In a January interview with Fortune magazine, retired U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Thomas Kolditz said supporters of President Donald Trump who thought the Jan. 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol “was a good thing” need to be kicked out of the military.“One of my bigger concerns is that there has long been a strong Trump following in the military,” Kolditz told Fortune. “People in the military have every right to be conservative or extremely conservative. But Trump’s supporters in the military who think that what happened [on Jan. 6] was a good thing need to be managed out of the...

President Joe Biden on Thursday told Russia that the United States would no longer be “rolling over” in the face of aggressive action by Moscow, declaring a new, tough approach by Washington. Visiting the State Department, Biden also promised to repair alliances and engage with the world again. “American leadership” must meet rising authoritarianism and unite with partners to combat global challenges such as the coronavirus pandemic or climate change, he said. Biden, as expected, adopted a sterner tone with Russian President Vladimir Putin than his predecessor, Donald Trump. “I made it clear to President Putin in a manner very...

Here's a heads up for parents with college age children who claimed them as dependents in 2019 but the children didn't get a stimulus check last year: If you file their return separately, they will get the $1800 in their tax refund, even if they didn't have a W-2. That is how Turbo Tax figured it anyway. If you count them as a dependent, it only reduces your taxes by $500. So it's $1300 net gain.

Is she right there whenever Biden faces the cameras in case he keels over? Or is this some attempt to add presidential “gravitas” to a problematic choice for the ticket, so lacking in appeal that she dropped out of the presidential field before the Iowa caucuses? Or, are we being prepared for Harris to assume the presidency sooner than anyone expected? Whatever the motives, Joe Biden’s handlers seem to have decided that they need to double-team presidential public events when the cameras start rolling....But I wonder if it really adds luster to Harris to show up, masked, with nothing better...

This is not the first time Tony Fauci has gotten death threats. During the height of the HIV epidemic, LGBTQ activists pressed him to make experimental treatment drugs available for gay men dying of AIDS. They called on him to do something — anything — to stop the epidemic that was taking the lives of so many in their community. They protested outside his office at the National Institutes of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, where he was the director — the post he still holds today — with his head on a stake. They burned effigies of his body. In...

President Joe Biden’s administration denied multiple President Trump-era aides their previously established maternity leave, some days before birth, reports Politico. Even though some Trump aides made arrangements for parental leave early in 2021 in advance of their children’s births, multiple federal employees were told shortly before or after their babies arrived that the benefits would no longer be extended to them after Biden and his team took office. Some families pleaded with the new administration to honor the previous agreements, one couple writing that they were counting on the leave to deal with “unforeseen complications” during the birth of their...

An 81-person orgy at a French warehouse was broken up by police last Friday for violating a coronavirus curfew, a report said. The sex party in Collegien — about 20 miles outside Paris — also featured booze, sound systems and light installations, the Independent reported. Police responded to the party at 9 p.m. — three hours after France’s curfew — and first found 11 people in the parking lot. Once authorities were able to legally enter the warehouse at 11 p.m., they discovered the orgy...

Steve Schmidt, one of the founders of the notoriously anti-Trump Lincoln Project, is a registered member of an ultraconservative political party, voting records show — just weeks after he claimed he was becoming a Democrat. In a post-election interview on Dec. 15, the longtime GOP strategist who former President Donald Trump once denounced as a “blathering idiot,” announced he was registering as a member of the Democratic Party after almost three decades as a Republican. “I spent 29 years as a Republican, I’ve spent two and a half as an independent, and later this afternoon I will register as a...

...In the scheme discussed in the series' second part, Clinton's campaign would send residents from one state to vote in another. Poll canvassers in the second state, unaware of the subterfuge, would compile addresses that the campaign's operatives in the first state would receive and distribute. But the ineligible voters had to arrive without arousing suspicion. As he discussed the plan, Foval revealed his intricate thought process in devising such a ruse. "When I do this, I think like an investigator first," Foval said. "I used to do the investigating. If a major investigation of major vote fraud came up,...

An Army commander recently briefed U.S. Special Forces candidates and trainees they could be detained or chaptered out of the Army if they are found affiliated with certain imagery popular on the political right that is now considered to be associated with extremism, Breitbart News can exclusively reveal. The briefing, by Army Col. Mike Henry, MD, deputy commander of Special Warfare Medical Group (Airborne)/Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center at the U.S. John F. Economists interviewed by FEE warn that Senator Warren's new proposal would backfire horribly... Senator Elizabeth Warren made a “wealth tax” on net worth one of the defining proposals of her unsuccessful 2020 presidential campaign. Now, the staunch progressive is using her new perch on the Senate Finance Committee to introduce a wealth tax at long last. Warren’s wealth tax would affect families with assets of $50 million and greater, Fox Business reports. It would start at a 2 percent annual tax, but add an additional 3 or 6 percent levy on those with assets totaling $1 billion and more. Other...

The U.S. Navy has patents on weird and little understood technology. According to patents filed by the Navy, it is working on a compact fusion reactor that could power cities, an engine that works using “inertial mass reduction,” and a “hybrid aerospace-underwater craft.” Dubbed the “UFO patents, The War Zone has reported that the Navy had to build prototypes of some of the outlandish tech to prove it worked.Dr. Salvatore Cezar Pais is the man behind the patents and The War Zone has proven the man exists, at least on paper. Pais has worked for a number of different departments...

How Not to Address Our Domestic Terrorism ProblemAfter ignoring an entire summer of rampant political violence—where more than 30 people were killed, and America’s urban areas reportedly have suffered upwards of $2 billion in damages—we are now suddenly inundated with experts who wish to offer solutions to the problem of “domestic terrorism.”Or, rather, some domestic terrorism. It is only after the disreputable and ugly events of January 6 that we are being treated to solutions, which look more like the smashing and insulting of political enemies than serious proposals for ensuring domestic tranquility.Consider Kevin Carroll, who served as senior counsel...

During a remote address on Thursday at the National Prayer Breakfast, Joe Biden abandoned his sham call for ‘unity’ and instead exploited the January 6 mayhem at the US Capitol to label opponents to his regime’s totalitarian policies as terrorists driven by extremism and racism. “We just have to open our eyes. We’ve just witnessed images that we’ve never imagined — images that now we’ll never forget: a violent assault on the U.S. Capitol — an assault on our democracy, on our Capitol, a violent attack that threatened lives and took lives,” Biden said. “We know now we must confront...

Meghan McCain told her co-hosts Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that the Republican Party is losing suburban voters over Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and “Trumpism.” Discussing House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) saying Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) apologized in private, McCain said, “If you want to apologize for all the garbage and bile that you have said and then put our party through at the same time, do it publicly. Kevin McCarthy, you let Liz Cheney vacillate until the 11th hour, and then at the 11th hour said, ‘Oh, okay. We should rally behind her.’ He had plenty...

If President Trump had been colluding with Russia, the first thing he would have done would have been to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline and otherwise prevent our achieving energy independence. Russia was once described as being a gas station masquerading as a country. Its only commodities of value are weapons and oil. Building Keystone XL and unleashing fracking was Trump’s way of screwing with Putin’s ambitions, ot rewarding them. We would have to wait for Joe Biden to collude with Russia on energy by banning Keystone XL and declaring war on fracking. As Helen Raleigh, writing in The Federalist,...
