Was there a racial aspect to the Colorado shooting? Did Democrat politician rhetoric inflame the killer?

Harry and Meghan's new strategist has revealed that she realised she was racist after marrying her black husband. Genevieve Roth believes that all white people are 'rife with internalised racism and unconscious bias'. 'Race is an issue in our marriage because as a white woman of privilege, I have racist tendencies written in at a cellular level,' the former Hilary Clinton aide wrote. Roth is the founder of Invisible Hand, a 'female-led diverse team' based in New York which is advising the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Archewell foundation. In article for Good Housekeeping last year she wrote about the...

What, exactly, are the taxpayers paying for in the highly politicized and loaded-for-money wokester FBI these days?

Safe Spaces of Violence Violence is enhancing the power of those who can use it with total impunity.Jörg Baberowski, an East German specialist on Stalin’s Russia, produced a book in 2018 titled Räume der Gewalt (The Spaces of Violence), which seems particularly relevant for understanding contemporary America. According to Baberowski, modern civilization appears to have overcome the perennial problem of violence, but this may be more illusion than reality. Beneath the surface of civility and lawfulness lurks the danger that violence may lay waste to our modern societies. What Tocqueville characterized as “soft despotism” may turn suddenly brutal, and states...

President Biden is apparently an even bigger believer in dogs than we all previously thought ... he says man's best friend might be able to help cure cancer!!! The Prez showered dogs with tons of praise Tuesday during a visit to Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital, saying ... "Dogs may help cure cancer. Not a joke." Biden's statement immediately raised a lot of eyebrows around the country, because even if ya love dogs -- CURING cancer??? Watch the clip, because the President did say something 100% factual ... which is that dogs can smell cancer, and some have been...

As I pass through my incarnations in every age and race,I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place. Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.Rudyard Kipling, Gods of the Copybook HeadingsEarlier this month C.J. Hopkins followed up an article he’d posted on Consent Factory, Inc. with a Facebook post of a photo by Gunnar Kaiser of the Dusseldorf Tower tricked out with the catchy propaganda slogan Impfen = Freiheit (Vaccination = Freedom). He attached a pithy 7 word commentary: “not quite Arbeit...

In NE Florida, I've seen 3 SpaceX / Starlink launches in the last couple of weeks, all were at night and clearly visible in our area...the latest launch was this morning around 4:30am.... Originally I thought all the Beta Testers were going to be in the Northern Tier of the USA and Southern Tier of Canada, now I've seen videos posted to YouTube from Beta Testers in the UK, Germany and most recently New Zealand and Australia.... A couple of interesting points.... I had no idea Starlink would be so rapidly expanding to the Southern Hemisphere in places like Australia...

Donald Trump’s entrance into politics scrambled both parties, accelerating a realignment of voters that continues to confound the Beltway nearly five years after he arrived on the scene. Patterns emerging from the vote in 2020 underscore these shifts, as Republicans made further inroads with minorities and the white working class, while Democrats pulled in extra support from the suburbs. As a result, the parties are now responsive to new coalitions. Culture and economics are obviously intertwined, but populist policy is most often discussed in the context of the latter, of trade and immigration and monopolies and student loans. Those issues...

President Biden fell three times while climbing the steps to Air Force One. What’s most noteworthy about this is that he had a firm grip on the handrail throughout. This should have kept him largely upright despite catching toes on the steps or misjudging their height or being knocked over by a breeze. There’s something really wrong where his internal gyroscope resides. And not just physically. His interpersonal relationships seem to be suffering. Joe has a huge team of folks he relies on to prop him up as he stumbles, bumbles, and mumbles through the public aspects of his presidency....

Stop me when you have heard this before. The Boulder, Colorado, shooter was named as 21-year-old Ahmad al-Aliwi Alissa earlier today. An then this gem from the New York Times: (New York Times) “The suspect’s identity was known to the F.B.I. because he was linked to another individual under investigation by the bureau, according to law enforcement officials... A reminder…. 50 FBI agents were enlisted within the Trump-Russia investigation to push a narrative. 13 FBI agents were dispatched to Talladega speedway to investigate a garage pull-down rope and push a narrative. Thousands of FBI hours have been spent investigating the...

