Enoch enjoyed close fellowship with the Lord. In fact, his communion with God was so intimate that the Lord translated him to glory long before his life on earth might have ended. “By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, ‘and was not found, because God had taken him’; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God” (Hebrews 11:5, NKJV). Why did the Lord choose to translate Enoch? The opening word of this verse tells us very plainly that it was because of his faith. Moreover, the closing phrase tells...

FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX19) - Kentucky will roll out an incentive program for people to get vaccinated, Gov. Andy Beshear said on Tuesday. The move comes as 2.06 million Kentuckians, or 46 percent of the state’s population, are at least partially vaccinated, according to Kentucky’s vaccination data. Beshear has previously stated he would consider incentive programs for vaccinations, even saying he would be willing to copy Ohio’s Vax-a-Million lottery as several other states have done. “Any idea will be considered. We are willing to steal any good idea that other states have had,” the governor said last week. Ohio saw a...

It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t love a good steal — but there are a few pieces that are worth splurging on. For some, it’s an iconic handbag, and for others, it could be a piece of jewelry that they’ve been saving up for. Somehow, for editors and influencers alike, the one thing they’ll always shell out for is a great pair of shoes. “When I invest in my wardrobe, shoes and bags are always my go-to,” says Kelsey Stiegman, a senior style editor at Seventeen. “I try to go for pieces that are either incredibly unique or timeless...

(CNN) American democracy -- under a relentless, multi-front assault from pro-Donald Trump Republicans -- is about to show whether it is strong enough to save itself. Such a premise would have been considered absurd through much of history. But since Trump left office after destroying the tradition of peaceful transfers of power in a failed attempt to steal the 2020 election, it has become clear that his insurrectionism was only the first battle in a longer political war as his allies tout ridiculous fantasies about returning him to power to applause and online acclaim. The mechanisms of American institutions that...

The two steamers retired to await the Pawnee. The Pawnee stopped at Fort Washington, to await the arrival of the transport Baltimore, with troops, supposed to be the New-York Seventy-first Regiment. Americans, President Joe Biden's budget proposal suggests, should not worry that he plans to significantly increase federal deficits over the next eight years. Why? Because he intends to begin reducing them -- but not eliminating them -- nine years from now. Of course, even if the now 78-year-old Biden were to run for reelection in 2024 and win the presidency again, he would be out of office in nine years. Page 26 of Biden's budget proposal carries a profoundly ironic subhead. It says: "Putting the Nation on a Fiscally Responsible Path." "The Budget charts a fiscally responsible path for delivering...

Fewer American babies were named 'Karen' last year than any year since 1932, after the name became a pejorative slur for white women who throw fits in public. Data released by the Social Security Administration shows that last year, just 325 newborns were named Karen, which represents 0.019 percent of total female births in 2020. Karen, which had already been declining in popularity for years, plunged from the 660th most popular female name to number 831, tying for the 13th sharpest decline among all female baby names. The name Karen peaked in popularity in 1965, when 32,873 Karens were born,...

VIDEOAny suggestion that the New York investigation of Donald Trump is in any way political is yet another example of "THE BIG LIE." As you can see, New York Attorney General Letitia James has conducted herself in an absolutely professional manner completely free of any hint of partisan bias.

Peter Daszak, a zoologist whose non-profit steered U.S. funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, thanked Dr. Anthony Fauci for pushing back on the theory that the coronavirus leaked from a lab, in an April 2020 email published as part of a FOIA request by Buzzfeed. Daszak’s organization, the EcoHealth Alliance, funneled $3.4 million in grants from the National Institutes of Health to the WIV to study bat coronaviruses between 2014 and 2019. While politicians and scientists in the U.S. have suggested that the novel coronavirus initially leaked from the WIV before spreading across the globe, Daszak has vehemently denied...

Right now we're getting a feeling that echoes the feeling from last fall, a sense that every new piece of investigative journalism on Hunter Biden's alleged laptop will be ignored by the "mainstream media." To be fair, when they didn't ignore the story back then, they constantly implied it was a Russian disinformation plot. On May 28, the New York Post returned to the corrupt scene. "A photo shows Joe Biden with a pair of his troubled son's business associates from Kazakhstan in what appears to be the same Washington, DC, power-dining spot" -- Cafe Milano -- "where Hunter Biden...

If there is one reason why problems associated with race in America persist, it is because we pretend to address problems caused by one sin by exchanging them with other sins. resident Biden has just issued a proclamation recognizing 100 years since the race massacre that occurred in the Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1921. Greenwood was a wealthy Black neighborhood, a center of Black business, known as Black Wall Street, that was ravaged in two days of rioting by white racists. It resulted in the death of hundreds and the loss of property of thousands. It is indeed...

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem Psalm 83Psalm 83[a] A song. A psalm of Asaph. 1 O God, do not remain silent; do not turn a deaf ear, do not stand aloof, O God. 2 See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads. 3 With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. 4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.” 5 With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you— 6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,...

As you may be aware, a big part of the recent strategy of environmental activists supposedly to address “climate change” has been a multi-front legal onslaught against the major oil producing companies. The onslaught has included everything from hundreds of lawsuits in as many jurisdictions, restrictive new laws, regulatory initiatives, proxy contests, and much else. The past few days have brought news of what may appear to be a couple of major victories by the activists. In the U.S., insurgent shareholders on May 26 scored a victory in a proxy contest involving ExxonMobil, successfully electing two directors (out of twelve)...

On 5 February 2021 we published a clarification to this piece. It is available here. Five weeks ago, when I raised questions about the results of Pfizer’s and Moderna’s covid-19 vaccine trials, all that was in the public domain were the study protocols and a few press releases. Today, two journal publications and around 400 pages of summary data are available in the form of multiple reports presented by and to the FDA prior to the agency’s emergency authorization of each company’s mRNA vaccine. While some of the additional details are reassuring, some are not. Here I outline new concerns...

“Too long for me to read,” Fauci wrote in response to an email from Dr. Erik Nilsen, a published PhD physicist and CEO of neuroscience research company Bio-Signal. And while Fauci may not have had time to read the email outlining Chinese Communist Party (CCP) manipulation of COVID-19 data, he has found time to author a book about his “life philosophy”, promote children’s books pushing COVID-19 vaccines, and even deliver commencement addresses at controversial universities conducting gain-of-function research. The email from Nilsen warns that the data the CCP was sharing with the world regarding COVID-19 death counts was fraudulent: I’m...

After former Congresswoman Barbara Comstock, R, Va., joked on "Meet the Press" about Republicans not missing former President Donald Trump if he were to disappear tomorrow, the former President issued a statement going back after her. Comstock said that "I understand Republicans want to get away from Donald Trump. I mean, if Donald Trump disappeared tomorrow, I don't think you'd have many Republicans in the search party, right? Maybe a few prosecutors, but not Republicans. So they want to get away from him, but the problem is he's not going to go away.” In turn, Trump released a statement reading,...

Many fatalists see America in decline and China ascendent. China's dictator, Xi Jinping, agrees in public. But beneath that facade are gigantic problems that seem all but invisible to many in the West. Many fatalists see America in decline and China ascendant. China's dictator, Xi Jinping, agrees in public. But beneath the shiny new infrastructure, the amazing economic growth and competitiveness, China faces a reckoning, just as it prepares to mark a century of its Communist Party. We can thank President Trump for the belated recognition that China is the most important strategic threat to the United States. As little...
