite having their weapons seized and pleading guilty to charges in connection with pointing guns at Black Lives Matter rioters on their private property during the summer of 2020, Mark and Patricia McCloskey appeared defiant Saturday, posting a picture of a new AR-15 the St. Louis couple intends to buy. Twtter Link"Checking out my new AR!" Mark McCloskey tweeted along with two pictures: one with McCloskey at a gun store with the owner, and another with him and his wife, Patricia. In both, he is holding an AR-15 rifle. The picture came just two days after the McCloskeys pleaded guilty...

Adam Bielan has formally announced the creation of a new political party that will become part of the governing United Right coalition. Bielan, a former member of Agreement, a junior member of Poland's United Right ruling coalition, broke the news at a congress in Warsaw on Sunday. "We are establishing the Republican Party as a representation of citizens who value the idea of freedom... individual and national freedom... socially sensitive economic freedom," he said. "We are, and will remain part of the United Right, the most successful political project of the Polish right in history," he added.

A Philadelphia food festival was condemned for banning an Israeli food truck on 'safety' grounds after telling the small business owners they feared its presence would trigger violent protests. The city's A Taste of Home event, organized by local food group Eat up the Borders, announced the food truck - Moshava Philadelphia - was no longer welcome to attend just a month after Moshava launched its business at the very same event. Moshava's cancellation triggered a huge backlash, with supporters insisting that A Taste of Home would have happily hired security to protect any other nationality that had received such...

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms blamed the city's crime wave on state Republicans lifting COVID-19 restrictions too early and lax gun laws. In an interview with MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle on Friday, the mayor attributed a 50 percent increase in homicides, in part, to lax gun laws, teenagers having too much free time on their hands and the state lifting its COVID-19 restrictions back in April. 'Remember, in Georgia, we were opened up before the rest of the country, even before the CDC said that it was safe for us to open,' Bottoms explained to Ruhle.

Dr Anthony Fauci has again claimed that people who criticize him for his COVID-19 'flip-flopping' are actually condemning science itself. The White House coronavirus tsar struck a cranky tone in an upcoming New York Times podcast interview, where he claimed any changes in his recommendations were solely based on evolving data as the COVID crisis continued. Fauci said: 'It is essential as a scientist that you evolve your opinion and your recommendations based on the data as it evolves...

The company scrapped 123 flights on Saturday and 178 flights on Sunday, with 97 more canceled for Monday. All airlines are dealing with staffing issues connected to the coronavirus pandemic; in March 2020, when air travel all but stopped, thousands of employees were laid off or accepted buyouts, and now that people are flying again, there aren't enough workers. American Airlines said its catering contractor and wheelchair operators also aren't fully staffed.

After a year of COVID-19, it is easy to hit the panic button when it comes to mini-outbreaks. But such brief surges are “completely expected,” and it is not yet time to raise a red flag, health experts told The Jerusalem Post. The audience at a performance in Beit She’an last Thursday was asked to enter quarantine after discovering that an attendee was coronavirus-positive, raising concerns. In addition, there were outbreaks – some large – at several schools.

The Internal Revenue Service denied a Christian nonprofit group tax-exempt status because the Bible's "teachings are typically affiliated with" the GOP and its candidates. “Specifically, you educate Christians on what the Bible says in areas where they can be instrumental including the areas of sanctity of life, the definition of marriage, biblical justice, freedom of speech, defense, and borders and immigration, U.S. and Israel relations,” read a letter from IRS Exempt Organizations Director Stephen Martin to Christians Engaged, a nonprofit group seeking tax-exempt status. “The Bible teachings are typically affiliated with the [Republican Party] and candidates. This disqualifies you from...