After eight people were killed in the Atlanta area last week — including six women of Asian descent — Meghan McCain, cohost of “The View,” expressed regret about her previous comments that supported former President Trump’s anti-Asian rhetoric. “STOP ASIAN HATE” she tweeted Wednesday, punctuating her message with three broken-heart emojis. Thousands responded to her post with likes. But for TV host John Oliver, who opened Sunday’s “Last Week Tonight” by placing the shootings in the context of anti-Asian racism in U.S. history, McCain’s actions rang hollow.

This came into my inbox today from an Army lawyer (judge advocate). The reader gave me permission to post it if I left off his name and the names of mutual friends who urged him to reach out to me: I just read your piece, “Witness Against Wokeness” which reverberated strongly with me — not because I have any experience with Eastern European Communism, but because it is happening here and now and I am on the receiving end. I’ve already spoken with our mutual friends [names] about this matter and had hesitated to bring it to your attention. However,...

Wednesday of the 5th week of Lent Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano – San Juan Capistrano, CA First readingDaniel 3:14-20,24-25,28 ©God has sent his angel to rescue his servantsKing Nebuchadnezzar said, ‘Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, is it true that you do not serve my gods, and that you refuse to worship the golden statue I have erected? When you hear the sound of horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, or any other instrument, are you prepared to prostrate yourselves and worship the statue I have made? If you refuse to worship it, you must be thrown straight away into the...

The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday will hear oral argument in Caniglia v. Strom, a case that could have sweeping consequences for policing, due process, and mental health, with the Biden Administration and attorneys general from nine states urging the High Court to uphold warrantless gun confiscation. But what would ultimately become a major Fourth Amendment case began with an elderly couple’s spat over a coffee mug. (snip)But in its first amicus brief before the High Court, the Biden Administration glossed over these concerns and called on the justices to uphold the First Circuit’s ruling. Noting that “the ultimate touchstone...

There are many constructive ways of dealing with distasteful events from the past. Cancelling them is not one of them. Cancel Culture has progressed into the normalized reaction towards differences of opinion on so many different topics --from choice of clothing, movies from our past, to historical artifacts! We all know today that inequality should not be accepted, but can we erase the history that brought us here? Can we forget the hurdles that homosexuals, African Americans even white women have faced in years prior to bringing us to where we are today? I think not! While movements such as...

We are people of faces. Take faces away and the damage done to human interaction, to human relationships, because we cover our faces is incalculable. March 23, 2021 (Crisis Magazine) — At least some of the country was riveted by the images of an autistic boy writhing on the floor of an airport after he had been kicked off a flight for not masking. I say “at least some” because a large cohort of Americans couldn’t care less about his discomfort. They are the Maskers. And God help you if you stand in their way or even criticize their new...

The only thing ugly barricades, menacing tall fences topped with razor wire, and armed military guards are protecting is the Biden-Harris-Pelosi regime’s fabricated narrative that conservatives are an imminent threat to the nation. WASHINGTON, D.C., March 23, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — Our nation’s capital is now occupied by a regime that is antithetical to American exceptionalism; freedom of religion, assembly, and commerce; and free and fair elections. It’s as if the driving purpose underlying all of their actions is to foment hate and force isolation. Their continued mask mandate is not meant to protect our health; it is meant to dehumanize...

George Segal, whose long career included playing Albert “Pops” Solomon on “The Goldbergs,” and garnering an Oscar nom for supporting actor for “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf,” died Tuesday. He was 87. His wife Sonia announced his death, saying, “The family is devastated to announce that this morning George Segal passed away due to complications from bypass surgery.” Segal’s longtime manager Abe Hoch said, “I am saddened by the fact that my close friend and client of many years has passed away. I will miss his warmth, humor, camaraderie and friendship. He was a wonderful human.” Some of the top...

What do wannabe tyrants dream of? If you are a Trump supporter, you may soon find yourself in the crosshairs of an outfit called the “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” (TRC), an idea floated last fall by Robert Reich, professor at the University of California Berkeley and former Secretary of Labor in the Clinton Administration. Reich stated the purpose of the TRC this way on Twitter: When this nightmare [the Trump presidency] is over, we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. It would erase Trump’s lies, comfort those who have been harmed by his hatefulness, and name every official, politician, executive,...
