MADISON, WI — Two public-interest law firms are warning Madison’s teachers union that it could face a lawsuit if educators follow through on a plan to fake COVID-19 en masse as a protest against the return of in-person learning. “Madison Teachers, Inc. leaders are asking their members to falsely call-in sick in order to shut down in-person learning,” Daniel Suhr, senior attorney at the Liberty Justice Center said Friday in a press release. “An organized sick out is a form of strike and illegal in the State of Wisconsin and we are prepared to file a lawsuit to stop this...

What will happen down the road a piece to those who simply refuse the COVID vaccine? Will they be allowed to continue to be productive members of society? Or maybe they will be forced to wear a colorful pin with the initials, "NV" for no vaccine, or "not vaccinated." You know, akin to the yellow Star of David patch the German Jews were forced to wear. Will the authorities allow this to occur, the NVs commingling with the vaccinated faithful? What of those who simply don't buy into the mask mandates? Will these heretical, non-conformist science "deniers" be permitted to...

So you believe in science, eh? Excellent! So do I! Well, let me clarify. I don’t “believe” in science; I accept there is reality and this “science-way” of thinking has proven itself the best method for discovering this reality. What you or I believe has no impact on this reality. And what of this reality? How can we discover it to ensure our continued success and even our continued survival?

Apparently, liberal billionaires like abortion megadonor Warren Buffett aren’t allowed to remain silent on toxic racial politics without enraging the easily triggered liberal media. Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett released his annual letter to Berkshire Hathaway’s shareholders February 27. Bloomberg News reported Feb. 25 that Buffett had stayed quiet in 2020 amidst “a heated presidential election” and “a racial reckoning that sparked nationwide protests.” The outlet hoped that Buffett would have “a chance to break his silence with the release of his annual letter Saturday.” When the letter was released, Bloomberg News was enraged the billionaire still chose to steer...

At least take down the razor wire: D.C. residents, lawmakers chafe at Capitol fence “It’s kind of like working in a minimum-security prison right now,” Rep. Mark Amodei (R-Nev.) told acting Capitol Police chief Yogananda Pittman during a Thursday hearing before the House Appropriations Committee. ,,Pittman and Timothy Blodgett, the House’s acting sergeant-at-arms, said they are awaiting several security reviews before making a decision about the fence, but that it would remain at least through President Biden’s first address to Congress because of threats of violence from militia groups,,, www.washingtonpost.com/politics/capitol-police-chief-congress-threat/2021/02/25/22bc0b78-779d-11eb-9537-496158cc5fd9_story.html?itid=lk_inline_manual_9 The acting chief of the U.S. Capitol Police warned lawmakers...

President Trump just dropped a major bombshell that would not only exonerate himself of the incitement claims made by Democrats, but put the blame squarely on Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats. Trump said he requested 10k National Guard members be deployed before the Jan. 6th riot because he was concerned about the potential crowd size next to the Capitol. But his request was denied by Pelosi and other leaders responsible for the Capitol, purely because of “optics”:

A local citizens group has formed a Facebook page urging New Jersey transportation officials to improve a stretch of Interstate 80 they say will become unsafe once construction begins on a $50 million fence project. I80DWG Coalition says the stretch of the highway through the Delaware Water Gap, where the four-lane highway is squeezed between a 1,526-foot-high cliff at its peak and a river, is too tight for traffic congestion during any type of construction and especially, once work commences on a fence designed to prevent rockfall on the winding highway. Tractor trailers, the group says, will become wedged between...

“Adequately responding to the pandemic involves not only controlling COVID-19 cases and deaths but also addressing indirect social and economic consequences,” Dr. Ellicott Matthay, a postdoctoral scholar with the Center for Health and Community at UCSF, said in a statement. According to her team’s study that was published in the American Journal of Public Health, the data projected that the spring 2020 spike in unemployment in the United States would lead to 30,231 excess deaths among those aged twenty-five to sixty-four in the ensuing twelve months.

Taking Gov. Andrew Cuomo to task for his flippant response to the sexual harassment allegations leveled against him by two former staffers, Mayor Bill de Blasio on Monday said the latest scandal is no laughing matter and Cuomo’s description of “just kidding around” was not an apology. “On top of it, he’s saying, ‘Oh, I was joking around.’ Sexual harassment’s not funny! Who the hell tries to explain that by saying I was just joking around. That even further confirms a mindset from a whole other time that we have left behind,” the mayor said during an interview on the...

An education student at a university in New York was suspended after his Instagram posts were brought to the attention of the school’s administration. The school says education students have to abide by the rules of their profession, which include “protecting the mental and emotional well-being of all students.” In one of the posts, Owen Stevens, a student at the State University of New York-Geneseo (SUNY-Geneseo), said “A man is a man, a woman is a woman. A man is not a woman and a woman is not a man.” Some of his peers did not agree with his stance...

Once again, another incident took place involving Jews on an airplane and mask compliance. The latest incident occurred on Sunday evening, on Frontier Airline flight F9 2878 from Miami International to La Guardia Airport. An eye-witness tells YWN that the flight attendants made an issue over a 15-month old toddler that was not wearing a mask, despite airline regulations that clearly state that “Face coverings are not required for children under the age of 2.” Image below: Fly Frontier’s own website says that children under the age of 2 don’t need masks. But even if this was an incident of...

Evanston, Illinois, is like a lot of American cities. The city just north of Chicago appears picturesque, updated and grand on one side -- but not far away, one can see the signs of economic and racial segregation, despite the city's proud, diverse and liberal reputation. What sets Evanston apart from other cities, however, is its groundbreaking plan to address the impact of that segregation and Black disenfranchisement: reparations. The impetus for the city's reparations resolution, first passed in 2019 and spearheaded by 5th Ward Alderman Robin Rue Simmons, is rooted partially in Rue Simmons' experience growing up Black in...
