It seems that evasive answers are just fine for our current executive branch of government when confronted with very serious questions. "Will keep you posted", "Will circle back", or some other rehearsed rhetoric designed to deflect attention away from their responsibility to act immediately to address an immediate problem.

Etute then returned to the apartment on May 31 for another meet-up, at which point he discovered the person he had matched up with this time was male, according to Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Jason Morgan, citing details the now-suspended linebacker told cops. Etute told investigators he punched Smith five times in the face and “stomped” on him, but didn’t call police despite hearing “bubbling and gurgling” from the victim as he left the apartment. Cops found the badly beaten man’s body one day later, the newspaper reported.

The Group of Seven (G7) nations, including the United States and six other wealthy countries, recently announced they had reached an agreement to impose a minimum global corporate tax rate on multinational companies and would be amending long-held international tax principles and rules. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen hailed the announcement as a victory that would end the global “race to the bottom” on taxation. But in truth, what the G-7 proposed is a bad deal for America’s sovereignty, American businesses, and taxpayers. The agreement has two main components. The first is to implement a new tax rule. Currently, corporations pay taxes...

YOU STILL NEED A MASK California's workplace safety board late Wednesday walked back a vote it took just last week to relax COVID-19 rules on masks and social distance, instead choosing to leave in place standards from the peak of the pandemic that require employees to wear masks whenever they are less than six feet away from someone else. "Immediate action is also required to protect the public interest to avoid confusion regarding the requirements of the workplace safety standards, which would make both enforcement and compliance unduly difficult," board staff said in a letter calling for Wednesday's meeting. Earlier...

President Biden on Friday tried to coax reporters to jump into the ocean at a seaside photo op in England, snidely joking, “everybody in the water” on the opening day of the annual G7 summit, which is expected to focus on plans for a global 15 percent tax as well as responses to COVID-19, global warming and cybercrime. Biden made the crack as he and first lady Jill Biden stood on a raised platform on a Cornish beach with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife, Carrie Johnson.

We were treated to what at first appeared to be rare mea culpa this week as reporters read the Department of the Interior inspector general’s report on the riots and police response in Lafayette Park last summer and appeared shocked to find that the Park Police and Attorney General Bill Barr and even President Donald Trump were telling the truth when they said the crowd was going to be dispersed before police knew the president was thinking of coming down there. It’s rare to see what looks remotely like self-reflection in our self-obsessed corporate media, so it would be nice to...

Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that his state will push forward and build its own wall at the southern border. Abbott revealed the Lone Star State’s plans to Breitbart shortly before a border summit in Del Rio, Texas on Thursday. Those plans were confirmed at the summit and reported by CBS Dallas-Fort Worth. “I will announce next week the plan for the state of Texas to begin building the border wall in the state of Texas,” he declared at the event.

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do...

Medical Jim Crow in the U.S. Military – Unvaccinated West Point Cadets Forced to Live in a Single Tent We’ve seen numerous examples in recent weeks of medical, Jim Crow-style segregation in the United States. Although prior examples revolved around public spheres for American citizens, these latest reports reveal the same treatment inflicted upon unvaccinated West Point cadets. According to parents of cadets, those unvaccinated from the experimental COVID-19 jabs were forced to cram together in the same tent. And this treatment will continue for the duration of summer training. Trending: New Video Shows Antifa Breaking into the Capitol Building...

Many Americans—focused on their businesses, careers, home, and family—prefer to ignore the political battles and attendant controversy dividing our country. But neutrality is no longer an option. Alexis de Tocqueville wrote about Americans’ love of being left alone. He called it “individualism,” and he fretted that one of the risks to our experiment in self-government was the tendency to retreat from questions concerning the public—political questions—in favor of enjoying our private lives. The risk, he recognized, was that retreating would enable subversion of the whole polity by people manipulating it for their own gain. Sound familiar? Our society has morphed...

There are times, especially in DC politics, when we get so wrapped up in analyzing the problems that we miss the underlying message. A perfect example may have been happening the last few days with Kamala Harris and Jill Biden waging a shade war against each other, and the White House appears to be backing Biden in the match. A flippant comment by Harris regarding why she hasn’t been to the border was widely covered by conservative media. We generally mocked and insulted her for the seemingly nonsensical reply, but what if there was more to it? During an interview...

Thursday on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) weighed in on Biden chief medical advisor Anthony Fauci’s approach to determining the origins of COVID-19 and the reluctance to blame the Chinese government for the introduction of the virus. The South Carolina Republican lawmaker suggested the efforts to frame the so-called lab-leak theory as a conspiracy theory were to deflect attention from a “relationship” some within the U.S. government had with the Wuhan lab.

Hoover Institution Senior Fellow Victor Davis Hanson joined Fox News to rip the Federal Reserve for being more concerned with targeting gender pronouns than dangerous inflation. Fox News host Tucker Carlson said during the June 10 edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight that he obtained a Federal Reserve memo instructing employees to dispense with “offensive” words and phrases. Carlson said these words included: “‘Founding Fathers,’ ‘man-made,’ and singular pronouns like ‘he’ or ‘her.’” Hanson was not having any of it. Hanson explained that the Federal Reserve being woke was “characteristic of all bureaucracies, that when they can’t solve an existential problem,...

The COVID-19 vaccine story is currently dominated by three drugs: The Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech mRNA drugs, and the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. I recently dissected the dubious science behind the latter two drugs here and here. As my previous articles explained at length, the science supposedly supporting the Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca drugs is a bad joke. It is also a matter of record that both Pfizer and AstraZeneca are corporate criminals, having racked up billions in penalties over the last two decades for a host of dishonesty offenses including fraud, bribery and false marketing. The world is now being asked to forgive...

Under the Biden regime, US Border Patrol agents are being told not to arrest human smugglers offloading groups of illegal immigrants into the US right in front of them. A Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officer told the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) that all federal officers who work along the river are now subject to this “stand-down” attitude for operations. CIS relates a now increasingly common scene: “The Border Patrol agents working under the international bridge here got busy fast with ‘processing’ duty after the first three rubber rafts delivered their loads of illegal immigrant families. But with...

“Bishop” T.D. Jakes blasted white evangelical Christians during a “woke” interview with the far-left magazine, “The Atlantic.” Jakes, pastor of The Potter’s House Church in Texas, was interviewed for a story titled, “T.D. Jakes on How White Evangelicals Lost Their Way.” “I think white evangelicals lost sight of “What would Jesus do?” because they only define Jesus in very narrow terms,” Jakes told the leftist magazine. It sounds like something Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton would say. Is the black bishop simply misinformed or does he harbor bigoted feelings toward white Christians? Following, is the pertinent portion of the interview:...

Now it seems that lawmakers in New York State have given final approval to legislation that could allow civil lawsuits to be brought against gun makers and dealers. The measure, if signed by Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, would make the Empire State the first to allow civil suits against firearms companies. It would circumvent the federal law that offers legal immunity to the firearms industry by amending state nuisance law.
