Chaotic N.C. Senate primary tests Trump's sway over the GOP

Donald Trump has endorsed conservative Rep. Ted Budd in North Carolina’s critical Senate race, the former president's first foray into an open primary in a battleground. That state's retiring Republican senator has other ideas.

Sen. Richard Burr praised North Carolina's former GOP governor, Pat McCrory, as “the only one in the race that can win the general election" for the seat Burr is vacating. “Pat McCrory has a commanding advantage," Burr added.

Behind the scenes, Burr is even less subtle about next year's Senate battle. One Republican senator said Burr is “telling everyone that McCrory is the only one that has a chance to win.” And the laid-back incumbent, who voted to convict Trump of inciting an insurrection in February, also appeared puzzled by the former president's decision-making in North Carolina.

“I can’t tell you what motivates him," Burr said of Trump. "I’ve never seen individuals endorse a candidate a year before the primary. That’s unusual.”

The Establishment is SOOOOOO pissed that Trump endorsed Budd. For Trump removed McCrory's "commanding advantage." McCrory had a 26 point lead over Budd. But after Trump's endorsement, McCrory is now 19 points BEHIND Budd.

Oh, and another tell-tale sign - three reporters worked on this story.

Burr the corrupt Deep State tool wants to score going out the door.

President Trump’s endorsement rocketing Budd in polling causing the treacherous Deep State Burr agita.

It’s all good. 🦁

Republicans had a truly golden oopportunity to fully support Trump during and after he left office....they should be doing so now. But they’re like the Palestinians... “they never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.”

Even if Pres. Trump decides not to run he can certainly galvanize his supporters behind whoever it is. There’s not a single Republican who can do that as well.

“... Sen. Richard Burr praised North Carolina’s former GOP governor, Pat McCrory, as “the only one in the race that can win the general election ...”

So in other-words, they had the Dominion machines all oiled up and ready to give RINO McCrory the victory until Trump screwed their plans. The globalist Masonic brothers don’t like that. Burr is one of the coup plotters. /spit.

Senators that voted for the fake impeachments are nothing to me. I’d value the opinion of a homeless bum higher.

If Burr endorses McRory then that’s all I need to know. I’m voting for Budd.

Nobody as politically tone deaf and lacking in self awareness as Burr should comment on political motivations.

McCrory was a good governor who was beaten by Cooper in a corrupt election that was the precursor of the crooked 2020 contest.

Watching a company self destruct is truly fascinating.
They go through the same processes in the same order (I have worked for several that have gone under in my lifetime, and once you get over the initial shock that it is going to implode, it is a fascinating study).

The same thing applies to people. Watching them self destruct is fascinating.
There are 2 things to watch for when a company or person is self destructing.... desperation and stupidity, and not necessarily in that order.

So, just sit back and watch as the bush league chamber of commerce worshiping republiCAN’Ts self destruct.

Enjoy

A Dominion voting machine will “put Budd in his place” and keep the RINOs in office. Unless all the corruption which prevailed in 2020 is flushed out; which I doubt will happen. Who has the backbone and the gonads to MAKE it happen?
